Amyloid-b,tau pathology,and biomarkers of neurodegeneration make up the core diagnostic biomarkers of Alzheimer disease(AD).However,these proteins represent only a fraction of the complex biological processes underlying AD,and individuals with other brain diseases in which AD pathology is a comorbidity also test positive for these diagnostic *** ADspecific early diagnostic and disease staging biomarkers are *** this study,we performed tandem mass tag proteomic analysis of paired cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)and serum samples in a discovery cohort comprising 98 *** biomarkers were validated by parallel reaction monitoring–based targeted proteomic assays in an independent multicenter cohort comprising 288 *** quantified 3,238 CSF and 1,702 serum proteins in the discovery cohort,identifying 171 and 860 CSF proteins and 37 and 323 serum proteins as potential early diagnostic and staging biomarkers,*** the validation cohort,58 and 21 CSF proteins,as well as 12 and 18 serum proteins,were verified as early diagnostic and staging biomarkers,*** 19-protein CSF and an 8-protein serum biomarker panels were built by machine learning to accurately classify mild cognitive impairment(MCI)due to AD from normal cognition with areas under the curve of 0.984 and 0.881,*** 19-protein CSF biomarker panel also effectively discriminated patients with MCI due to AD from patients with other neurodegenerative ***,we identified 21 CSF and 18 serum stage-associated proteins re-flecting AD *** findings provide a foundation for developing bloodbased tests for AD screening and staging in clinical practice.

Thermally Conductive,Healable Glass Fiber Cloth Reinforced Polymer Composite based onβ-Hydroxyester Bonds Crosslinked Epoxy with Improved Heat Resistance

To simultaneously endow thermal conductivity,high glass transition temperature(Tg)and healing capability to glass fiber/epoxy(GFREP)composite,dynamic crosslinked epoxy resin bearing reversibleβ-hydroxyl ester bonds was reinforced with boron nitride nanosheets modified glass fiber cloth(GFC@BNNSs).The in-plane heat conduction paths were constructed by electrostatic self-assembly of polyacrylic acid treated GFC and polyethyleneimine decorated ***,the GFC@BNNSs were impregnated with the mixture of lower concentration(3-glycidyloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane grafted BN micron sheets,3,4-epoxycyclohexylmethyl 3,4-epoxycyclohexanecarboxylate and hexahydro-4-methylphthalic anhydride,which accounted for establishing the through-plane heat transport pathways and avoiding serious deterioration of mechanical *** resultant GFREP composite containing less boron nitride particles(17.6 wt%)exhibited superior in-plane(3.29 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1))and through-plane(1.16 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1))thermal conductivities,as well as high Tg of 204℃(Tg of the unfilled epoxy=177℃).The reversible transesterification reaction enabled closure of interlaminar cracks within the composite,achieving decent healing efficiencies estimated by means of tensile strength(71.2%),electrical breakdown strength(83.6%)and thermal conductivity(69.1%).The present work overcame the disadvantages of conventional thermally conductive composites,and provided an efficient approach to prolong the life span of thermally conductive GFREP laminate for high-temperature resistant integrated circuit application.

Schiff base metal complexes are of great importance in pharmaceutical science owing to their unique chemical properties, which enable them to exhibit diverse biological activities such as anti-bacterial,anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor properties. Furthermore, Schiff base metal complexes can serve as reagents and catalysts in chemical reactions. This review aims to provide an overview of our recently published studies on Cu(Ⅱ) and Pd(Ⅱ) complexes derived from proline Schiff base ligands. We also discuss the potential applications of these metal complexes in the fields of antibacterial and chiral resolution.

Assessment of Wet Season Precipitation in the Central United States by the Regional Climate Simulation of the WRFG Member in NARCCAP and Its Relationship with Large-Scale Circulation Biases

Assessment of past-climate simulations of regional climate models(RCMs)is important for understanding the reliability of RCMs when used to project future regional ***,we assess the performance and discuss possible causes of biases in a WRF-based RCM with a grid spacing of 50 km,named WRFG,from the North American Regional Climate Change Assessment Program(NARCCAP)in simulating wet season precipitation over the Central United States for a period when observational data are *** RCM reproduces key features of the precipitation distribution characteristics during late spring to early summer,although it tends to underestimate the magnitude of *** dry bias is partially due to the model’s lack of skill in simulating nocturnal precipitation related to the lack of eastward propagating convective systems in the *** in reproducing large-scale circulation and environmental conditions is another contributing *** too weak simulated pressure gradient between the Rocky Mountains and the Gulf of Mexico results in weaker southerly winds in between,leading to a reduction of warm moist air transport from the Gulf to the Central Great *** simulated low-level horizontal convergence fields are less favorable for upward motion than in the NARR and hence,for the development of moist convection as ***,a careful examination of an RCM’s deficiencies and the identification of the source of errors are important when using the RCM to project precipitation changes in future climate scenarios.

The inter-agency government information sharing(IAGIS)plays an important role in improving service and efficiency of government ***,there is still no effective and secure way for data-driven IAGIS to fulfill dynamic demands of information sharing between government *** by blockchain and data mining,a data-driven framework is proposed for IAGIS in this ***,the blockchain is used as the core to design the whole framework for monitoring and preventing leakage and abuse of government information,in order to guarantee information ***,a four-layer architecture is designed for implementing the proposed ***,the classical data mining algorithms PageRank and Apriori are applied to dynamically design smart contracts for information sharing,for the purposed of flexibly adjusting the information sharing strategies according to the practical demands of government agencies for public management and public ***,a case study is presented to illustrate the operation of the proposed framework.

Hydroxysafflor yellow A induced ferroptosis of Osteosarcoma cancer cells by HIF-1α/HK2 and SLC7A11 pathway

Osteosarcoma is a very serious primary bone cancer with a high death rate and a dismal *** there is no permanent therapy for this condition,it is necessary to develop a ***,this investigation was carried out to assess the impacts and biological functions of hydroxysafflor yellow A(HYSA)in osteosarcoma cell lines(MG63).In this investigational study,MG63 cells were *** experiments,quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),immunofluorescent staining,extracellular acidification rate(ECAR),oxygen consumption rate(OCR),glucose consumption,lactate production,and ATP levels,proliferation assay,5-Ethynyl-2′-deoxyuridine(EDU)staining,and Western blot were *** MG63 cells,HYSA lowered cell proliferation and metastasis rates,suppressed EDU cell number,and enhanced caspase-3/9 activity *** reduced the Warburg effect and induced ferroptosis(FPT)in MG63 *** ferroptosis diminished HYSA’s anti-cancer activities in MG63 *** stimulation of the HIF-1α/SLC7A11 pathway decreased HYSA’s anti-cancer activities in MG63 ***-1αis one target spot for HYSA in a model of osteosarcoma cancer(OC).HYSA altered HIF-1α’s thermophoretic activity;following binding with HYSA,HIF-1α’s melting point increased from~55°C to~60°*** significantly enhanced the thermal stability of exogenous WT HIF-1αwhile not affecting Mut HIF-1α,suggesting that ARG-311,GLY-312,GLN-347,and GLN-387 may be involved in the interaction between HIF-1αand ***,our study revealed that HYSA induced FPT and reduced the Warburg effect of OC through mitochondrial damage by HIF-1α/HK2/SLC7A11 *** is a possible therapeutic option for OC or other cancers.

Advances in noble metal-modified g-C3N4 heterostructures toward enhanced photocatalytic redox ability

The photocatalytic activity of catalysts depends on the energy-harvesting ability and the separation or transport of photogenerated carriers. The light absorption capacity of graphitic carbon nitride（g-C3N4）-based composites can be enhanced by adjusting the surface plasmon resonance（SPR） of noble metal nanoparticles（e.g., Cu, Au, and Pd） in the entire visible region. Adjustments can be carried out by varying the nanocomponents of the materials. The SPR of noble metals can enhance the local electromagnetic field and improve interband transition, and resonant energy transfer occurs from plasmonic dipoles to electron–hole pairs via near-field electromagnetic interactions. Thus, noble metals have emerged as relevant nanocomponents for g-C3N4used in CO2photoreduction and water ***, recent key advances in noble metals（either in single atom, cluster, or nanoparticle forms） and composite photocatalysts based on inorganic or organic nanocomponent-incorporated g-C3N4nanosheets are systematically discussed, including the applications of these photocatalysts, which exhibit improved photoinduced charge mobility in CO2photoconversion and H2production. Issues related to the different types of multi-nanocomponent heterostructures（involving Schottky junctions, Z-/S-scheme heterostructures, noble metals, and additional semiconductor nanocomponents） and the adjustment of dimensionality of heterostructures（by incorporating noble metal nanoplates on g-C3N4forming 2D/2D heterostructures） are explored. The current prospects and possible challenges of g-C3N4composite photocatalysts incorporated with noble metals（e.g., Au, Pt, Pd, and Cu）, particularly in water splitting, CO2reduction, pollution degradation,and chemical conversion applications, are summarized.
