Both geniposide （Ge） and natural borneol （NB） are bioactive substances derived from traditional Chinese herbs. The effect of NB on the pharmacokinetics of Ge in rat via intranasal administration was investigated. The concentrations of Ge in plasma were determined by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography （HPLC） after intranasal administration of Ge （4 mg/kg） alone and combined with different doses （0.08, 0.8, and 8 mg/kg） of NB. The intravenous administration was given as a reference （4 mg/kg of Ge and 8 mg/kg of NB）. Compared with the intravenous administration, the absolute bioavailability of Ge was 76.14% through intranasal administration combined with NB. Compared with the intranasal administration of Ge alone, Ge could be absorbed rapidly in the nasal cavity combined with NB; the peak time of Ge in the plasma became shorter （3-5 min vs. 40 min）; the peak concentration became higher （1.32-4.25 IJg/ml vs. 0.67 ug/ml）; and, the relative bioavailability of Ge combined with NB was 90.3%-237.8%. The enhancing effect was attenuated as the dose of NB decreased. The results indicated that NB can accelerate the absorption of Ge dose-dependently in the nasal cavity.

Currently,the combination of photothermal therapy（PTT） and photodynamic therapy（PDT） has emerged as a powerful technique for cancer ***,most examples of combined PTT and PDT reported use multi-component nanocomposites under excitation of separate wavelength,resulting in complex treatment *** this work,a novel theranostic nanoplatform（SiNcOH-DSPE-PEG（NH2）NPs） has been successfully developed by coating silicon 2,3-naphthalocyanine dihydroxide（SiNcOH）with DSPE-PEG and DSPE-PEG-NH2 for photoacoustic（PA） imaging-guided PTT and PDT tumor ablation for the first *** as-prepared single-agent SiNcOH-DSPE-PEG（NH2） NPs not only have good water solubility and biocompatibility,but also exhibit high photothermal conversion efficiency and singlet oxygen generation capability upon 808 nm NIR laser *** addition,owing to their high absorption at NIR region,the SiNcOH-DSPE-PEG（NH2） NPs can also be employed as an effective diagnostic nanoagent for photoacoustic（PA） *** vitro and in vivo experimental results clearly indicated that the simultaneously combined PTT and PDT under the guidance of PA imaging with single NIR laser excitation can effectively kill cancer cells or eradicate tumor *** facile synthesis and high efficiency in cancer treatment by SiNcOH-DSPE-PEG（NH2） NPs into consideration,our study provides a promising strategy to realize molecular imaging-guided combination therapy.

The conversion of waste polylactic acid（PLA） plastics into high-value-added chemicals through electrochemical methods is a promising and sustainable ***,developing efficient and highly selective catalysts for lactic acid oxidation reaction（LAOR） and understanding the reaction process are ***,we report the electrooxidation of waste PLA to acetate at a high current density of 100 mA cm-2 with high Faraday efficiency（～95%） and excellent stability（>100 h） over a nickel selenide nanosheet *** addition,a total Faraday efficiency of up to 190% was achieved for carboxylic acids,including acetic acid and formic acid,by coupling with the cathodic CO2reduction *** situ experimental results and theoretical simulations revealed that the catalytic activity center of LAOR was dynamically formed NiOOH species,and the surface-adsorbed SeOxspecies accelerated the formation of Ni3+species,thus promoting catalytic *** mechanism of lactic acid electrooxidation was further *** acid was dehydrogenated to produce pyruvate first and then formed CH3CO due to preferential C-C bond cleavage,resulting in the presence of *** work demonstrated a sustainable method for recycling waste PLA and CO2into high-value-added products.

Statistics and Analysis of Lightning Flashovers of Transmission Lines During 2000-2007

Lightning stroke is one of the important causes of the accidents that occur on transmission lines. With the development of power system, the proportion of outages on transmission lines because of lightning stroke also increases. And according to the lightning accidents results, the lightning stroke characteristics is related to the time factors tightly. In order to analyze the correlativity between the lightning flashover amount and the time factors, a-bout 425 times lightning flashover on 187 lines in 10 power supply companies of 220 kV and 500 kV transmission lines during 2000～2007 are investigated in this paper. The correlativity between the lightning flashover amount and the time factors is analyzed. According to the lightning stroke accidents investigation records, the lightning flashover amount of transmission line increases from the year of 2000 to 2007. In each year lightning flashovers mostly happen in the month of June, July and August. Similarly in each day the flashover amount also varies with the time of day obviously. These lightning flashovers mainly occur during 14:00～21:00 in the afternoon. The analysis results in this paper have a good agreement with the meteorological observations and lightning detection data of lightning location system (LLS). And these results provide good reference for the lightning protection work in power system.

It is challenging for aqueous Zn-ion batteries(ZIBs)to achieve comparable low-temperature(low-T)performance due to the easy-frozen electrolyte and severe Zn ***,an aqueous electrolyte with a low freezing point and high ionic conductivity is *** with molecular dynamics simulation and multi-scale interface analysis(time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry threedimensional mapping and in-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method),the temperature independence of the V_(2)O_(5)cathode and Zn anode is observed to be ***,dominated by the solvent structure of the designed electrolyte at low temperatures,vanadium dissolution/shuttle is significantly inhibited,and the zinc dendrites caused by this electrochemical crosstalk are greatly relieved,thus showing an abnormal temperature inversion *** the disclosure and improvement of the above phenomena,the designed Zn||V_(2)O_(5)full cell delivers superior low-T performance,maintaining almost 99%capacity retention after 9500 cycles(working more than 2500 h)at-20°*** work proposes a kind of electrolyte suitable for low-T ZIBs and reveals the inverse temperature dependence of the Zn anode,which might offer a novel perspective for the investigation of low-T aqueous battery systems.

A Fluctuation Test for Structural Change Detection in Heterogeneous Panel Data Models

Structural change in panel data is a widespread phenomena. This paper proposes a fluctuation test to detect a structural change at an unknown date in heterogeneous panel data models with or without common correlated effects. The asymptotic properties of the fluctuation statistics in two cases are developed under the null and local alternative hypothesis. Furthermore, the consistency of the change point estimator is proven. Monte Carlo simulation shows that the fluctuation test can control the probability of type I error in most cases, and the empirical power is high in case of small and moderate sample sizes. An application of the procedure to a real data is presented.
