In this work,aramid nanoparticles(ANPs)were prepared in dimethyl formamide(DMF)solution containing high impact polystyrene(HIPS)via a bottom-up *** electron microscopy(TEM)images showed that the obtained ANPs were evenly distributed in the HIPS matrix without any *** composition of the ANPs,i.e.,poly(p-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine)(PPTA),was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and X-ray diffractometer(XRD).The ANP/HIPS composites,obtained after ethanol precipitation,were added to neat HIPS as fillers to fabricate ANP/HIPS composite *** surface roughness and the glass transition temperature(T_g)of the sheets were characterized by atomic force microscope(AFM)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),*** with neat HIPS,the mechanical properties of the composite sheet were significantly improved,and the Young's modulus increased from 246.55 MPa to 2025.12 MPa,the tensile strength increased from 3.07 MPa to 29.76 MPa,and the toughness increased from 0.32 N/mm^2 to 3.92 N/mm^2,with an increase rate of 721%,869%and 1125%,***,the thermal stability of the composites improved with the increase in ANP content.

The similarities and differences in inherent mechanism and characteristic frequency between the onedimensional(1D) poroelastic model and the layered White model were investigated. This investigation was conducted under the assumption that the rock was homogenous and isotropic at the mesoscopic scale. For the inherent mechanism, both models resulted from quasi-static flow in a slow P-wave diffusion mode, and the differences between them originated from saturated fluids and boundary conditions. On the other hand, for the characteristic frequencies of the models, the characteristic frequency of the 1D poroelastic model was first modified because the elastic constant and formula for calculating it were misused and then compared to that of the layered White model. Both of them moved towards higher frequencies with increasing permeability and decreasing viscosity and diffusion length. The differences between them were due to the diffusion length. The diffusion length for the 1D poroelastic model was determined by the sample length, whereas that for the layered White model was determined by the length of the representative elementary volume(REV). Subsequently, a numerical example was presented to demonstrate the similarities and differences between the models. Finally, published experimental data were interpreted using the 1D poroelastic model combined with the Cole-Cole *** prediction of the combined model was in good agreement with the experimental data, thereby validating the effectiveness of the 1D poroelastic model. Furthermore, the modified characteristic frequency in our study was much closer to the experimental data than the previous prediction, validating the effectiveness of our modification of the characteristic frequency of the 1D poroelastic model. We develop a numerical method for the time evolution of Gaussian wave packets on flat-band lattices in the presence of correlated *** achieve this,we introduce a method to generate random on-site energies with prescribed *** verify this method with a one-dimensional(1D)cross-stitch model,and find good agreement with analytical results obtained from the disorder-dressed evolution *** allows us to reproduce previous findings,that disorder can mobilize 1D flat-band states which would otherwise remain *** explained by the corresponding disorder-dressed evolution equations,such mobilization requires an asymmetric disorder-induced coupling to dispersive bands,a condition that is generically not fulfilled when the flat-band is resonant with the dispersive bands at a Dirac point-like *** exemplify this with the 1D Lieb *** analytical expressions are not available for the two-dimensional(2D)system due to its complexity,we extend the numerical method to the 2D a–T3 model,and find that the initial flat-band wave packet preserves its localization when a=0,regardless of disorder and ***,when a̸=0,the wave packet shifts in real *** interpret this as a Berry phase controlled,disorder-induced wave-packet *** addition,we present density functional theory calculations of candidate materials,specifically Hg1−*** flat-band emerges near the G point(α=0)in the Brillouin zone.
