Dynamic recrystallization behavior and strengthening mechanism of a novel mo-Ti_(3)AlC_(2) alloy at ultrahigh temperature

Increasing the recrystallization temperature to achieve better high-temperature performance is critical in the development of molybdenum alloys for ultrahightemperature applications,such as the newest generation of multitype high-temperature nuclear *** this study,an innovative strategy was proposed to improve the performance of molybdenum alloys at high temperature by using the two-dimensional MAX(where M is an early transition metal,A is an A-group element and X is C or N)ceramic material Ti_(3)AlC_(2).The relationships between flow stress,strain rate and temperature were *** microstructure,distribution of misorientation and evolution of dislocations in the mo-Ti_(3)AlC_(2) alloy were *** microscopic mechanism of the Ti_(3)AlC_(2) phase in the molybdenum alloy at high temperatures was *** experimental results showed that the peak flow stress of mo-Ti_(3)AlC_(2) at 1600℃ reached 155 MPa,which was161.8% greater than that of pure *** activation energy of thermal deformation of mo-Ti_(3)AlC_(2) was as large as537 kJ·mol~(-1),which was 17.6% more than that of pure *** recrystallization temperature reached 1600℃ or even *** topological reaction of the Ti_(3)AlC_(2) phase consumed a large amount of energy at high temperatures,resulting in increases in the deformation activation *** structures of AlTi_3 and Ti-O Magneli-phase oxides(Ti_nO_(2n-1)) were formed in-situ,which relied on kink bands and interlayer slip,resulting in many dislocations during ***,the special two-dimensional of the structure Ti_(3)AlC_(2) ceramic inhibited the recrystallization behavior of the mo *** results of this study can provide theoretical guidance for the development of a new generation of molybdenum alloys for use in ultrahigh-temperature environments.

molecular field-coupled nanocomputing(molFCN)encodes information in the molecule charge distribution and elaborates it through electrostatic *** the advantageous sub-nanometric size and low-power dissipation,only a few attempts have been made to validate the technology *** of the obstacles is the difficulty in measuring molecule charges to validate information encoding or integrate molFCN with complementary-metal-oxide-semiconductor(CmoS).In this work,we propose a paradigm preserving the advantages of molFCN,which exploits the position of waiving molecules to augment the information *** validate the paradigm,named bend-boosted molFCN,with density functional theory using 6-(ferrocenyl)hexanethiol *** demonstrate that the encoded information can be electrically read by constituting a molecular *** paradigm is compatible with the charge-based molFCN,thus acting as a readout *** obtained results favor the experimental assessment of the molFCN principle through scanning probe microscopy techniques and the design of molFCN-CmoS heterogeneous circuits.

Metastability of π-π stacking between the closed-shell ions of like charges

Planar cations or anions can form stacks in crystals or solutions,where the surrounding or environment plays a decisive role as demonstrated in previous ***,it remains unclear whether these counterintuitive interactions possess any inherent stability or are thoroughly repulsive if the constraint of environment is *** this work,we explored the inherent stability ofπ-πstacking between closed-shell ions of like charges with prototypes derived from experimental *** inherent metastability was identified by the characteristic local minima and the transition states preventing their dissociation and verified by ab initio molecular dynamics(AIMD)*** nature of involved interactions was deciphered with the energy decomposition approach based on the block-localized wavefunction method(BLW-ED).Like the conventional neutralπ-πstacking interactions,electron correlation is the most attractive energy *** it is overturned by the Coulombic repulsion between net charges for all modes of dimerization,resulting in the overall repulsive inter-cation or anion *** from van der Waals interactions were also observed in the reduced density gradient *** origin of the metastability was elucidated by examining the contributions of individual physical factors to the *** inherent metastability originates from the electron correlation,which dramatically increases due to the enhanced overlap between ions from a transition state to its corresponding minimum.

High-order Bragg forward scattering and frequency shift of low-frequency underwater acoustic field by moving rough sea surface

Acoustic scattering modulation caused by an undulating sea surface on the space-time dimension seriously affects underwater detection and target ***,underwater acoustic scattering modulation from a moving rough sea surface is studied based on integral equation and parabolic *** with the principles of grating and constructive interference,the mechanism of this acoustic scattering modulation is *** periodicity of the interference of moving rough sea surface will lead to the interference of the scattering field at a series of discrete angles,which will form comb-like and frequency-shift characteristics on the intensity and the frequency spectrum of the acoustic scattering field,respectively,which is a high-order Bragg scattering *** the conventional Doppler effect,the frequency shifts of the Bragg scattering phenomenon are multiples of the undulating sea surface frequency and are independent of the incident sound wave ***,even if a low-frequency underwater acoustic field is incident,it will produce obvious frequency ***,under the action of ideal sinusoidal waves,swells,fully grown wind waves,unsteady wind waves,or mixed waves,different moving rough sea surfaces create different acoustic scattering processes and possess different frequency shift *** the swell wave,which tends to be a single harmonic wave,the moving rough sea surface produces more obvious high-order scattering and frequency *** same phenomena are observed on the sea surface under fully grown wind waves,however,the frequency shift slightly offsets the multiple peak frequencies of the wind wave *** with the swell and fully-grown wind waves,the acoustic scattering and frequency shift are not obvious for the sea surface under unsteady wind waves.

Unknown system dynamics estimator-based impedance control for lower limb exoskeleton with enhanced performance

In this article, an unknown system dynamics estimator-based impedance control method is proposed for the lower limb exoskeleton to stimulate the tracking flexibility with the terminal target position when suffering parametric inaccuracies and unexpected disturbances. To reinforce the robust performance, via constructing the filtering operation-based dynamic relation, i.e., invariant manifold, the unknown system dynamics estimators are employed to maintain the accurate perturbation identification in both the hip and knee subsystem. Besides, a funnel control technique is designed to govern the convergence process within a minor overshoot and a higher steady-state precision. Meanwhile, an interactive complaint result can be obtained with the aid of the impedance control, where the prescribed terminal trajectory can be adjusted into the interaction variable-based target position by the force–position mapping, revealing the dynamic influence between the impedance coefficient (stiffness and damping) and the adjusted position magnitude. A sufficient stability analysis verifies the ultimately uniformly bounded results of all the error signals, and even the angle errors can be regulated within the predefined funnel boundary in the whole convergence. Finally, some simulations are provided to demonstrate the validity and superiority including the enhanced interaction flexibility and robustness.

Extra-pair paternity(EPP)is commonly found in socially monogamous birds,especially in small passerine birds,and there are interspecific and intraspecific variations in the extent of *** Chestnut-vented Nuthatch(Sitta nagaensis)is a socially monogamous passerine bird,and verifying whether this species has EPP relies on parentage *** is not known to have *** this study,we developed SNP markers of this species that are informative for parentage analysis from double digest restriction site-associated DNA sequencing(ddRAD-seq)data.A panel consisting of 50 SNP markers,with a mean heterozygosity of 0.343,was used to resolve 95% of nestlings to *** combined exclusion probabilities for the first parent and second parent were 0.991 and 0.9999,*** panel of SNP markers is a powerful tool for parentage assignments in *** addition,we found that three offspring(7.9%)from three nests(23.1%)were the result of extra-pair fertilization out of 38 offspring in 13 *** study provided information on parentage analysis that has not been reported before in *** also supplemented the understudied EPP behavior of birds in Asia,contributing to a general understanding of the EPP behaviors of birds.
