BACKGROUND Granulomatous lobular mastitis(GLM)is a type of benign chronic inflammatory disease that poses therapeutic challenges to healthcare *** diagnosis of GLM relies on tissue biopsy,and incorrect treatment may lead to delayed diagnosis,considerable aesthetic damage,and even *** SUMMARY We report the case of a 37-year-old Chinese woman who was lactating and had GLM in both *** the time of treatment,the right breast had a mass of approximately 15 cm×11 cm,which was hard and had poor *** skin ulcerations and pus spills were also observed on the surface of the *** left breast had a mass of about 13 cm×9 cm,which was hard and had poor *** Herein,we report a case of bilateral GLM in a lactating woman that was successfully treated with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),without the requirement for surgery or other ***,TCM may have advantages in the nonsurgical treatment of GLM.

AIM： To study the expression and activity of inducible nitric oxide synthase （iNOS） and endothelial nitric oxide synthase （eNOS） in rats with ethanol-induced liver injury and their relation with liver damage, activation of nuclear factor-KB （NF-κB） and tumor necrosis factor-α （TNF-α） expression in the liver. METHODS： Female Sprague-Dawley rats were given fish oil （0.5 mL） along with ethanol or isocaloric dextrose daily via gastrogavage for 4 or 6 wk. Liver injury was assessed using serum alanine aminotransferase （ALT） activity and pathological analysis. Liver malondialdehyde （MDA）, nitric oxide contents, iNOS and eNOS activity were determined. NF-κB p65, iNOS, eNOS and TNF-α protein or mRNA expression in the liver were detected by immunohistochemistry or reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR）. RESULTS： Chronic ethanol gavage for 4 wk caused steatosis, inflammation and necrosis in the liver, and elevated serum ALT activity. Prolonged ethanol administration （6 wk） enhanced the liver damage. These responses were accompanied with increased lipid peroxidation, NO contents, iNOS activity and reduced eNOS activity. NF-κB p65, iNOS and TNF-α protein or mRNA expression were markedly induced after chronic ethanol gavage, whereas eNOS mRNA expression remained unchanged. The enhanced iNOS activity and expression were positively correlated with the liver damage, especially the necro-inflammation, activation of NF-KB, and TNF-α mRNA expression. CONCLUSION： iNOS expression and activity are induced in the liver after chronic ethanol exposure in rats, which are correlated with the liver damage, especially the necro-inflammation, activation of NF-KB and TNF-α expression, eNOS activity is reduced, but its mRNA expression is not affected.

The cyanide anion(CN^(–))is known to be one of the most toxic ***,there is an urgent need to develop a reliable,sensitive,selective,rapid and effective method for the detection of CN^(–).Here,a self-assembly strategy based on pillar[5]arene P5 and azine derivative AZ was used to construct supramolecular sensors,and it was found that the detection effect of CN^(–)was significantly improved by the assembly *** sensitivity of the assembled sensor P5-AZ to CN^(–)is more than 10 times higher than that of *** detect mechanism was further investigated by theoretical calculations and 1H *** results showed that AZ detects CN–by a deprotonation process with fluorescence enhancement,while P5-AZ improves the sensitivity of CN^(–)recognition through hydrogen bonding,anion-πand anion-dipole interactions,as well as the strong bonding ability of the *** assembly P5-AZ has the advantages of low toxicity,high sensitivity,and more importantly,it provides a method to detect CN^(–)sensitivity in the aqueous phase and organisms by host-guest assembly.

Here,through single-molecule real-time sequencing,we present a high-quality genome sequence of the Japanese larch(Larix kaempferi),a conifer species with great value for wood production and ecological *** assembled genome is 10.97 Gb in size,harboring 45,828 protein-coding *** the genome,66.8%consists of repeat sequences,of which long terminal repeat retrotransposons are dominant and make up 69.86%.We find that tandem duplications have been responsible for the expansion of genes involved in transcriptional regulation and stress responses,unveiling their crucial roles in adaptive *** transcriptome analysis reveals that lignin content in *** is mainly determined by the process of monolignol *** expression values of six genes(LkC OMT7,LkC OMT8,LkL AC23,LkL AC102,LkP RX148,and LkP RX166)have significantly positive correlations with lignin *** results indicated that the increased expression of these six genes might be responsible for the high lignin content of the larches’***,this study provides new genome resources for investigating the evolution and biological function of conifer trees,and also offers new insights into wood properties of larches.

The effective materials and methods for detection and separation of pesticides are urgently needed because most of pesticides show very harmful influence on life and environment. As a new kind of macrocyclic host compound, pillar[n]arenes show very good performance in the detection and separation of pesticides, especially for paraquat(PQ). For the pesticide detection and separation materials, their structures determine performance. Therefore, this review summarizes the recent progress of pillar[n]arenes-based materials for detection and separation of pesticides covering single/multi-pillar[n]arenes, pillar[n]arenes-based polymers, frameworks, composites, nanomaterials, *** structure-performance relationships of these materials have been discussed according to the cavity size, the synergistic or collaboration effect, the structure of the polymer or framework, the substrate of the composites and the size of nanomaterials and so on. Based on these, we also look forward to the future and point out the possible way for improving the pesticides detection sensitivity and separation efficiency of this kind of materials.

Gaotaigou borate deposit in Ji'an area, southeastern Jilin, is located in the easten end of Liaoning-Jilin (Liaoji)Proterozoic paleo-rift, which is a medium-sized deposit and makes up 67% of the total borate reserves in Jilin *** original borate ore bodies were formed by sedimentary exhalative process in Paleoproterozoic, but were activated and enriched by later metamorphism. In late stage of metamorphism, hydrothermal fluid of metamorphic origin made wallrocks be altered and the borate ore bodies be reformed. Ore bodies are strictly controlled by strata and their lithologies. In addition, the shape and spatial distribution of ore bodies are also defined by the Gaotaigou syncline. Combined with the ore-controlling factors and mineralizing features, it has been proposed that Gaotaigou borate deposit is a metamorphosed and hydrothermally altered sedimentary exhalative deposit.

In recent twenty years,aggregation-induced emission(AIE),due to its excellent application prospect,has aroused widespread *** development of novel and easy to make AIE luminogens(AIEgens)is an attractive *** this purpose,it is very important to study the structure-property relationship of *** azine derivatives are easy to synthesis and some of them have nice AIE properties,herein,a series of azine derivatives(ADs)were employed as models to study the influence of different functional groups,electronic effects and structures on the AIE properties of azine *** AIE mechanism were studied by single crystal analysis,density functional theory(DFT)calculations and so *** results indicated that the o-hydroxyl aryl substituted azine compounds could show good AIE ***,the AIE properties of o-hydroxyl aryl substituted azine compounds were also influenced by the electronic effects of the aryl groups in the azine *** o-hydroxyl groups could form intramolecular hydrogen bond with imine group,which play key role to restrict the intramolecular rotation of the aryl groups and act as base stone for the AIE process of this kind *** HOMO-LUMO energy gaps of o-hydroxyl substituted azine are smaller than other homologous compounds,which is agree with the proposed AIE ***,thanks to the AIE properties,the o-hydroxy-substituted azines could be used as efficient Al^(3+)and Cu^(2+)fluorescent chemosensors in different *** addition,test strips based on AD10 has been prepared,which can conveniently detect Cu^(2+)in industrial *** research supplied a way for the design of novel easy to make AIEgens through simple azine derivatives.
