Medical image segmentation plays an important role in clinical diagnosis,quantitative analysis,and treatment *** 2015,U-Net-based approaches have been widely used formedical image *** purpose of the U-Net expansive path is to map low-resolution encoder feature maps to full input resolution feature ***,the consecutive deconvolution and convolutional operations in the expansive path lead to the loss of some high-level *** high-level information can make the segmentationmore *** this paper,we propose MU-Net,a novel,multi-path upsampling convolution network to retain more high-level *** MU-Net mainly consists of three parts:contracting path,skip connection,and multi-expansive *** proposed MU-Net architecture is evaluated based on three different medical imaging *** experiments show that MU-Net improves the segmentation performance of U-Net-based methods on different *** the same time,the computational efficiency is significantly improved by reducing the number of parameters by more than half.

The aims of this study were threefold:1)study the research gap in carpark and price index via big data and natural language processing,2)examine the research gap of carpark indices,and 3)construct carpark price indices via repeat sales methods and predict carpark indices via the *** researching the keyword“carpark”in Google Scholar,the largest electronic academic database that coversWeb of Science and Scopus indexed articles,this study obtained 999 articles and book chapters from 1910 to *** confirmed that most carpark research threw light on multi-storey carparks,management and ventilation systems,and reinforced concrete *** most common research method was case *** price index research,many previous studies focused on consumer,stock,press and futures,with many keywords being related to finance and *** indicated that there is no research predicting carpark price indices based on an AutoML *** study constructed repeat sales indices for 18 districts in Hong Kong by using 34,562 carpark transaction records from December 2009 to June ***’s carpark price was about four times that of yuen Long’s carpark price,indicating the considerable carpark price differences inHong *** research evidenced the features that affected the carpark price indices models most:gold price ranked the first in all 19 models;oil price or Link stock price ranked second depending on the district,and carpark affordability ranked third.

Association between Self-Rated Health and Depressive Symptoms in Rural Chinese Adults:A Cohort Study Based on Propensity Score Matching

Health status is widely regarded as a correlate of depressive ***,health assessments based on clinical diagnosis in rural areas with poor medical conditions are very ***-rated health(SRH)serves as a simple and convenient evaluation indicator,which may be used as an independent predictor of depressive *** confirm the relationship between SRH and depressive symptoms in rural adults,a longitudinal survey of rural households in China was conducted using the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)from 2012 to *** score matching and logistic regression analysis were used to explore the *** data cleansing,3,127 pairs(6,254 participants)aged 16 and older followed for 4 years were enrolled,of which the average age was(50.02±14.19)years old,and the proportions of male and female were 48.64%and 51.36%,*** incidence rate of depressive symptoms within 4 years was 30.86%(95%CI:29.24–32.48)in the group with fair or poor SRH,and 21.59%(95%CI:20.14–23.03)in the group with good *** difference between the two groups was statistically significant(χ^(2)=69.51,P<0.001).The results of univariate unconditional logistic regression analysis showed that there was a correlation between SRH and depressive symptoms in rural adults aged 30 and above(OR=1.65,95%CI:1.46–1.85,P<0.001).Thus,a simple and practical assessment tool based on SRH and other indicators should be established for early prevention and intervention in rural primary mental health care.

Formaldehyde is a common atmospheric pollutant produced in industrial production and daily ***,the traditional semiconductor formaldehyde gas sensor cannot work at room temperature,which limits its practical ***,developing high-performance gas sensors for rapidly and accurately detecting formaldehyde at room temperature is an important *** this study,Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx/SnO_(2)heterostructures were constructed,which could selectively detect formaldehyde at room temperature with a response value of 29.16%(10×10^(-6)).In addition,the sensor shows a remarkable theoretical detection limit of 5.09×10^(-9)and good longterm *** functional theory(DFT)simulations reveal that SnO_(2)nano spheres provide the majority of adsorption sites that strongly interact with ***,Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)acting as a conductive layer facilitates the transfer of charge carriers so that they show a sensing response to formaldehyde at room ***,the formation of p-n heterostructures between SnO_(2)and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)boosts the Schottky barrier at the interface,which is the critical factor in enhancing the sensing properties by turning the Schottky barrier upon introducing formaldehyde *** perspective is expected to provide instructive guidance for utilizing MXene/metal oxide nanocomposites to improve the gas sensing performance at room temperature.

Do Research Incentives Promote Researchers’Mental Health?

Background:Researchers have a higher risk of anxiety and depression than the general population,so it is important to promote researchers’mental ***:Based on the data from 3210 global researchers surveyed by the journal Nature in 2021,confirmatory factor analysis,OLS regression and other regressions were used to explore the research incentive dimensions and their effects on researchers’mental ***:(1)Material incentive factors,work-family life balance factors,good organizational environment and spiritual motivation had significant positive effects on researchers’mental health.(2)The spiritual motivation could better promote researchers’mental health than the other factors.(3)Heterogeneity analysis showed that material incentive factors and spiritual motivation created more significant stimulating effects on the mental health of humanities and social sciences ***-family life balance factors were more effective in promoting the mental health of the mid-career group and the overtime ***:Application of the four research incentives resulted in lower likelihood of anxiety or depression among researchers,and special attention should be paid to the role of the spiritual *** order to promote researchers’mental health,different incentives should be applied to different researcher groups to better improve researchers’mental health.

The counterion-mediated hydrogen bonding(CMHB)is related to the hydrogen bonding between bound counterions and polyelectrolyte chains in polyelectrolyte systems,where the counterions can both electrostatically bind to the charged groups of polyelectrolyte chains and act as hydrogen bond donors or acceptors to form hydrogen bonds with the hydrogen bond sites associated with polyelectrolyte chains simultaneously.A large number of literatures illustrate that strong polyelectrolytes(SPs)are insensitive to pH,which severely limmits the applications of SPs as smart ***,our studies have demonstrated that the CMHB makes SPs *** perspective discusses the mechanism of pH responsiveness of SPs and the pH-tunable properties of SPs,based on the pH-controlled CMHB *** future research directions on the pH responsiveness of SPs are also discussed *** is anticipated that the study of the pH responsiveness of SPs not only will provide a new understanding of the fundamental properties of SPs,but also will greatly expand the applications of SPs in the field of smart materials.

Orthogonal time-frequency space(OTFS)is a new modulation technique proposed in recent years for high Doppler wireless *** solve the parameter estimation problem of the OTFS-integrated radar and communications system,we propose a parameter estimation method based on sparse reconstruction preprocessing to reduce the computational effort of the traditional weighted subspace fitting(WSF)***,an OTFS-integrated echo signal model is ***,the echo signal is transformed to the time domain to separate the target angle from the range,and the range and angle of the detected target are coarsely estimated by using the sparse reconstruction ***,the WSF algorithm is used to refine the search with the coarse estimate at the center to obtain an accurate *** simulations demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed parameterestimation algorithm.

This article proposes a multistage soft decision equalization （SDE） technique for block transmission over frequency selective multi-input multi-output （MIMO） channels. Using the Toeplitz structure, the general signal model can be converted into a series of small-sized sub-signal models. For each sub-signal model, soft interference cancellation （SIC） is used firstly to remove partial effects of interfering symbols, then max-log-map sphere decoder is performed to get the desired a posteriori information. Simulation shows that with lower complexity the proposed method outperforms the probability data association SDE and the Schnorr-Euchner sphere decoder.
