Efficient and selective recovery of Gd(Ⅲ)via polyethyleneimine modification of lanthanum-based metal-organic frameworks

With the development of the economy and the increasing demand for environmental protection,the efficient and selective recovery of Gd(Ⅲ)from actual wastewater is of critical *** this work,lanthanum-based metal-organic framework(LaBDC)materials were prepared by a hydrothermal method,and then polyethyleneimine(PEI)and LaBDC were combined by an impregnation method to form a novel LaBDC@xPEI *** prepared materials were characterized using Fourier transfo rm infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX),B runauer-Emmett-Teller(BET),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).Experiments show that LaBDC@50%PEI has the highest adsorption capacity(181.77 mg/g)among lanthanum-based MOFs with different PEI loadings at pH=5.5,which is about 5.1 times that of bare *** adsorption isotherm analysis shows that LaBDC@50%PEI follows the Langmuir *** addition,the adsorption kinetics of LaBDC@50%PEI follows a pseudo-second-order kinetic model,indicating that the adsorption process is chemical *** is worth noting that LaBDC@50%PEI maintains good adsorption performance and stability after three recycling tests,and exhibits excellent selectivity in cation interference ***,the LaBDC@50%PEI composites possess good stability and hold great promises in rapid recovery of Gd(Ⅲ)from practical aqueous environments.

Reasonable start time of carbon dioxide injection in enhanced coalbed methane recovery involving thermal-hydraulic-mechanical couplings

Injection of gas (CO_(2)) into coal seams is an effective method to benefit from both CO_(2) geological storage and coalbed methane recovery. Based on the dual pore structure of coal mass, and the Weibull distribution of fracture permeability, a menmal-hydraulic-mechanical (THM) coupling mathematical model is proposed involving the non-isothermal adsorption of binary gases, dynamic gas diffusion between matrix and fractures, multiphase seepage, coal deformation, heat conduction and heat convection. This mathematical model is applied to study the process of CO_(2)-enhanced coalbed methane recovery (CO_(2)-ECBM). Results show that the CH4 content of CO_(2)-ECBM in coal seam decreases significantly when compared with that of regular drainage, and decreases rapidly in the early stage but slowly in the later stage. Coal seam permeability evolution is triggered by changes in gas adsorption/desorption, temperature and effective stress. For regular drainage, the early permeability shows a decreasing trend dominated by the increase of effective stress, while the later permeability shows an increasing trend dominated by the CH4 desorption caused shrinkage of coal matrix. For CO_(2)-ECBM, the permeability in coal seam generally shows a downward trend due to both matrix swelling induced by gas adsorption and thermal expansion, particularly near injection well. There appears an increased and delayed peak production rate of CH4. The CH4 production rate of CO_(2)-ECBM is always higher than that of regular drainage. The CH4 cumulative production and CO_(2) cumulative storage linearly increase with time, and the CH4 cumulative production of CO_(2)-ECBM increased by 39.2% in the duration of 5000 d compared with regular drainage. Reasonable CO_(2) injection starting time can overcome the issue of early CO_(2) breakthrough and ineffective increase of CH4 production. Since the current slagging of argon blowing refining process is relatively fixed,which cannot adapt to the fluctuation of converter smelting process,it poses the problems of poor metallurgical property of refining slag and a large amount of molten *** optimization system coupled with multiple models was proposed to dynamic control the ladle slagging in the argon blowing refining *** can compile the optimal dynamic slagging scheme in real time under the guarantee of deoxidation performance and reasonable *** argon blowing refining slag composition range of CaO/Al_(2)O_(3)=1.3-1.7,CaO/SiO_(2)=6-12,w(MgO)=2%-6% was determined based on FeO activity and liquidus temperature by equilibrium thermodynamic *** addition,it demonstrated better performance in the viscosity prediction task of the presented Visual Geometry Group 16-like one-dimensional convolutional neural network deep learning algorithm versus the Random Forest ensemble learning algorithm,as the adjusted coefficients of determination were 0.9712 and 0.9637,*** the system was applied in operation,the argon blowing refining process was stable,and the steel yield was enhanced,which promoted the intelligent steelmaking level while achieving the cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

Mechanism of brittle fracture in diamond turning of microlens array on polymethyl methacrylate

Diamond cutting is a popular method to fabricate microlens array (MLA) on polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA);however, it is limited by brittle fracture, which is formed easily on the surface of MLA during the cutting process. In this paper, the formation mechanism of the brittle fracture is studied via a series of experiments including the slow tool servo (STS) cutting experiment of MLA, surface scratching experiment and suddenstop cutting experiment. The effects of undeformed chip thickness, feed rate, and machining track on brittle fracture formation are investigated in detail. In addition, based on the fracture formation mechanism, a bi-directional cutting approach is proposed to eliminate the regional brittle fracture of the microlens during diamond cutting. An experiment was then conducted to verify the method;the results demonstrated that bi-directional cutting could eliminate brittle fracture entirely. Finally, a spherical MLA with the form error (vPV) of 60 nm and the surface roughness (Ra) of 8 nm was successfully fabricated.

The wetting behavior of dust by droplets is investigated by experiments and numerical simulation *** observation reveals that the surface of a coal slice is hydrophilic in nature,while surfaces of coal dust stacks are *** show that water droplets settle on these surfaces following the Cassie-Baxter wetting model,as supported by theoretical,numerical analyses and experimental observations,*** droplets only wet the first layer of coal *** numerical simulation results also show that a water droplet could not enclose any coal dust inside it and many coal dust particles are adhered with a hexagonal close packing on a large water *** on these results,we conclude that the surface area of water droplets is an important factor on their wetting and capturing coal dust,and producing smaller water droplets can improve the efficiency of settling dust.

A novel two-dimensional metal organic coordination compound based on flexible 1,3,5-tri（4-carboxyphenoxy）benzene （HaTCPB）, {[Mgl.5（TCPB）（DMF）（H20）]＇（DMF）}n （1）, has been prepared and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, TGA, and PXRD measurements. Complex 1 crystalizes in triclinic, space group Pi with a = 10.2521（6）, b = 11.0974（7）, c = 16.1113（9） A, C33H31Mg1.5N2012, Mr = 684.06, V= 1669.46（17） A3, Z = 2, Dc = 1.361 g·cm^-3, p = 0.129 mm^-1, F（000） = 714, 3.06≤0≤25°, λ（MoKa） = 0.71073 A, T= 273（2） K, the final R = 0.0386, wR = 0.0892 and S = 1.031. X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that complex 1 possesses a two-dimensional framework constructed by trinuclear Mg SBUs and three-connected TCPB3- linker. In addition, the solid state luminescent property of complex 1 was also investigated at room temperature.

The Relationship between Parental Stress and Child Conformity:The Mediating Role of Resilience

BACKGROUND Paraneoplastic neurological syndrome(PNS)is a rare complication in patients with *** can affect the central,peripheral,autonomic nervous system,neuromuscular junction,or muscles and cause various neurological ***-Yo antibody-positive neurological paraneoplasms and anti-Hu antibodypositive neurological paraneoplasms are common,but coexistence of both types has not been described in the *** SUMMARY Here we present a rare case of paraneoplastic neuropathy occurring in both breast and lung cancers.A 55-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital with unsteadiness while *** patient had a history of breast cancer two years *** computed tomography revealed a 4.6 cm×3.6 cm mass in the right lung,which was diagnosed as small-cell lung cancer(SCLC).Blood test was positive for anti-Yo antibodies,and the cerebrospinal fluid was positive for both anti-Yo and anti-Hu antibodies,and the neurological symptoms were considered to be related to the *** patient was treated with a course of intravenous immunoglobulin,without noticeable *** being discharged from hospital,the patient underwent regular chemotherapy for SCLC and periodic *** patient’s neurological symptoms continued to deteriorate at the follow-up visit in April *** This case suggests the possibility of two types of tumors appearing simultaneously with two paraneoplastic *** clinical appearance of two or more paraneoplastic tumors requires additional attention.

Taiji studies are a field of study that has its roots in the philosophical thought of the Yi Jing or Book of *** integrates the self‑cultivation traditions of Confucianism,Buddhism,and Daoism,and centers its academic system mostly on the perspective of the“states view”(jing jie guan).From the standpoint of its philosophical theory,Taiji studies divide the understanding of Dao into three theoretical states:the state of existence(you jie),the state of existence‑nonexistence(you wu jie),and the state of nonexistence(wu jie).It also establishes a theoretical structure that mainly includes“three states and nine axioms,”“One Dao and Nine theory sections,”and“Three practice levels and Nine secrets.”Based on traditional Chinese culture and philosophy,Taiji studies are continuously integrating the essence of them for better understanding and raising,and finally set up a rational school of Taiji Da Dao。

Benzyl and anthracenemethyl groups were respectively bonded to the N atoms of 3-aminopropyl functionalized mesoporous SBA-15（APS-SBA-15） to obtain two new base catalysts over which the condensation reaction of benzaldehyde and 2＇-hydroxyacetophenone was *** catalytic activities and high selectivities for flavanones were obtained in solvent-free reactions,which is attributed to the effect of benzyl and anthracenemetyl groups on the base sites of catalysts and the steric hindrance of futher reaction of flavanone with benzaldehyde.
