Efficient electrocatalysts are vital to large-current hydrogen production in commercial water splitting for green energy ***,a novel heterophase engineering strategy is described to produce polymorphic CoSe_(2)*** composition of the electrocatalysts consisting of both cubic CoSe_(2)(c-CoSe_(2))and orthorhombic CoSe_(2)(o-CoSe_(2))phases can be controlled *** results demonstrate that junction-induced spin-state modulation of Co atoms enhances the adsorption of intermediates and accelerates charge transfer resulting in superior large-current hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)***,the CoSe_(2)based heterophase catalyst with the optimal c-CoSe_(2)content requires an overpotential of merely 240 mV to achieve 1.000 mA·cm^(-2)as well as a Tafel slope of 50.4 mV·dec^(-1..Furthermore,the electrocatalyst can maintain a large current density of 1.500 mA·cm^(-2)for over 320 h without *** results reveal the advantages and potential of heterophase junction engineering pertaining to design and fabrication of low-cost transition metal catalysts for large-current water splitting.

Anther dehiscence is a crucial event in plant reproduction,tightly regulated and dependent on the lignification of the anther *** this study,we investigated the rapid lignification process that ensures timely anther dehiscence in *** findings reveal that endothecium lignification can be divided into two distinct *** Phase Ⅰ,lignin precursors are synthesized without polymerization,while Phase Ⅱ involves simultaneous synthesis of lignin precursors and *** transcription factors MYB26,NST1.2,and ARF1. specifically regulate the pathway responsible for the synthesis and polymerization of lignin monomers in Phase Ⅱ.MYB26-NST1.2 is the key regulatory pathway responsible for endothecium lignification,while ARF1. facilitates this process by interacting with ***,our results demonstrate that the lignification of the endothecium,which occurs within approximately 26 h,is much faster than that of the vascular *** findings provide valuable insights into the regulation mechanism of rapid lignification in the endothecium,which enables timely anther dehiscence and successful pollen release during plant reproduction.

Pt-Ir alloy is potential superalloys used above 1.00℃because of their high strength and creep ***,the ductility of Pt-Ir alloy has rapidly deteriorated with the increase of Ir,resulting in poor *** work quantitatively evaluated the solid solution strengthening(SSS)and grain refinement strengthening(GRS)of Pt-Ir alloy using first-principles calculations combined with experimental ***,the stretching force constants in the second nearest neighbor region(SFC^(2nd))of pure Ir(1.3.7 eV·nm^(-2))are 3.40 times that of pure Pt(57.0 eV·nm^(-2)),i.e.,the interatomic interaction is greatly enhanced with the increase of Ir content,which leads to the decrease of ductility,and modulus misfit plays a dominant role in ***,the physical mechanisms responsible for the hardness(H_(V))of Pt-Ir alloy,using the power-law-scaled function of electron work function coupled SSS and GRS,are attributed to the electron redistribution caused by different Ir ***,a thorough assessment of the thermodynamic characteristics of Pt-Ir binary alloy was conducted,culminating in development of a mapping model that effectively relates enmposition,temperature and *** results revealed that the compressive strength incrcases with the Ir content,and the highest strength was observed in Pt_(0.25)Ir_(0.75).This study provides valuable insights into the Pt-Ir alloy system.

Disitamab vedotin combined with apatinib in gastric cancer: A case report and review of literature

BACKGROUND In patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-overex-pressing gastric cancer(GC),the combination of HER2 targeting and a standard first-line chemotherapy regimen has been demonstrated to significantly improve their ***,in a proportion of patients,cancer progresses within a short period of time,and there is currently no standard treatment after disease *** SUMMARY This study presents a case of a 51.year-old male with advanced GC who un-derwent radical resection(Billroth type II subtotal gastrectomy and gastrojejun-ostomy)and resection of liver *** staining revealed a HER2 score of 2+,a dMMR status,and a Ki67 proliferation index of 30%to 40%.The gene test results indicated the presence of ERBB2 amplification and a PD-L1.expression level of less than 5%.Since December 2021.the patient has experienced disease progression during both first-line(two cycles of KN026 combined with KN046)and second-line(five cycles of nivolumab combined with trastuzumab and SOX chemotherapy)treatment *** patient's prognosis following the first and second lines of treatment was unfavorable,with pro-gression occurring in a relatively short *** third-line therapy,disitamab vedotin(RC48)plus apatinib was *** the time of this report,the patient had achieved a progression-free survival(PFS)of 25.8 months,which exceeded the median survival time for patients with advanced *** Despite the unfavorable prognosis associated with advanced GC,the imple-mentation of personalized treatment approaches may still prove beneficial for select *** patients with HER2-positive GC with extensive metastatic involvement,the use of the HER2-targeted combination with apatinib has demonstrated the potential to prolong both PFS and overall survival.

Impact of frailty on short-term postoperative outcomes in patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery:A systematic review and meta-analysis
