Aggregate-induced emission luminogens(AIEgens) have been widely used in biological imaging, chemical sensing, and disease treatments. The rational design and construction of AIEgens have received considerable research interests during the last few years. Herein, molecular docking-aided AIEgen design has been reasonably proposed and AIEgen TBQZY with excellent ~1O_(2) generation ability has been synthesized. The newly developed TBQZY could efficiently kill S. epidermidis and methicillinresistant S. epidermidis(MRSE) by tightly binding to bacteria and triggering the accumulation of ~1O_(2) in bacteria. TBQZY specifically regulated the immune system and polarized macrophages from M1 to M2 to accelerate the elimination of biofilm in vivo. In addition, healing acceleration was observed in chronic wounds treated with TBQZY, and side effects were ***, TBQZY had extraordinary potential for combating drug-resistant bacteria in the clinical setting. This research not only provided new concepts for the design of AIEgens, but also shed some lights on the discovery of drugs against drug-resistant bacteria.

Meta label associated loss for fine-grained visual recognition

Recently, intensive attempts have been made to design robust models for fine-grained visual recognition, most notably are the impressive gains for training with noisy labels by incorporating a reweighting strategy into a meta-learning framework. However, it is limited to up or downweighting the contribution of an instance for label reweighting approaches in the learning process. To solve this issue, a novel noise-tolerant method with auxiliary web data is proposed. Specifically, first, the associations made from embeddings of well-labeled data with those of web data and back at the same class are measured. Next, its association probability is employed as a weighting fusion strategy into angular margin-based loss, which makes the trained model robust to noisy datasets. To reduce the influence of the gap between the well-labeled and noisy web data, a bridge schema is proposed via the corresponding loss that encourages the learned embeddings to be coherent. Lastly, the formulation is encapsulated into the meta-learning framework, which can reduce the overfitting of models and learn the network parameters to be noise-tolerant. Extensive experiments are performed on benchmark datasets, and the results clearly show the superiority of the proposed method over existing state-of-the-art approaches.

Research on the effect of the heavy nuclei amount on the temperature reactivity coefficient in a small modular molten salt reactor

Small modular thorium-based graphite-moderated molten salt reactors (smTMSRs), which combine the advantages of small modular reactors and molten salt reactors, are regarded as a wise development path to speed deployment time. In a smTMSR, low enriched uranium and thorium fuels are used in once-through mode, which makes a marked difference in their neutronic properties compared with the case when a conventional molten salt breeder reactor is used. This study investigated the temperature reactivity coefficient (TRC) in a smTMSR, which is mainly affected by the molten salt volume fraction (VF) and the heavy nuclei concentration in the fuel salt (HN). The fourfactor formula method and the reaction rate method were used to indicate the reasons for the TRC change, including the fuel density effect, the fuel Doppler effect, and the graphite thermal scattering effect. The results indicate that only the fuel density has a positive effect on the TRC in the undermoderated region. Thermal scattering from both salt and graphite has a significant negative influence on the TRC in the overmoderated region. The maximal effective multiplication factor, which shows the highest fuel utilization, is located at 10% VF and 12 mol% HN and is still located in the negative TRC region. In addition, on increasing the heavy nuclei amount from 2 mol% HN to 12 mol% HN (VF = 10%), the total TRC undergoes an obvious change from - 11 to - 3 pcm/K, which implies that the change in the HN caused by the fuel feed online should be small to avoid potential trouble in the reactivity control scheme.

Investigating the elliptic anisotropy of identified particles in p-Pb collisions with a multi-phase transport model

The elliptic azimuthal anisotropy coefficient(v_(2))of the identified particles at midrapidity(|η|<0.8)was investigated in p-Pb collisions at√s_(NN)=5.02 TeV using a multi-phase transport model(AMPT).The calculations of differential v_(2)based on the advanced flow extraction method of light flavor hadrons(pions,kaons,protons,andΛ)in small collision systems were extended to a wider transverse momentum(p_(T))range of up to 8 GeV/c for the first *** string-melting version of the AMPT model provides a good description of the measured p_(T)-differential v_(2)of the mesons but exhibits a slight deviation from the baryon v_(2).In addition,we observed the features of mass ordering at low p_(T)and the approximate number-of-constituentquark(NCQ)scaling at intermediate p_(T).Moreover,we demonstrate that hadronic rescattering does not have a significant impact on v_(2)in p-Pb collisions for different centrality selections,whereas partonic scattering dominates in generating the elliptic anisotropy of the final *** study provides further insight into the origin of collective-like behavior in small collision systems and has referential value for future measurements of azimuthal anisotropy.

Data augmentation is an important task of using existing data to expand data *** generative countermeasure network technology to realize data augmentation has the advantages of high-quality generated samples,simple training,and fewer restrictions on the number of generated ***,in the field of transmission line insulator images,the freely synthesized samples are prone to produce fuzzy backgrounds and disordered samples of the main insulator *** solve the above problems,this paper uses the cycle generative adversarial network(Cycle-GAN)used for domain conversion in the generation countermeasure network as the initial framework and uses the self-attention mechanism and channel attention mechanism to assist the conversion to realize the mutual conversion of different insulator *** attention module with prior knowledge is used to build the generation countermeasure network,and the generative adversarial network(GAN)model with local controllable generation is built to realize the directional generation of insulator belt defect *** experimental results show that the samples obtained by this method are improved in a number of quality indicators,and the quality effect of the samples obtained is excellent,which has a reference value for the data expansion of insulator images.
