The Triple Ionosphere Photo Meter(TRIPM)is a far ultraviolet nadir-view photometer that is onboard the secondgeneration,polar-orbiting Chinese meteorological satellite Feng-Yun 3E(FY-3E),which was launched on July 5,*** has three channels,and each is used to measure different types of emissions:(1)135.6 nm airglow produced by the recombination of the O+ions and electrons in the absence of sunlight(nighttime channel);(2)135.6 nm airglow from the OI when sunlight is present(daytime/dusk-dawn 135.6 nm channel);and(3)Airglow in the N_(2)LBH of the TRIPM(daytime/dusk-dawn N_(2)LBH channel).FY-3E is a satellite operating in the early morning ***,the data are mostly distributed on the dawndusk side or at times when the solar zenith angle is relatively *** this study,combined with simulation calculations,the data are *** further explore the application value of the data products,a model is used to separate the ionospheric radiative recombination contribution from the thermosphere photoelectron impact excitation contribution in the data from the daytime/dusk-dawn 135.6 nm *** approach not only improves the accuracy of O/N_(2)derived from the 135.6 nm channel and N_(2)LBH channel but also provides the ionospheric 135.6 nm radiance at the same time as the *** results show that the 135.6 nm radiance originating from the combination of O+and electrons extracted from the measurement data exhibits similar equatorial anomaly peak structure characteristics and seasonal variations as the corresponding GPS total electron content(TEC)*** the other hand,the separated 135.6 nm radiance generated from the thermosphere photoelectron collision excitation does not contain radiative recombination contributions;thus,the ionosphere influence is greatly avoided when the O/N_(2)is obtained.

Enhancing the concentration of exogenous molecular drugs within the tumor microenvironment through enzyme-catalyzed polymerization presents a novel strategy for cancer ***,the optimization of the catalytic efficiency is often impeded by the inefficient expression of ***,we reported a self-amplifying fluorescent molecular probe,Bis-HTPICG,for photodynamic therapy(PDT)and subsequent PDT-induced *** Bis-HTP-ICG probe possesses a noticeable enzyme-catalyzed polymerization facilitated by myeloperoxidase(MPO),a crucial enzyme secreted by neutrophils at inflammation *** exposure to laser irradiation,Bis-HTP-ICG showed a high PDT efficacy,inducing an acute inflammatory response that stimulates further recruitment of neutrophils and then elevated MPO *** heightened level of MPO enhances the accumulation of the Bis-HTP-ICG via self-polymerization or binding with intratumoral proteins following MPO enzyme catalysis,instigating a self-amplifying chain reaction cycle involving Bis-HTP-ICG,neutrophils and ***,PDT efficiently incites immunogenic cell death(ICD)in tumor cells,initiating an anti-tumor immune response including dendritic cells(DCs)maturation,T cell proliferation and reprogramming of tumor-associated neutrophils(TANs).This work portrays a promising strategy for self-amplification of fluorescent molecular probes through adjustable enzyme levels,potentially offering a unique avenue to enhance the tumor accumulation of molecular drugs for improved tumor therapy.

Methane, an abundant one-carbon(C_(1)) resource, is extensively used in the industrial production of vital fuels and value-added chemicals. However, current industrial methane conversion technologies are energy-and carbon-intensive, mainly due to the high activation energy required to break the inert C–H bond, low selectivity, and problematic side reactions, including CO_(2)emissions and coke deposition. Electrochemical conversion of methane(ECM) using intermittent renewable energy offers an attractive solution, due to its modular reactor design and operational flexibility across a broad spectrum of temperatures and pressures. This review emphasizes conversion pathways of methane in various reaction systems, highlighting the significance and advantages of ECM in facilitating a sustainable artificial carbon cycle. This work provides a comprehensive overview of conventional methane activation mechanisms and delineates the complete pathways of methane conversion in electrolysis contexts. Based on surface/interface chemistry, this work systematically analyzes proposed reaction pathways and corresponding strategies to enhance ECM efficiency towards various target products, including syngas, hydrocarbons, oxygenates, and advanced carbon materials. The discussion also encompasses opportunities and challenges for the ECM process, including insights into ECM pathways, rational electrocatalyst design, establishment of benchmarking protocols, electrolyte engineering, enhancement of CH4conversion rates, and minimization of CO_(2)emission.

Personal care products(PCPs)are a class of emerging pollutants that have attracted public concern owing to their harmful effects on humans and the *** data is valuable for insight the levels of PCPs in the human body and can be crucial for identifying potential health *** gain a better understanding of timely exposure profiles and health risk of reproductive-age population to PCPs,we determined six parabens,six benzophenone-type ultraviolet filters,and three disinfectants in 256 urine samples collected from young adults aged 18-44 years in Beijing,*** urinary levels of benzophenone-3(BP-3)and 4-hydroxybenzophenone(4-OHBP)were significantly higher in summer compared to winter,suggesting these compounds have different seasonal usage ***,the total concentration of 15 PCPs in female was 430 ng/mL,approximately two times higher than that in male.P-chloro-m-xylenol(PCMX),as a new type of antibacterial agent,has the greatest level among all target analytes,indicating the increasingly use of this antibacterial alternative *** potential influencing factors that lead to the elevated exposure level of PCPs were *** 19%of the target population had a high hazard index value(greater than 1)which was attributed to exposure to propyl paraben(PrP),benzophenone-1(BP-1),BP-3 and PCMX,indicating that PCPs may pose a relatively high exposure risk at environmental levels that should be a cause for concern.

Spermatogenesis is critical for insect reproduction and the process is regulated by multiple genes. Glycosyltransferases have been shown to participate in the development of Drosophila melanogaster;however, their role in spermatogenesis is still unclear. In this study, we found that alpha 1,4-galactosyltransferase 1 (alpha 4GT1) was expressed at a significantly higher level in the testis than in the ovary of Drosophila. Importantly, the hatching rate was significantly decreased when alpha 4GT1 RNA interference (RNAi) males were crossed with w1118 females, with only a few mature sperm being present in the seminal vesicle of alpha 4GT1 RNAi flies. Immunofluorescence staining further revealed that the individualization complex (IC) in the testes from alpha 4GT1 RNAi flies was scattered and did not move synchronically, compared with the clustered IC observed in the control flies. Terminal deoxyribonucleotide transferase (TdT)-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) assay showed that apoptosis signals in the sperm bundles of alpha 4GT1 RNAi flies were significantly increased. Moreover, the expression of several individualization-related genes, such as Shrub, Obp44a and Hanabi, was significantly decreased, whereas the expression of several apoptosis-related genes, including Dronc and Drice, was significantly increased in the testes of alpha 4GT1 RNAi flies. Together, these results suggest that alpha 4GT1 may play dual roles in Drosophila spermatogenesis by regulating the sperm individualization process and maintaining the survival of sperm bundles.
