What is already known about this topic?The inclusion of meningococcal vaccines in the National Immunization Program(NIP)over several years has significantly reduced the incidence of meningococcal meningitis in China to historic ***,there has been a diversification of meningococcal serogroups,leading to a shift in dominant serogroups in China from serogroup A to serogroups C and B,accompanied by a rise in reports of serogroups Y and *** is added by this report?An outbreak of serogroup Y Neisseria meningitidis(Nm)in a secondary vocational school involved a single confirmed severe case and 24 individuals with laboratory-confirmed Nm *** investigation revealed that the outbreak was localized to the classroom of the confirmed *** close contact within a confined space was identified as a significant risk factor for Nm *** genotype sequence identified was type 1655(ST-1655),which is categorized under clonal complex 23(CC-23)and bears resemblance to 8 previously confirmed cases of serogroup Y meningococcal meningitis within Guangdong *** suggests that serogroup Y infections continue to sporadically emerge and have become prevalent *** are the implications for public health practice?This outbreak underscores the critical need to enhance surveillance of meningococcal serogroups and population carrier,and advocate for vaccination with MenY-containing vaccines.

Cell wall is the first physical barrier to aluminum(Al)*** of cell wall properties to change its binding capacity to Al is one of the major strategies for plant Al resistance;nevertheless,how it is regulated in rice remains largely *** this study,we show that exogenous application of putrescines(Put)could significantly restore the Al resistance of art1,a rice mutant lacking the central regulator Al RESISTANCE TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR 1(ART1),and reduce its Al accumulation particularly in the cell wall of root *** on RNA-sequencing,yeast-onehybrid and electrophoresis mobility shift assays,we identified an R2R3 MYB transcription factor OsMYB30 as the novel target in both ART1-dependent and Put-promoted Al ***,transient dual-luciferase assay showed that ART1 directly inhibited the expression of OsMYB30,and in turn repressed Os4CL5-dependent 4-coumaric acid accumulation,hence reducing the Al-binding capacity of cell wall and enhancing Al ***,Put repressed OsMYB30 expression by eliminating Alinduced H2O2accumulation,while exogenous H2O2promoted OsMYB30 *** concluded that ART1 confers Put-promoted Al resistance via repression of OsMYB30-regulated modification of cell wall properties in rice.

BACKGROUND Bradycardia-induced cardiomyopathy(BIC),which is a disease resulting from bradycardia,is characterized by cardiac chamber enlargement and diminished cardiac *** correction of bradycardia can allow for significant improvements in both cardiac function and structure;however,this disease has been infrequently *** this case,we conducted a longitudinal followup of a patient who had been enduring BIC for more than 40 years to heighten awareness and prompt timely diagnosis and rational *** SUMMARY A woman who presented with postactivity fatigue and dyspnea was diagnosed with bradycardia at the age of *** she had no obvious symptoms,she did not receive any treatment to improve her bradycardia during the 42-year follow-up,except for the implantation of a temporary pacemaker during labor induction *** time progressed,the patient's heart gradually expanded due to her low ventricular rate,and she was diagnosed with *** 2014,the patient developed atrial fibrillation,her ventricular rate gradually increased,and her heart shape gradually returned to *** report describes the cardiac morphological changes caused by the heart rate changes in BIC patients older than 40 years,introduces another possible outcome of BIC,and emphasizes the importance of early intervention in treating *** BIC can induce atrial fibrillation,causing an increased ventricular rate and leading to positive cardiac remodeling.

Clinical Value of the Quantitative Flow Ratio to Predict Long-term Target Vessel Failure in Patients with In-stent Restenosis after Drug-coated Balloon Angioplasty

Objective The study sought to investigate the clinical predictive value of quantitative flow ratio(QFR)for the long-term target vessel failure(TVF)outcome in patients with in-stent restenosis(ISR)by using drug-coated balloon(DCB)treatment after a long-term *** This was a retrospective study.A total of 186 patients who underwent DCB angioplasty for ISR in two hospitals from March 2014 to September 2019 were *** QFR of the entire target vessel was measured *** primary endpoint was TVF,including target vessel-cardiac death(TV-CD),target vessel-myocardial infarction(TV-MI),and clinically driven-target vessel revascularization(CD-TVR).Results The follow-up time was 3.09±1.53 years,and 50 patients had *** QFR immediately after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)was significantly lower in the TVF group than in the no-TVF *** Cox regression analysis indicated that the QFR immediately after PCI was an excellent predictor for TVF after the long-term follow-up[hazard ratio(HR):5.15×10−5(6.13×10−8−0.043);P<0.01].Receiver-operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis demonstrated that the optimal cut-off value of the QFR immediately after PCI for predicting the long-term TVF was 0.925(area under the curve:0.886,95%confidence interval:0.834–0.938;sensitivity:83.40%,specificity:88.00;P<0.01).In addition,QFR≤0.925 post-PCI was strongly correlated with the TVF,including TV-MI and CD-TVR(P<0.01).Conclusion The QFR immediately after PCI showed a high predictive value of TVF after a long-term follow-up in ISR patients who underwent DCB angioplasty.A lower QFR immediately after PCI was associated with a worse TVF outcome.

On the initiation,movement and deposition of a large landslide in Maoxian County,China

At 5 am 24 th June 2017, a catastrophic landslide hit Xinmo Village, Maoxian County, Sichuan Province, China. The slide mass rushed down from an altitude of 3400 m and traveled 2700 m in a high velocity. The 13 million m^3 deposition buried the whole village and caused about 100 deaths. The source area of the landslide is located in a high steep slope, average slope angle is 40o and maximal angle is 65o. The strata are interbedded Triassic Zagunao Formation metamorphic sandstone and slate with the dip slope angle of 45°. Based on high-resolution satellite remote sensing image, UAV image, DEM data, and field investigation, failure mechanism, travel features, and deposit characteristics were analyzed. The results showed that this landslide was influenced by Songpinggou Fault zone. According to the topography before the failure, the landslide is located in the back scarp of an antecedent landslide induced by Diexi Earthquake in 1933. The bedding slope provided potential rupture surface. Historical seismic activities and long-term gravitational deformation caused rock mass accumulated damages. Weathering and precipitation weakened the rock mass and finally induced shearing and tension failure. A huge block detached from the top rock slope, pushed the past landslide deposits in the middle part, rushed out of the slope bottom in a high velocity and buried the Xinmo Village. The rapid movement entrained and brought the soil into the Songping Gully which recoiled with and bounced back from the opposite mountain.

A Hybrid Ant Colony Optimization for the Prediction of Protein Secondary Structure

Based on the concept of ant colony optimization and the idea of population in genetic algorithm, a novel global optimization algorithm, called the hybrid ant colony optimization （HACO）, is proposed in this paper to tackle continuous-space optimization problems. It was compared with other well-known stochastic methods in the optimization of the benchmark functions and was also used to solve the problem of selecting appropriate dilation efficiently by optimizing the wavelet power spectrum of the hydrophobic sequence of protein, which is the key step on using continuous wavelet transform （CWT） to predict a-helices and connecting peptides.

A Cooperative Approach for the Extraction of Protein Motifs

By integrating the concept of cooperative approach, an extension of the fast annealing coevolutionary algorithm is presented in this paper. It outperformed the original algorithm in the domain of function optimization, especially in terms of convergence rate. It was also applied to a real optimization problem, protein motif extraction. And a satisfactory result has been obtained with the accuracy of prediction achieving 67.0%, which is in agreement with the result in the PROSITE database.

尘肺病患者门诊与住院服务利用情况及影响因素分析

目的了解尘肺病患者门诊与住院服务利用情况及其影响因素。方法采取便利抽样方法，在四川大学华西第四医院选取共199名尘肺病患者，使用中国疾病预防控制中心编制的《尘肺病患者就医行为及其影响因素问卷》调查其人群特征、就医行为... 详细信息

目的了解尘肺病患者门诊与住院服务利用情况及其影响因素。方法采取便利抽样方法，在四川大学华西第四医院选取共199名尘肺病患者，使用中国疾病预防控制中心编制的《尘肺病患者就医行为及其影响因素问卷》调查其人群特征、就医行为与影响因素。采用多因素logistic回归模型与多因素poisson回归模型分析患者门诊与住院服务利用的影响因素。结果调查的尘肺病患者两周门诊率为27.6%，一年利用门诊次数中位数为2次；一年住院率为61.8%，对已住院患者，一年住院次数中位数为1次，住院累积天数中位数为30 d；患者平均直观式健康标尺（VAS）得分为（48.3±17.4）分。多因素logistic回归与多因素poisson回归分析显示，已参加基础医保（OR=0.067,95%CI:0.006～0.716）、用药频率更高（OR=0.100,95%CI:0.037～0.269）、VAS得分更低（OR=0.992,95%CI:0.988～0.997）的尘肺病患者利用门诊服务更少，近期出现咳嗽加重（OR=5.530,95%CI:2.446～12.501）、有工伤保险（OR=1.183,95%CI:1.015～1.379）、收入较低（OR=0.980,95%CI:0.965～0.997）的尘肺病患者利用门诊服务更多；已婚（OR=0.063,95%CI:0.005～0.771）、VAS得分更低（OR=8.463,95%CI:3.090～23.248）的尘肺病患者利用住院服务更少；用药频率更高（OR=8.463,95%CI:3.090～23.248）、合并肺心病（OR=1.855,95%CI:1.307～2.634）、获得尘肺赔偿（OR=3.358,95%CI:1.183～9.529）、获得社会救济（OR=1.402,95%CI:1.047～1.877）、更主动与病友交流病情（OR=2.158,95%CI:1.061～4.390）的尘肺病患者利用住院服务更多。结论尘肺病患者门诊与住院利用率均高于全国平均水平。尘肺病患者自身健康状况、经济水平和社会支持水平是影响其就医行为的重要因素。
