Renewable energy has penetrated power grid enterprises on a large *** to the intermittency and volatility of renewable energy generation,it is necessary to build new flexible grid-side resources to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid,which will cause great pressure on cost allocation for power grid *** article considers four types of flexible grid-side resources and constructs a dual-level configuration optimization model for flexible grid-side resources under the penetration of renewable en*** on the configuration results,the cost scale of flexible grid-side resources is estimated and an improved ancillary service cost allocation model based on the Shapley value method is proposed to smooth the allocation of ancillary service costs in the cost of flexible grid-side resources between the two main bodies of renewable energy and *** calculation results show that,when the penetration rate of renewable-energy power is 30%and 35%,respectively,the cost of flexible grid-side resources is 9.606 billion yuan and 21.518 billion yuan,*** proportion of ancillary service costs allocated to load is relatively high-about five times that of the ancillary service costs allocated to renewable energy-and the higher the penetration rate of renewable energy,the higher the proportion of ancillary service costs allocated to renewable energy.

Background The treatment strategies for multilevel thoracic ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligaments （T-OPLL） were rarely reported. The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical outcomes and complications of circumferential decompression for multilevel T-OPLL and compare two different methods in the management of the OPLL （resection or floating）. Methods Data of sequentially treated patients who received surgical treatment for thoracic spinal stenosis caused by multilevel T-OPLL from January 2005 to February 2012 were retrospectively reviewed. Based on the surgical approaches applied, the patients were divided into two groups. Group A consisted the patients who received posterior decompression and group B consisted the patients who received circumferential decompression via the posterior approach. Group B was further divided into two subgroups： subgroup 1 （the resection group） where the OPLL was completely resected and subgroup 2 （the floating group） where the OPLL was floated. Results A total of 49 patients were included in the study. Fourteen patients with single posterior decompression were included in group A and 35 patients who received circumferential decompression were included in group B. In group B, 29 patients had complete resection of the ossified posterior longitudinal ligaments, while the other six underwent a flotation procedure. The follow-up data were available in 39 patients. Mean JOA scores improved from 5.4 ± 1.8 to 7.5 ± 2.8 in group A and from 3.7 ± 1.8 to 7.9 ± 2.4 in group B. The main complications included cerebrospinal fluid （CSF） leakage and postoperative neurelogic deterioration （ND）. Twenty-three of the 25 cases with postoperative CSF leakage achieved a complete recovery at the last follow-up and 12 of the 15 cases with ND achieved some neurological improvement at the last follow-up. AIM: To evaluate the safety of donors in adult living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) using the right lobe in a single liver transplantation center in China. METHODS: We investigated retrospectively 52 living donor liver resections performed from October 2003 to July 2006. All patients were evaluated by blood tests and abdominal CT. The mean donor age was 28.2 ± 7.4 years. Residual liver volume was 42.1% ± 4.7%. Mean operative time was 420 ± 76.2 min; mean ICU stay, less than 36 h; mean hospital stay, 16.4 ± 8.6 d; and mean follow-up period, 6 mo. RESULTS: There was no mortality. The overall complication rate was 40% (21 donors). Major complications included biliary leak in two, and pneumonia in 2 donors. Minor complications included mild pleural effusion in 12 donors, transient ascites in 6, mild depression in 4, intra-abdominal collections in 2, and wound infections in 1 donor. Residual liver volume did not affect the complication rate. None required re- operation. Return to pre-donation activity occurred within 5-8 wk. CONCLUSION: Right hemi-hepatectomy can be performed safely with minimal risk in cases of careful donor selection. Major complications occurred in only 7.7% of our series.

Objective To review the emerging role of DNA methylation inhibitors in cancer therapy and make a serious reflection on their current status and future perspectives. Data sources The data used in the present article were mainly from PubMed with relevant English papers published from April 1988 to January 2010. The search terms were ＂DNA methylation＂, ＂demethylation＂ and ＂cancer＂. Study selection Studies involed in the DNA methylation in carcinogenesis and DNA methylation inhibitors for cancer therapy were selected. The original milestone articles were also included. Results Treatment with DNA methylation inhibitors leads to demethylation of a panel of tumour suppressor genes and reverse the expression in different tumors, thus making them potential cancer therapeutics. However, we cannot be very optimistic about their future perspectives because we still have a long way to go before they function well like specific targeted anticancer drugs as we *** The best way forward is to further clarify the exact methylation profiles of tumors and to develop novel agents targeting the specific genes.

Temperature-swing adsorption(TSA)is an effective technique for CO_(2) capture,but the temperature swing procedure is ***,we report a low-energy-consumption system by combining passive radiative cooling and solar heating for the uptake of CO_(2) on commercial activated carbons(CACs).During adsorption,the adsorbents are coated with a layer of hierarchically porous poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropene)[P(VdF-HFP)HP],which cools the adsorbents to a low temperature under sunlight through radiative *** desorption,CACs with broad absorption of the solar spectrum are exposed to light irradiation for *** heating and cooling processes are completely driven by solar *** tests under mimicked sunlight using the CACs show that the performance of this system is comparable to that of the traditional ***,under real sunlight irradiation,the adsorption capacity of the CACs can be well maintained after multiple *** present work may inspire the development of new temperature swing procedures with little energy consumption.
