Ginsenoside Rd Induces Differentiation of Myeloid Leukemia Cells via Regulating ERK/GSK-3βSignaling Pathway

Currently,the enhancement in electromagnetic interference(EMI)performance of polymeric composite generally relies on either improving electrical conductivity(σ)for stronger electromagnetic(EM)reflections or tailoring structure for higher EM ***,we proposed a novel technique called cyclic pulsating pressure enhanced segregating structuration(CPP-SS),which can reinforce these two factors *** structural information was supplied by optical microscopy(OM)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),both of which confirmed the formation and evolution of segregate structured ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)/graphene ***,the result showed that CPP-SS can significantly improve theσof ***,advanced specific EMI shielding efficiency of 31.1 d B/mm was achieved for UHMWPE/graphene composite at 1-mm thickness and a low graphene loading of 5 wt%.Meanwhile,it also confirmed that the intrinsic disadvantage of poor mechanical properties of conventional segregated structure composites can be *** work is believed to provide a fundamental understanding of the structural and performance evolutions of segregated structured composites prepared under CPPSS,and to bring us a simple and efficient approach for fabricating high-performance,strong and light-weight polymeric EMI shields.

Variation characteristics and prediction of pollutant concentration during winter in Lanzhou New District, China

PM2.5 and PM10 were the main air pollutants during winter in Lanzhou New District,*** this paper,WRF model output combined with hourly monitoring data of pollutant concentration was used to analyze characteristics of the concentration change and to study the relationship between meteorological elements and PM10/PM2.5 in Lanzhou New District in January,***,the concentration changes of PM2.5 and PM10 were predicted by wavelet analysis combined with BP neural *** results show that:(1)Due to the cold front process in winter,PM2.5 was negatively correlated with the water vapor mixing ***10 was positively correlated with air temperature and negatively correlated with air pressure.(2)There was an inversion layer in the atmosphere near the high value day of PM2.5 and PM10,the surface was controlled by low pressure,low wind speed,and the situation of low value day of PM2.5 was the *** the day of high value of PM10,the air temperature below 600 hPa was higher,and the wind speed near the surface was also higher.(3)Wavelet analysis combined with BP(Back Propagation)neural network had a good prediction effect on PM2.5,which could basically reflect the hourly change of PM2.5 ***,the simulation effect of PM10 was poor,and the input parameters of surrounding pollutants should be added to improve the prediction effect.

Impact of Structural Disorder on Excitonic Behaviors and Dynamics in 2D Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Perovskites

Two thin-film 2 D organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites,i.e.,2-phenylethylammonium lead iodide(PEPI)and 4-phenyl-1-butylammonium lead iodide(PBPI)were synthesized and investigated by steady-state absorption,temperature-dependent photoluminescence,and temperature-dependent ultrafast transient absorption *** has a longer organic chain(via introducing extra ethyl groups)than PEPI,thus its inorganic skeleton can be distorted,bringing on structural *** comparative analyses of spectral profiles and temporal dynamics revealed that the greater structural disorder in PBPI results in more defect states serving as trap states to promote exciton *** addition,the fine-structuring of excitonic resonances was unveiled by temperature-dependent ultrafast spectroscopy,suggesting its correlation with inorganic skeleton rather than organic ***,the photoexcited coherent phonons were observed in both PEPI and PBPI,pointing to a subtle impact of structural disorder on the low-frequency Raman-active vibrations of inorganic *** work provides valuable insights into the optical properties,excitonic behaviors and dynamics,as well as coherent phonon effects in 2 D hybrid perovskites.

NLRP3 and autophagy in retinal ganglion cell inflammation in age-related macular degeneration:potential therapeutic implications

Retinal degenerative diseases were a large group of diseases characterized by the primary death of retinal ganglion cells(RGCs).Recent studies had shown an interaction between autophagy and nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor 3(NLRP3)inflammasomes,which may affect RGCs in retinal degenerative *** NLRP3 inflammasome was a protein complex that,upon activation,produces caspase-1,mediating the apoptosis of retinal cells and promoting the occurrence and development of retinal degenerative *** autophagy could inhibit NLRP3 inflammasome activation,while inhibited autophagy can promote NLRP3 inflammasome activation,which leaded to the accelerated emergence of drusen and lipofuscin deposition under the neurosensory *** activated NLRP3 inflammasome could further inhibit autophagy,thus forming a vicious cycle that accelerated the damage and death of *** review discussed the relationship between NLRP3 inflammasome and autophagy and its effects on RGCs in age-related macular degeneration,providing a new perspective and direction for the treatment of retinal diseases.

Protective effects of CY-09 and astaxanthin on NaIO_(3)-induced photoreceptor inflammation via the NLRP3/autophagy pathway

AIM:To study the effect of the NLRP3/autophagy pathway on the photoreceptor inflammatory response and the protective mechanism of CY-09 and astaxanthin(AST).METHODS:ICR mice were intraperitoneally injected NaIO_(3),CY-09,AST successively and divided into 5 groups,including the control,NaIO_(3),NaIO_(3)+CY-09,NaIO_(3)+AST,and NaIO_(3)+CY-09+AST *** domain optical coherence tomography and flash electroretinogram were examined and the retina tissues were harvested for immunohistochemistry,enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(EliSA),and Western *** pigment epithelium cell line(ARPE-19 cells)and mouse photoreceptor cells line(661W cells)were also treated with NaIO_(3),CY-09,and AST *** proliferation was assessed by cell counting kit-8(CCK-8)*** was analyzed by flow *** in autophagosome morphology were observed by transmission electron *** polymerase chain reaction(qPCR)was used to detect NLRP3 and ***3,caspase-1,cleaved caspase-1,p62,Beclin-1,and LC3 protein levels were measured by Western ***-1βand IL-18 were measured by ***:Compared with the control group,the activity of NaIO_(3)-treated 661W cells decreased within 24 and 48h,apoptosis increased,NLRP3,caspase-1,IL-1βand IL-18 levels increased,and autophagy-related protein levels increased(Plin-1,and LC3 in vitro and in vivo(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:CY-09 and AST inhibit NaIO_(3)-induced inflammatory damage through the NLRP3/autophagy pathway in vitro and in ***-09 and AST may protect retina from inflammatory injury.

Powered by advanced information technology,more and more complex systems are exhibiting characteristics of the cyber-physical-social systems(CPSS).In this context,computational experiments method has emerged as a novel approach for the design,analysis,management,control,and integration of CPSS,which can realize the causal analysis of complex systems by means of“algorithmization”of“counterfactuals”.However,because CPSS involve human and social factors(e.g.,autonomy,initiative,and sociality),it is difficult for traditional design of experiment(DOE)methods to achieve the generative explanation of system *** address this challenge,this paper proposes an integrated approach to the design of computational experiments,incorporating three key modules:1)Descriptive module:Determining the influencing factors and response variables of the system by means of the modeling of an artificial society;2)Interpretative module:Selecting factorial experimental design solution to identify the relationship between influencing factors and macro phenomena;3)Predictive module:Building a meta-model that is equivalent to artificial society to explore its operating ***,a case study of crowd-sourcing platforms is presented to illustrate the application process and effectiveness of the proposed approach,which can reveal the social impact of algorithmic behavior on“rider race”.

The prediction for Multivariate Time Series(MTS)explores the interrelationships among variables at historical moments,extracts their relevant characteristics,and is widely used in finance,weather,complex industries and other ***,it is important to construct a digital twin ***,existing methods do not take full advantage of the potential properties of variables,which results in poor predicted *** this paper,we propose the Adaptive Fused Spatial-Temporal Graph Convolutional Network(AFSTGCN).First,to address the problem of the unknown spatial-temporal structure,we construct the Adaptive Fused Spatial-Temporal Graph(AFSTG)***,we fuse the spatial-temporal graph based on the interrelationship of spatial ***,we construct the adaptive adjacency matrix of the spatial-temporal graph using node embedding ***,to overcome the insufficient extraction of disordered correlation features,we construct the Adaptive Fused Spatial-Temporal Graph Convolutional(AFSTGC)*** module forces the reordering of disordered temporal,spatial and spatial-temporal dependencies into rule-like *** dynamically and synchronously acquires potential temporal,spatial and spatial-temporal correlations,thereby fully extracting rich hierarchical feature information to enhance the predicted *** on different types of MTS datasets demonstrate that the model achieves state-of-the-art single-step and multi-step performance compared with eight other deep learning models.
