Charge strippers play an essential role in heavy-ion accelerators by stripping the projectile ions to higher charge states to enhance the acceleration efficiency downstream of the *** the high-energy mode of the booster ring(BRing)of the high-intensity heavy-ion accelerator facility,the pre-accelerated ions from the iLinac will be stripped by a carbon foil to higher charge states and then injected into the *** key parameters of the stripper and stripped ions were calculated,and the influence of stripping on the beam quality was *** get high stripping efficiencies,the foil thicknesses and resultant charge state distributions for the typical ions were determined by the code *** equilibrium thickness was obtained for the U beam,while the stripper thicknesses for the Xe and Kr beams were determined based on a compromise between the stripped charge states and the stripping *** energy loss,energy straggling,and emittance growth due to stripping have a non-negligible impact on the transport of the stripped beams and the injection of the ***,these parameters were simulated by *** addition,the foil’s temperature evolution,which greatly affects the foil lifetime,was simulated by *** maximum temperature of the foil bombarded by the U and Xe beams with the nominal parameters will exceed the safe value in terms of the impact of evaporation on the foil’s *** the foil temperature constraint,the highest tolerable beam intensity and the injected ion number into the ring were derived for different beam *** results of this paper will present important reference data for the optimization design and commissioning of the beamline and injection to the BRing for the stripped ions.

Due to the rapid advancement of technologies,there has been a significant increase in the discharge of industrial wastewater,and freshwater is becoming a scarce ***,research on solar evaporators is mainly focused on the efficient production of clean water,with less emphasis on the removal of residual pollutants remaining in the original *** this study,problems,including the difficult recovery of catalyst powder and the difficult removal of floating organic matter are solved by co-depositing low-surface-tension zirconia particles and bismuth tungstate onto the floating *** and melamine sponges were combined to solve the problem that traditional hydrogels lack mechanical *** excellent water-repellent effect can be seen from the contact angle between the liquid globule and canvas/felt,which is greater than 155°.The steam generation rate of the assembled evaporation system is 1.78 kg m^(-2)h^(-1),and its purification efficiency for methyl orange and rhodamine B exceeds 99%.This study presents a novel strategy for treating wastewater contaminated with organic dyes,aiming to solve problems including environmental damage,water pollution,and water scarcity.

Background This study was aimed to evaluate the stigma and quality of life(QoL)in adult patients with epilepsy(PWEs)and explore the relationship between stigma and *** Two hundred and ninety-eight PWEs admitted to the Epilepsy Center of the First Affiliated Hospitalof Chongqing Medical University during September 2020 and March 2021 were enrolled in this *** participantscompleted self-reported questionnaires including the Stigma Scale for Epilepsy and the Quality of Life in EpilepsyInventory-31(QOLIE-31).Results A total of 146(49%)PWEs reported an experience of *** total score of QOLIE-31 and the individualscores of seven subscales(worry about new seizures,emotion,well-being,energy and fatigue,cognitive impairment,medication effect,and social function)were significantly decreased in these patients(P<0.001).Multivariate stepwiselinear regression analysis showed that the annual household income per capita,the number of antiseizure medica-tions and stigma had statistically significant effects on QoL(P<0.05).Among them,stigma had the most significantnegative *** Nearly half of PWEs have experienced ***,lower household income per capita,and polyp-harmacy treatment are associated with poorer *** has the most obvious negative impact.

The effects of Y_(2)O_(3) on the microstructure, microhardness, wear resistance, high-temperature oxidation resistance, hot corrosion resistance, and electrochemical corrosion behaviour of CoCrFeNiTiNb high entropy alloy coatings formed on Ti-6Al-4V alloy surfaces were studied. The results show that the addition of Y_(2)O_(3) changes the proportion of the phase but does not change its type. The average grain size is only 1/4.7 of that of the high entropy alloy(HEA) coating, and the fine-grained strengthening leads to increases in the microhardness and wear resistance of 21.8% and 26.9%, respectively. The addition of Y_(2)O_(3) enhances the denseness and bonding properties of the oxide and corrosion product layers, reducing the oxidation and hot corrosion rates by 60.3% and 40.3%, respectively. The addition of Y_(2)O_(3) doubles the corrosion resistance which is attributed to the refinement of the grains, the increased proportion of HCP and TiN, and the weakening of galvanic coupling corrosion.

Melamine is one of the most frequently detected adulterants in dairy *** current study proposes a surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)-based analytical tool for fast and reliable screening of melamine in bovine milk.A hand-held Raman spectrometer was used in conjunction with a substrate composed of silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)that was 2D printed onto glass fiber(GF)filter *** optimized conditions,a sensitive and fingerprint-like signal at 674 cm^(-1) was *** AgNPs/GF substrate exhibited high sensitivity to melamine in milk down to 1.9498×10^(-5)mg/mL,which is well below the USA and EU safety limits(2.5×10^(-3)mg/mL).Remarkably,the proposed technology was also highly reproducible,showing spot-to-spot and block-to-block variations below 3.3%and 4.9%at 674 cm^(-1) in Raman intensity,*** characteristic peak intensity and concentration of melamine showed an acceptable linear relationship(R^(2)=0.9909)within the range of 0.0001-1 mg/***,the method established in this study can provide an efficient and effective method for the quantitative target screening and detection of melamine in dairy products.

The 42 kg industrial H13 castings were prepared by different super-gravity fields with multi-rotation speeds,and the distribution of oxide inclusions in the castings was *** addition,the inward movement Reynolds number and inward movement time of oxide inclusions as well as the solidification time of molten steel at different positions in the castings were calculated to clarify the removal mechanism of oxide inclusions in super-gravity *** results show that the large size(i.e.,greater than 10μm)oxide inclusions are mainly concentrated in the inner and outer parts of the super-gravity castings with constant rotation speed(500 r min^(-1))and five-stage rotation speeds(500,600,750,850,and 950 r min^(-1)),respectively,while there are no large oxide inclusions in the super-gravity castings with three-stage rotation speeds(500,600,and 750 r min^(-1)).Although an increase in the particle size of inclusion and the rotation speed in super-gravity field is conducive to the increase in the inward movement Reynolds number of oxide inclusions and reduction in the inward movement time of oxide inclusions,it will reduce the local solidification time of molten *** the range of the rotation speed studied,the super-gravity field with three-stage rotation speeds has the best effect on the removal of inclusions in H13 molten steel.

The service life of a blast furnace depends largely on the degree of damage to the carbon brick in the *** brick and ramming material in the hearth of a 1780 m3 blast furnace after shutdown were sampled and *** was found that the substances in the cracks of the carbon brick near and above the taphole were ZnO and Zn_(2)SiO_(4),whereas the substances in the cracks of the carbon brick below the taphole were *** reaction of Zn with CO,SiO_(2),and Fes generates ZnO,Zn_(2)SiO_(4),and ZnS,resulting in volume expansion,which is an important reason for the cracking of carbon ***,several obvious Zn vapor flow channels were found in the ramming material,through which Zn vapor could enter the carbon brick,causing damage to the carbon *** the compactness of the ramming material is beneficial to preventing Zn vapor from entering the carbon brick through the voids in the ramming material,reducing the destructive effect of Zn on the carbon brick and further extending the service life of the blast furnace.
