The development of high-efficiency,earth-abundant,and durable oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysts is desirable for commercialization of fuel cells,but remains a great ***,we develop a facile and practical method for preparing efficient ORR electrocatalysts by directly growing metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)Co2(INA)4·DMF(HINA=isonicotinic acid,1)and{[Co2(TPI)(H2O)2(OH)]·DMF}(H3 TPI=5-(4-(tetrazol-5-yl)phenyl)isophthalic acid,2)on the commercial carbon(CC).The resulting MOF/CCs were further pyrolysis to functionalize CC by trace amount of cobalt oxides,resulting in two composites Cal-MOF-1/CC(3)and Cal-MOF-2/CC(4),which can be used as efficient electrocatalysts for ORR with remarkable stability and large diffusion-limited current density,even superior to that of commercial Pt/C *** study reveals that the linking ligands with different structure and nitrogen contents in 1 and 2 smartly influence the types of cobalt *** catalytic activity of Co3O4/CoO/Co co-doped CC in 4 was much enhanced compared to that of CoO-doped CC in 3.

This paper is based on the fundamental loading model of pure bending and the analytical model of a circular beam element with arbitrary initial deflection. The L.W. guo solution is modified and generalized according to the elastic theory, and the analytical solution for the stress of the beam element with arbitrary initial deflection under pure bending is derived. Using yield theory of edge strength, an expression for the safety margin of one point in the arbitrary curved beam under pure bending （ACPB） is built. This paper modifies the model for weak points of service structures and establishes a foundation for safe design and inspection of imperfect structures. Also, according to the theory of the method of advanced first-order second-moment（AFOSM） , this paper derives an expression for the reliability index of one point in ACPB. Lastly, it modifies the solution for weak points by solving the minimal reliability index.

Sequence-activated chemiluminescence(CL) technique offers a unique approach to detecting specific biomolecules or cellular events with high sensitivity and spatial resolution. The fundamental principle behind sequence-activated CL probes involves tailoring highly-controllable CL signals in response to specific sequences or events of interest, thus enabling high-contrast signals under complex physiological conditions. This sequential activation could be triggered by enzymes, reactive oxygen species(ROS), biothiols or changes in the microenvironment. These unique sequence-activated CL probes bestow several advantages, including minimal background, deep-tissue penetration, and the ability of non-invasive or minimally invasive detection. The sequence-activated CL techniques represent a significant advancement in molecular imaging and diagnostics. In this mini-review, we focus on the latest developments in sequential CL probes, addressing the technical challenges and discussing the future trajectory by harnessing CL signaling and molecular recognition.

A Wind Tunnel Experimental Study on the Wake Characteristics of a Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine

The characteristics of wind turbine wakes are influenced by multiple factors,including the atmospheric boundary layer(ABL) wind and wind turbine operating conditions(e.g.,tip speed ratio and yaw angle).In this study,two types of ABL winds with different velocity gradients and turbulence intensities are generated in a wind tunnel through configurations of spires,baffles,and various numbers of roughness elements.A wind turbine with a rotor diameter of 0.8 m and a hub height of 0.6 m is tested under varying tip speed ratios,yaw angles,and ABL wind *** results indicate that the streamwise velocity deficit in the near-wake region becomes more pronounced with an increase in the tip speed ratio,while the far-wake velocity deficit remains largely unaffected by changes in the tip speed *** the yaw angle increases,the wake deflection becomes more prominent and the wake narrows;the offset of the wake center at various downstream positions grows linearly,reaching a maximum value of approximately half the rotor ***,the turbulence level and influence range in the wake region are reduced when the turbine is *** ABL wind conditions,high turbulence intensity in the incoming flow accelerates wake recovery,and the Reynolds stress at different lateral positions tends to become consistent with increasing longitudinal ***,turbulence has a significant impact on the meandering characteristics of the wind turbine wake,with greater fluctuations in the wake center observed under higher turbulence ***,this study provides insights that could inform the optimal operation of wind farms.

As a laser passes through a scattering medium,the light interacts with the irregular reflections within the medium,resulting in light scattering and the formation of *** this paper,an image sensor based on the combination of a coreless optical fiber and a digital camera is proposed for liquid refractive index sensing *** coreless fiber is used as a sensing unit,and the change in the speckle pattern is measured using the digital correlation method to detect the magnitude of the liquid's refractive *** experimental results indicate that the laser image sensing technique is capable of effectively distinguishing liquid samples with refractive indices ranging from 1.332 8 to1.390 8,with a sensing sensitivity of-1.306 ***,the laser image sensing technique,with its advantages of high experimental reproducibility,simple system design,remote over-control,holds great research significance and potential application in laser communication and sensor integration.

Prestin is the motor protein of cochlear outer hair cells （OHCs）. It is able to perform rapid and reciprocal electromechanical conversion that underlies OHC electromotility. Due to the inadequate size of a single prestin molecule to form the2 nm intramembraneous protein particles （IMPs） in the OHC lateral membrane （LM）, the possibility of prestin oligomerization has been proposed. It has been suggested that prestin molecules form highorder oligomers, most likely as the tetramer, in heterologous systems. In OHCs, however, the oligomeric structure of prestin remains unclear. Here we calculated the prestin-related charge density in both gerbil and guinea pig OHCs through measuring their nonlinear capacitance （NLC） and LM surface area, showing that the average charge density （22, 608 μm-2 in gerbils; 19, 460 μm-2 in guinea pigs） is statistically 4 times the average density of IMPs （5,686 μm-2 in gerbils; 5, 000 μm-2 in guinea pigs）. This suggests that each IMP contains four prestin molecules based upon the notion that each prestin transfers a single elementary charge, implying that prestin forms tetramers in OHCs. To determine whether the prestin tetramer functions as a mechanical unit, we subsequently compared the slope factors （α） of electromotility and NLC simultaneously measured from the same OHC, showing that the α values of the two are statistically the same. This suggests that each prestin molecule in the tetramer is mechanically independent and equally contributes to OHC electromotility.

The pre-wetting of aggregate surface is a means to improve the interface performance of SBS modified asphalt and *** effect of pre-wetting technology on the interaction between SBS modified asphalt and aggregate was analyzed by molecular dynamics *** diffusion coefficient and concentration distribution of SBS modified asphalt on aggregate surface are *** simulation results show that the diffusion coefficient of the aggregate surface of SBS modified asphalt is increased by 47.6%and 70.5%respectively after 110#asphalt and 130#asphalt are *** concentration distribution of SBS modified asphalt on the aggregate surface after pre-wetting is more *** to the results of interface energy calculation,the interface energy of SBS modified bitumen and aggregate can be increased by about 5%after *** to the results of molecular dynamics simulation,the pre-wetting technology can effectively improve the interface workability of SBS modified bitumen and aggregate,so as to improve the interface performance.

The design of the power line carrier communication system was introduced in this paper,DSP was adopted as the hardware platform to complete the core *** sending terminal delivered the collecting data to the DSP receiving terminal through the power line carrier, and the DSP receiving terminal send the data to PC through a serial *** design improved the power line carrier communication system and the data transmission became faster and more *** experiment results showed that the PER of the receiving data is less than 0.4%, which satisfied the power line carrier communication requirement Our design is feasible and effective.
