Footprint Mismatch of Cervical Disc Prostheses with Chinese Cervical Anatomic Dimensions

Background：The footprint of most prostheses is designed according to Caucasian *** disc replacement （TDR） has been performed widely for cervical degenerative diseases in *** is essential to analyze the match sizes of prostheses footprints and Chinese cervical anatomic dimensions in our ***：The anatomic dimensions of the C4-C7 segments of 138 patients （age range 16-77 years） in a Chinese population were measured by computed tomography *** compared the footprints of the most commonly used cervical disc prostheses （Bryan：Medtronic,Minneapolis,MN,USA; Prestige LP：Medtronic,Fridley,Minnesota,USA; Discover：DePuy,Raynham,MA,USA; Prodisc-C：Synthes,West Chester,PA,USA） in China with Chinese cervical anatomic dimensions and assessed the match of their ***：The mismatch of available dimensions of prostheses and anatomic data of cervical endplates ranged from 17.03% （C4/C5,Prestige LP,Prodisc-C） to 57.61% （C6/C7,Discover） in the anterior-posterior （AP） diameter,and 35.51% （C4/C5,Prodisc-C,Prestige LP） to 94.93% （C6/C7,Bryan） in the center mediolateral （CML） *** 21.01% of endplates were larger than the largest prostheses in the AP diameter and 57.25% in the CML *** available footprints of prostheses expect the Bryan with an unfixed height,can accommodate the disc height （DH）,however,36.23% of the middle DH was less than the smallest height of the *** average disc sagittal angles （DSAs） of C4-C7 junctions were 5.04＆#176;,5.15＆#176;,and 4.13＆#176; *** the Discover brand had a built-in 7＆#176; lordotic angle,roughly matching with the ***：There is a large discrepancy between footprints of prostheses and Chinese cervical anatomic *** recent years,possible complications of TDR related with mismatch sizes are increasing,such as subsidence,displacement,and heterotopic *** of prostheses should introduce or produce additional footprints of prostheses for Chinese TDR.

Effects of decompression joint Governor Vessel electro-acupuncture on rats with acute upper cervical spinal cord injury

Decompression is the major therapeutic strategy for acute spinal cord injury,but there is some debate about the time window for decompression following spinal cord *** important goal and challenge in the treatment of spinal cord injury is inhibiting or reversing secondary *** Vessel electroacupuncture can improve symptoms of spinal cord injury by inhibiting cell apoptosis and improving the microenvironment of the injured spinal *** this study,Governor Vessel electroacupuncture combined with decompression at different time points was used to treat acute spinal cord *** rat models were established by inserting a balloon catheter into the atlanto-occipital *** upper cervical spinal cord was compressed for 12 or 48 hours prior to *** was conducted at the acupoints Dazhui（GV14） and Baihui（GV 20）（2 Hz,15 minutes） once a day for 14 consecutive *** with decompression alone,hind limb motor function recovery was superior after decompression for 12 and 48 hours combined with ***,the recovery of motor function was not significantly different at 14 days after treatment in rats receiving decompression for 12 ***-activating factor levels and caspase-9 protein expression were significantly reduced in rats receiving electroacupuncture compared with decompression *** findings indicate that compared with decompression alone,Governor Vessel electroacupuncture combined with delayed decompression（48 hours） is more effective in the treatment of upper cervical spinal cord *** Vessel electroacupuncture combined with early decompression（12 hours） can accelerate the recovery of nerve movement in rats with upper cervical spinal cord ***,further studies are necessary to confirm whether it is possible to obtain additional benefit compared with early decompression alone.

Global Dynamic Responses and Progressive Failure of Submerged Floating Tunnel Under Cable Breakage Conditions

The Submerged Floating Tunnel(SFT)relies on a tensioned mooring system for precise *** sudden breakage of a single cable can trigger an immediate alteration in the constraint conditions of the tube,inducing a transient heave response within the structure along with a transient increase in cable tension experienced by adjacent *** more severe cases,this may even lead to a progressive failure culminating in the global destruction of the *** study used ANSYS/AQWA to establish a numerical model of the entire length SFT for the hydrodynamic response analysis,and conducted a coupled calculation of the dynamic responses of the SFT-mooring line model based on Orca Flex to study the global dynamic responses of the SFT at the moment of cable breakage and the redistribution of cable internal *** most unfavorable position for SFT cable breakage was identified,the influence mechanism of cable breakage at different positions on the global dynamic response was revealed,and the progressive chain failure pattern caused by localized cable breakage are also clarified.

Upper-rim-modified thioether thiacalix[4]arene used for liquid-liquid extraction of Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)in hydrochloric acid medium

Gold(Au)and palladium(Pd)play an increasing role in the production and human life;Therefore,it is of great significance to study their recovery.A 5,11,17,23-tetra-ethylthio-25,26,27,28-tetra-hydroxyl thiacalix[4]arene(TCAET)was synthesized specifically for the capture of Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)from HCl medium by liquid-liquid *** a 0.1 mol·L^(-1)HCl medium,the transfer of Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)from the aqueous phase to the organic phase was highly efficient,with a transfer ratio of 100%for Au(Ⅲ)and 98%for Pd(Ⅱ).Furthermore,the extraction equilibrium time for Au(Ⅲ)was just 5 ***'s method data demonstrated that TCAET formed complexes with Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)in a ratio of 2:3 and 1:1,respectively,during the extraction *** showed high selectivity toward Pd(Ⅱ)and Au(Ⅲ)over other competing metal ***,both Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)could be successfully stripped from the loaded organic phases with a 1.0 mol·L^(-1)thiourea in 0.5 mol·L^(-1)HCl and 0.5 mol·L^(-1)thiourea in 0.5 mol·L^(-1)HCl,*** obtained from five consecutive extraction-stripping cycles showed good reusability of TCAET toward Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)*** conclusion can provide a certain reference for thiacalixarene in the recovery of precious metal species.

Reputation-based joint optimization of user satisfaction and resource utilization in a computing force network

Under the development of computing and network convergence,considering the computing and network resources of multiple providers as a whole in a computing force network(CFN)has gradually become a new ***,since each computing and network resource provider(CNRP)considers only its own interest and competes with other CNRPs,introducing multiple CNRPs will result in a lack of trust and difficulty in unified *** addition,concurrent users have different requirements,so there is an urgent need to study how to optimally match users and CNRPs on a many-to-many basis,to improve user satisfaction and ensure the utilization of limited *** this paper,we adopt a reputation model based on the beta distribution function to measure the credibility of CNRPs and propose a performance-based reputation update ***,we formalize the problem into a constrained multi-objective optimization problem and find feasible solutions using a modified fast and elitist non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm(NSGA-II).We conduct extensive simulations to evaluate the proposed *** results demonstrate that the proposed model and the problem formulation are valid,and the NSGA-II is effective and can find the Pareto set of CFN,which increases user satisfaction and resource ***,a set of solutions provided by the Pareto set give us more choices of the many-to-many matching of users and CNRPs according to the actual situation.

A Weakly-Supervised Crowd Density Estimation Method Based on Two-Stage Linear Feature Calibration

In a crowd density estimation dataset,the annotation of crowd locations is an extremely laborious task,and they are not taken into the evaluation *** this paper,we aim to reduce the annotation cost of crowd datasets,and propose a crowd density estimation method based on weakly-supervised learning,in the absence of crowd position supervision information,which directly reduces the number of crowds by using the number of pedestrians in the image as the supervised *** this purpose,we design a new training method,which exploits the correlation between global and local image features by incremental learning to train the ***,we design a parent-child network(PC-Net)focusing on the global and local image respectively,and propose a linear feature calibration structure to train the PC-Net simultaneously,and the child network learns feature transfer factors and feature bias weights,and uses the transfer factors and bias weights to linearly feature calibrate the features extracted from the Parent network,to improve the convergence of the network by using local features hidden in the crowd *** addition,we use the pyramid vision transformer as the backbone of the PC-Net to extract crowd features at different levels,and design a global-local feature loss function(L2).We combine it with a crowd counting loss(LC)to enhance the sensitivity of the network to crowd features during the training process,which effectively improves the accuracy of crowd density *** experimental results show that the PC-Net significantly reduces the gap between fullysupervised and weakly-supervised crowd density estimation,and outperforms the comparison methods on five datasets of Shanghai Tech Part A,ShanghaiTech Part B,UCF_CC_50,UCF_QNRF and JHU-CROWD++.

Trace element compositions of pyrite and stibnite:implications for the genesis of antimony mineralization in the Yangla Cu skarn deposit,Northwestern Yunnan,China

The Yangla Cu skarn deposit is located in the central part of the Jinshajiang Suture Zone,southwest China,with a total reserve of 150 Mt Cu@1.03%.The newly discovered antimony orebodies at the depth of Yangla are strictly controlled by the stratum,structure,and lithology,which are lenticular and vein-like within the marble fracture zone,which can provide a window into multistage miner-alization and ore genesis at *** can be divided into three types,Cu–Pb–Zn(skarn)pyrite,galena,and sphalerite,Cu(porphyry)chalcopyrite and pyrite,and Sb(hydrothermal)stibnite and *** mineral assem-blages were stibnite+pyrite+calcite+quartz±minor scheelite in antimony *** study presents quantitative measurements of the trace element compositions of pyrite and stibnite from the Yangla antimony *** of pyrite with electron probe microanalysis(EPMA)showed enrichment in Co,Ni,Sb,As,and Mo,and deficit in its S and Fe contents when compared to the stoichiometric con-centrations of S and Fe in *** Sb-related pyrite may belong to sedimentary-reworked genesis and may be modi-fied by hydrothermalfluids,thereby presenting a certain dif-ference(i.e.,crystal morphology,texture,and chemical com-position)compared to the skarn and porphyry Cu-related pyrite in the Yangla Cu skarn *** of stibnite with EPMA and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrom-etry showed enrichment in As,Pb,Sn,Pb,Cu,and Zn,and presented much higher Sb contents and slightly lower S con-tents when compared to the stoichiometric concentrations of Sb and S in *** analysis of the stibnite trace elements showed correlations for the elemental pairs Cu–Pb,As–Sb,and Sn–Pb,and the coupled substitution equations Sb^(3+)↔Cu^(+)+Pb^(2+),Sb^(3+)↔As^(3+),and Sn^(2+)↔Pb^(2+)may be the major factors governed the incorporating Cu,Pb,As and Sn within the ***,this study preliminary shows that the antimony mineralization may belong to a car-bonate replacement h

Laser speckle contrast imaging to predict the effect of temporary spinal cord stimulation in postherpetic neuralgia patients: A prospective observational study

Temporary spinal cord stimulation(tSCS)can effectively reduce the pain and severity of postherpetic neuralgia(PHN).However,there are no effective and objective methods for predicting the effects of tSCS on *** speckle contrast imaging(LSCI)is frequently used in neurology to evaluate the effectiveness of *** assess the accuracy of LSCI in predicting the impact of tSCS on PHN,14 adult patients receiving tSCS treatments for spinal nerve-innervated(C6-T2)PHN participated in this observational *** analog scale(VAS)assessments and LSCI bloodflow images of the-ngers were recorded after the tSCS *** results showed that the VAS scores of all patients decreased ***,the bloodflow index(BFI)values were signi-cantly higher than they were before the *** bloodflow and pain alleviation were positively ***-ndings indicated that spinal nerve PHN(C6-T2)was signi-cantly reduced by *** alleviation by tSCS was positively correlated with increased bloodflow in the *** effect of tSCS on PHN may thus be predicted using an independent and consistent indicator such as LSCI.
