Background:Previously published meta-epidemiological studies focused on Western medicine have identified some trial characteristics that impact the treatment effect of randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Nevertheless,it remains unclear if similar associations exist in RCTs on Chinese herbal medicine(CHM).Further,Chinese medicine-related characteristics have not been explored ***:To investigate trial characteristics related to treatment effect estimates on CHM *** strategy:This meta-epidemiological study searched 5 databases for systematic reviews on CHM treatment published between January 2011 and July *** criteria:An eligible systematic review should only include RCTs of CHM and conduct at least one *** extraction and analysis:Two reviewers independently conducted data extraction on general characteristics of systematic reviews,meta-analyses and included *** also assessed the risk of bias of RCTs using the Cochrane risk of bias tool.A two-step approach was used for data *** ratio of odds ratios(ROR) and difference in standardized mean differences (dSMD) with 95%confidence interval (CI) were applied to present the difference in effect estimates for binary and continuous outcomes,***:Ninety-one systematic reviews,comprising 1338 RCTs were *** binary outcomes,RCTs incorporated with syndrome differentiation (ROR:1.23;95%CI:[1.07,1.39]),adopting Chinese medicine formula (ROR:1.19;95%CI:[1.03,1.34]),with low risk of bias on incomplete outcome data (ROR:1.29;95%CI:[1.06,1.52]) and selective outcome reporting (ROR:1.12;95%CI:[1.01,1.24]),as well as a trial size≥100 (ROR:1.23;95%CI:[1.04,1.42]) preferred to show larger effect *** for continuous outcomes,RCTs with Chinese medicine diagnostic criteria (dSMD:0.23;95%CI:[0.06,0.41]),judged as high/unclear risk of bias on allocation concealment (dSMD:-0.70;95%CI:[-0.99,-0.42]),with low risk of bias on incomplete outcome data (dSMD:0.30

The limited material removal rate of conventional chemical mechanical polishing(CMP)significantly hinders the fabrica-tion efficiency and surface quality,thereby preventing the development of gallium nitride(GaN)-based ***,the incorporation of photoelectrochemistry in CMP has garnered increasing attention because of its potential to enhance the quality and efficiency of the GaN ***,a considerable gap still exists in the comprehensive understanding of the specific photoelectrochemical(PEC)behavior of ***,we report the influence of the electrolyte on the PEC etching of *** acids and bases were tested,with their pH being carefully *** concentrations of the cations and anions were also *** results showed that photocorrosion/photoetching was more pronounced in sulfuric acid,phosphoric acid,and nitric acid environments than in alkaline environments,but it was less pronounced in hydrochloric ***,the effects of pH and anion concentration on photoetching were investigated,and the results revealed that pho-toetching in acidic environments weakened with increasing pH levels and diminished with increasing sulfate *** underly.ng reasons contributing to this observation were *** findings provide ideas for improving the pho-toetching efficiency of GaN,thereby enriching the photoelectrochemical mechanical polishing(PECMP)technology of GaN.

Background This retrospective study assessed the efficacy and safety of ketogenic diet therapies in children with epilepsy caused by SLC2A1 genetic mutations and glucose transporter type 1 deficiency *** Pediatric patients with epilepsy symptoms admitted to our medical center between January 2017 and October 2021 were included if they presented with an SLC2A1 genetic mutation on whole-exome *** analyzed the patients’convulsions and treatment with antiepileptic *** patients were followed up at different time periods after ketogenic diet *** Six patients with SLC2A1 mutations were included in this *** patients had seizures of different types and frequencies,and they took antiepileptic drugs to relieve their *** were then treated with a ketogenic diet for at least four *** analyzed epilepsy control rates at 1,2,3,6,and 12 months after ketogenic diet *** patients were seizure-free within a month of receiving the diet *** patients were followed up for six months,three were followed up for 12 months after the treatment,and there was no recurrence of epilepsy during this *** antiepileptic drug withdrawal,none of the patients experienced seizure relapse when receiving ketogenic diet treatment *** severe adverse events occurred during the *** Ketogenic diet therapy is very effective and safe for the treatment of epilepsy caused by SLC2A1 ***,patients with glucose transporter type 1 deficiency syndrome caused by SLC2A1 mutations should begin ketogenic diet treatment as soon as possible.

Per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances(PFASs)are emerging persistent organic pollutants(POPs).In this study,47 surface sediment samples were collected from the yellow River Delta wetland(yRDW)to investigate the occurrence,spatial distribution,potential sources,and ecological risks of ***-three out of 26 targeted PFASs were detected in surface sediment samples from the yRDW,with totalΣ23PFASs concentrations ranging from 0.23 to 16.30 ng g^(-1) dw and a median value of 2.27 ng g^(-1) *** acid(PFOA),perfluorobutanoic acid(PFBA)and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid(PFOS)were the main *** detection frequency and concentration of perfluoroalkyl carboxylic acids(PFCAs)were higher than those of perfluoroal-kanesulfonic acids(PFSAs),while those of long-chain PFASs were higher than those of short-chain *** emerging PFASs substitutes were dominated by 6:2 chlorinated polyfluoroalkyl ether sulfonic acid(6:2 Cl-PFESA).The distribution of PFASs is significantly influenced by the total organic carbon content in the *** concentration of PFASs seems to be related to human activities,with high concentration levels of PFASs near locations such as beaches and *** using a positive matrix factorization model,the potential sources of PFASs in the region were identified as metal plating mist inhibitor and fluoropolymer manufacturing sources,metal plating industry and firefighting foam and textile treatment sources,and food packaging material *** risk assessment indicated that PFASs in yRDW sediments do not pose a significant ecological risk to benthic organisms in the region overall,but PFOA and PFOS exert a low to moderate risk at individual stations.
