Mg–9Li–3Al–1.6Y alloys were prepared through mixture method. The microstructure, mechanical properties, and corrosion resistance of the as-cast and asextruded alloys were studied by optical microscopy（OM）,scanning electronic microscopy（SEM）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, mechanical properties testing, and electrochemical measurement. The as-cast Mg–9Li–3Al–1.6Y alloy with the average grain size of 325 lm is composed of b-Li matrix, block a-Mg, and granule Al2Y phases. After extrusion, the grain size of the as-cast alloy is obviously refined and reaches to 75 lm; the strength and elongation of the extruded alloy are enhanced by 17.20 % and49.45 %, respectively, owing to their fine microstructure and reduction of casting defects. The as-extruded alloy shows better corrosion resistance compared to the as-cast one, which may be related to the low stored energy and dislocation density in the extruded alloy, also the homogenization treatment before extrusion.

中国中、西部城市或城镇居民区有很多位于山前冲积扇形成的冲积平原之上,揭露冲积扇的地质结构和稳定性对城市建设规划和土地合理利用具有重要意义。六盘山东麓冲积扇上分布有固原市城镇居民区和村落,人口密集。冲积扇发育多套事件沉积层,记录了构造活动和气候转变控制下冲积扇的活动性特征。本文通过野外地质调查、光释光测年、可控源音频大地电测深和常规氡气测量等手段,揭露了六盘山东麓冲积扇地层结构,厘定了晚更新世以来两期事件沉积层,沉积时代分别为~43.33 ka B.P.和22.92~20.72 ka B.P.。基于可控源音频大地电磁测量和常规氡气测量结果,揭示在海原断裂带和清水河断裂活动的影响下,六盘山东麓冲积扇至今仍存在较高活动性。该研究结果可以为六盘山地区地壳稳定性评价、地质灾害防治和工程设施建设提供基础数据支撑。

We numerically investigate the effects of ion-to-electron temperature ratio T_i/T_e and temperature gradient ratioη_i/η_e on resistive ballooning inodes(RBMs)under tokamak edge plasma *** results show that the growth rates of the RBMs exhibit the characteristic of a quite broad poloidal wavenumber spectrum in the cold ion *** growth rate spectrum becomes narrower and the peak of the spectrum shifts from the short to long wavelength side with increasing T_i/T_e andη_i/η_*** electron temperature gradient has a very weak effect on the stability of ***,the ion-to-electron temperature ratio and the temperature gradient ratio have strong stabilizing effects on short-wavelength RBMs,while they have relatively weak effects on long-wavelength RBMs.

To investigate the relationship between grain sizes, seepage capacity, and oil-displacement efficiency in the Liushagang Formation of the Beibuwan Basin, this study identifies the multistage pore-throat structure as a crucial factor through a comparison of oil displacement in microscopic pore-throat experiments. The two-phase flow evaluation method based on the Li-Horne model is utilized to effectively characterize and quantify the seepage characteristics of different reservoirs, closely relating them to the distribution of microscopic pores and throats. It is observed that conglomerate sandstones at different stages exhibit significant heterogeneity and noticeable differences in seepage capacity, highlighting the crucial role played by certain large pore throats in determining seepage capacity and oil displacement efficiency. Furthermore, it was found that the displacement effects of conglomeratic sandstones with strong heterogeneity were inferior to those of conventional homogeneous sandstone, as evidenced by multiple displacement experiments conducted on core samples with varying granularities and flooding systems. Subsequently, core-based experiments on associated gas flooding after water flooding were conducted to address the challenge of achieving satisfactory results in a single displacement mode for reservoirs with significant heterogeneity. The results indicate that the oil recovery rates for associated gas flooding after water flooding increased by 7.3%-16.4% compared with water flooding alone at a gas-oil ratio of approximately 7000 m^(3)/m^(3). Therefore, considering the advantages of gas flooding in terms of seepage capacity, oil exchange ratio, and the potential for two-phase production, gas flooding is recommended as an energy supplement mode for homogeneous reservoirs in the presence of sufficient gas source and appropriate tectonic angle. BACKGROUND Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma(MPeM)is a rare cancer with a poor prognosis at advanced stage,and the standard first-line treatment for inoperable patients is *** combining programmed cell death 1(PD-1)inhibitors with chemotherapy is generally considered safe and effective in several malignant solid tumors,there are few reports regarding initial immunochemotherapy in advanced *** SUMMARY Here,to our knowledge,we present the first case of a patient with epithelioid subtype MPeM,who was treatment-naïve and benefited from initial PD-1 inhibitor plus standard chemotherapy with a prolonged progression-free survival(PFS)and good tolerance.A 49-year-old man was admitted to our hospital for a persistent burning sensation in the *** tomography revealed a solid mass in the lower abdomen,which was subsequently diagnosed histologically as epithelioid subtype MPeM by core needle *** patient received eight cycles of pemetrexed 800 mg(day 1),cisplatin 60/50 mg(day 1–2),and zimberelimab(PD-1 inhibitor)240 mg(day 1)every 3 *** achieved significant reduction of peritoneal tumors with remarkable improvement in *** best tumor response was partial remission with a final PFS of 7 *** immunerelated adverse event occurred during the combination *** The outcome of the present case demonstrates the promising anti-tumor activity of immunochemotherapy to treat inoperable MPeM in the future.

The as-rolled AZ31 Mg alloy sheets are welded by friction stir welding（FSW） in this study, followed by annealing and hot rolling with different reductions. The effects of welding speed and the rolling reduction on the microstructure, tensile properties, microhardness and fracture surfaces of the specimens are investigated. The results show that the microstructures of the FSW joint in different regions become more and more consistent as the hot rolling reduction increases. The mechanical properties of the FSW joints and the joint coefficient are improved with increasing rolling reduction; however,the hardness value in the stirred zone decreases firstly and then increases. When the rolling reduction is 50%, the tensile strength of FSW joint is close to that of base metal. The sample L_3 achieves the best comprehensive properties, with the yield strength, ultimate tensile strength and elongation of 162, 287.9 MPa, and 17.9%, respectively.

Thymic carcinoma involving sternum： a case report

Thymic carcinoma is a malignancy of the anterior mediastinum with a poor prognosis that is thought to be derived from thymic epithelium and they represent approximately 6% of primary mediastinal tumors. Because of the lack of literature discussing the clinical and pathologic features and treatment of this tumor, thymic carcinoma has been a somewhat controversial disease up to now. Here, we report a female patient suffering from thymic carcinoma involving the sternum. The tumor was resected and the sternum was replaced with a refrigerated homograft.

Background Filamentous fungal infections are associated with a high morbidity and mortality in solid organ transplants The present study aimed to investigate the aspergillus pneumonia in renal transplant recipients, and its diagnosis as well as treatment. Methods Approximately 2000 cases of renal transplants were retrospectively studied and we focused on cases hospitalized during August 1, 2005 and February 1, 2007, as the study period. The clinical database and electronic records were analyzed. Recently published literature was reviewed. Results There was more diabetes and hypertension in the infected group than in the non-infected group （86% vs 62% and 57% vs 39%, respectively）. Eighty-six percent of recipients from the infected group had delayed graft function. Seven cases with aspergillus pneumonia were identified based on either fungal culture or radiology. Of the 7 cases, 4 died in a few days after diagnosis. Liposomal amphotericin B was used as a first-line therapy. Conclusions Incidences of fungal infection are increasing among renal transplant recipients. Early diagnosis and treatment are critical steps in curing aspergillosis.

Methane, an abundant one-carbon(C_(1)) resource, is extensively used in the industrial production of vital fuels and value-added chemicals. However, current industrial methane conversion technologies are energy-and carbon-intensive, mainly due to the high activation energy required to break the inert C–H bond, low selectivity, and problematic side reactions, including CO_(2)emissions and coke deposition. Electrochemical conversion of methane(ECM) using intermittent renewable energy offers an attractive solution, due to its modular reactor design and operational flexibility across a broad spectrum of temperatures and pressures. This review emphasizes conversion pathways of methane in various reaction systems, highlighting the significance and advantages of ECM in facilitating a sustainable artificial carbon cycle. This work provides a comprehensive overview of conventional methane activation mechanisms and delineates the complete pathways of methane conversion in electrolysis contexts. Based on surface/interface chemistry, this work systematically analyzes proposed reaction pathways and corresponding strategies to enhance ECM efficiency towards various target products, including syngas, hydrocarbons, oxygenates, and advanced carbon materials. The discussion also encompasses opportunities and challenges for the ECM process, including insights into ECM pathways, rational electrocatalyst design, establishment of benchmarking protocols, electrolyte engineering, enhancement of CH4conversion rates, and minimization of CO_(2)emission.
