The Revised International Staging System(R-ISS)is a simple and powerful prognostic tool for multiple myeloma(MM).However,heterogeneity in R-ISS stage is still poorly characterised,hampering improvement of *** used single-cell RNA-seq to examine novel cellular heterogeneity and regular networks in nine MM patients stratified by *** cells were clustered into nine groups(P1–P9)based on gene expression,where P1–P5 were almost enriched in stage ***6 was significantly upregulated in P3 and LETM1was enriched in P1,and they were validated to be upregulated in the MM cell line and in 22 other patients’myeloma ***,in progression,PDIA6 was newly found and verified to be activated by UQCRB through oxidative phosphorylation,while LETM1 was activated by STAT1 via the C-type lectin receptor-signalling ***,a subcluster of monocytes was exclusively found in stage III specifically expressed chemokines modulated by ATF3.A few ligand-receptor pairs(CCL3/CCL5/CCL3L1-CCR1)were obviously active in monocyte-plasma communications in stage ***,this study identified novel molecules,networks and crosstalk pairs in different R-ISS stages of MM,providing significant insight for its prognosis and treatment.

Atmospheric pressure cold plasma, with advantages such as high particle activity, no thermal damage, high efficiency and direct and friendly contact with human tissues, is considered to have great potential in biomedical applications. Therefore, 'plasma medicine' as a new interdiscipline has been developed in the past two decades. This review first briefly describes the development of typical plasma sources suitable for biomedical applications, and those with different discharge forms are simply compared, evaluated and summarized. Subsequently, measurement of the crucial gaseous reactive particles(e.g. OH and O) and their spatio-temporal distributions are introduced. Meanwhile, the generation and variation rules and the related critical macroscopic parameters of the plasma-induced aqueous reactive species are summarized. Finally, related studies in the last ten years on the mechanisms of the plasma-driven microbial inactivation and plasma-induced apoptosis of cancer cells are introduced. Moreover, some scientific problems that need to be urgently solved in the field of plasma medicine are also discussed. This review will provide useful guidance for future related research.

针对多个谐振器组成的无线无源声表面波(SAW)转矩传感器阅读过程复杂、耗时长的问题,利用SAW谐振器的频率响应特性设计了一种基于时域的转矩传感器快速解调方法.分析了SAW谐振器的响应特性并设计了信号的截断与去噪声方法,以及周期计算方法.根据设定的高频与响应信号周期的关系确定各个谐振器谐振频率的范围,然后通过谱估计具有最大周期的信号以解调出频率.提出的扫描方法只需采集一路信号,即降低了阅读器硬件系统的复杂性,同时在时域中简化了信号解调算法.通过实验测试了该扫描方法,完成一次搜索过程只需521ms,而传统的2路正交信号(IQ)扫描方法需要828ms.实验结果表明:设计的算法与IQ法相比扫描速度提高了37.1%,验证了该算法的有效性.

Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Calcium Phosphate Cement/gelatine Composite Scaffold with Oriented Pore Structure for Bone Tissue Engineering

In this study,the macroporous calcium phosphate cement with oriented pore structure was prepared by freeze *** observation showed that the macropores in the porous calcium phosphate cement were interconnected aligned along the ice growth *** porosity of the as-prepared porous CPC was measured to be 87.6% by Archimede's *** patterns of specimens showed that poorly crystallized hydroxyapatite was the main phase present in the hydrated porous calcium phosphate *** improve the mechanical properties of the CPC scaffold,the 15% gelatine solution was infiltrated into the pores under vacuum and then the samples were freeze dried to form the CPC/gelatine composite *** reinforced with gelatine,the compressive strength of CPC/gelatin composite increased to 5.12 MPa,around 50 times greater than that of the unreinforced macroporous CPC scaffold,which was only 0.1 *** the toughness of the scaffold has been greatly improved via the gelatine reinforcement with a much greater fracture *** examination of the specimens indicated good bonding between the cement and *** conclusion,the calcium phosphate cement/gelatine composite with oriented pore structure prepared in this study might be a potential scaffold for bone tissue engineering.

Calcium phosphate(CaP)bioceramics are widely applied in the bone repairing field attributing to their excellent biological properties,especially ***,their applications in load-bearing or segmental bone defects are severely restricted by the poor mechanical *** is generally considered that it is challenging to improve mechanical and biological properties of CaP bioceramics *** to now,various strategies have been developed to enhance mechanical strengths of CaP ceramics,the achievements in recent researches need to be urgently *** this review,the effective and current means of enhancing mechanical properties of CaP ceramics were comprehensively summarized from the perspectives of fine-grain strengthening,second phase strengthening,and sintering process ***’s more,the further improvement of mechanical properties for CaP ceramics was prospectively proposed including heat treatment and ***,this review put forward the direction about how to compatibly improve mechanical properties of CaP ceramics,which can provide data and ideas for expanding the range of their clinical applications.

AIM： To explore effects of huoxiangzhengqi liquid （HXZQ） on enteric mucosal immune responses in mice with Bacillus dysenteriae and Salmonella typhimurium induced diarrhea （BSD）. METHODS： BSD was induced in Balb/c mice by oral administration with Bacillus dysenteriae and Salmonella typhimurium. HXZQ was administrated from the day of diarrhea induction at dosages of 5.21 g/kg and 0.52 g/kg, respectively. The onset of diarrhea and lasting time were recorded. Peyer＇s patches and peripheral lymphocytes were prepared for flow cytometry, and levels of TNF-α in peripheral blood and enteric tissue homogenates were determined with ELISA. Student＇s t test was employed for statistics. RESULTS： Mice in BSD group started showing continuous diarrhea on the day of induction until the fourth day when they were sacrificed. Diarrhea in the mice of HXZQ high and low dose groups lasted for 36 and 54 h, respectively. There were more CD4^＋ and CD8^＋ cells in peripheral blood, fewer CD4^＋ cells in Peyer＇s patches in BSD mice compared to normal mice. Fewer CD4^＋ and CD8^＋ cells was shown in the mice in HXZQ high group compared to BSD mice. In Peyer＇s patch, there were more CD8^＋ cells in mice in HXZQ high and low dose groups and more CD4^＋ in mice in HXZQ high group. Higher levels of TNF-α in peripheral blood and intestinal tissue homogenates in BSD group were observed. Mice in HXZQ high group showed decreased levels of TNF-α in peripheral blood and enteric tissue homogenates. CONCLUSION： The immune regulation of CD4^＋ and CD8^＋ cells in Peyer＇s patch and suppression of TNF-α levels in enteric homogenates may partially explain the effect of HXZQ on improvement of BSD.
