Effectivity and safety of trifocal intraocular lenses and capsular tension rings implantation for cataract patients with axial high myopia

●AIM:To assess effectivity and safety of trifocal intraocular lenses(IOLs)and capsular tension rings in treating cataract patients with axial high myopia.●METHODS:A prospective nonrandomized controlled clinical trial was *** 98 eyes(74 patients)who underwent femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery(FLACS)with trifocal IOLs were enrolled in the study and followed up for 2y after surgery:46 eyes(33 patients)with capsular tension ring implantation in the long axial lengths(AL)group(260.05).The dysfunctional lens index and total modulation transfer function(MTF)average height were similar between the two *** postoperative internal coma aberrations in the axial high myopia eyes were significantly higher than that in the normal AL group(P<0.05).The total satisfaction score in the long AL group(91.32±2.76)was slightly higher than that in the normal AL group(90.36±3.47),but there was no difference(P=0.136).A statistically negative correlation was found between corrected distance visual acuity(CDVA)and dysfunctional lens index(r=-0.382,P=0.009),and between CDVA and the total MTF average height(r=-0.374,P=0.01).But there was no significant correlation between CDVA and total satisfaction score(r=0.059,P=0.696).Postoperative complications mainly presented as posterior capsular opacity(PCO),retinal detachment and cystoid macular *** was no difference in the incidenc

Effects of External Electric Field on AlN Precipitation and Recrystallization Texture of Deep-drawing 08Al Killed Steel Sheet

The effects of an electric field on AIN precipitation and recrystallization texture were investigated. Cold-rolled 08Al killed steel sheets were annealed at 550℃ according to the two-step processes, for various maintaining times, with and without applying an electric field. It was found that the electric field promotes the precipitation of the second phase （AlN particles）, strengthens the γ-fiber and weakens the α-fiber texture component in the recrystallized specimens. A possible explanation for the reinforcement of γ-fiber texture by the electric field is that the second phase AIN particle promotes the growth of γ-fiber at the expense of differently oriented grains.

本研究旨在探索人脐带间充质干细胞(huCMSCs)对妊娠期糖尿病(GDM)模型小鼠血糖控制的有效性及其作用机制,为治疗GDM研究新的方法。研究采用组织块培养法获得huCMSCs,使用D12451高脂饲料饲养雌性小鼠后腹腔注射链脲佐菌素(STZ)溶液诱导2型糖尿病,再将2型糖尿病的小鼠雄雌合笼过夜,次日早上以阴栓及镜检精子记为妊娠第1天,妊娠第4天测空腹血糖。空腹血糖浓度>11.2 mmol/L,并出现多饮、多食、多尿者定为GDM模型小鼠。通过尾静脉注射5×10^(5)个huCMSCs治疗GDM模型小鼠,检测血糖、血清炎症因子、巨噬细胞、胰岛病理切片等指标的变化来分析huCMSCs对GDM小鼠的作用。结果发现:经huCMSCs治疗的GDM模型小鼠的血糖水平显著降低(0.001huCMSCs治疗后小鼠胰岛β细胞相对α细胞比率显著上升(0.001huCMSCs治疗后促炎因子白介素-1β(IL-1β)的表达降低(PhuCMSCs共培养的小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞M1型巨噬细胞表达增加。本研究表明,huCMSCs治疗能在一定程度上降低GDM小鼠的血糖水平,并有效影响其免疫调节作用,对于治疗小鼠GDM有积极的作用。

Machine-learned augmentations to turbulence models can be advantageous for flows within the training dataset but can often cause harm *** lack of generalizability arises because the constants(as well as the functions)in a Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes(RANS)model are coupled,and un-constrained re-calibration of these constants(and functions)can disrupt the calibrations of the baseline model,the preservation of which is critical to the model's *** safeguard the behaviors of the baseline model beyond the training dataset,machine learning must be constrained such that basic calibrations like the law of the wall are kept *** letter aims to identify such constraints in two-equation RANS models so that future machine learning work can be performed without violating these *** demonstrate that the identified constraints are not ***,they help preserve the generalizability of the baseline model.

Prognostic prediction in gastric cancer patients without serosal invasion: comparative study between UICC 7^(th) edition and JCGS 13^(th) edition N-classification systems

Objective： T-stage and N-stage have been proven to be the most important factors influencing survival in gastric cancer patients, and have been accepted for use in the Japanese Classification of Gastric Carcinoma（JCGC） and the Union International Cancer Control（UICC-TNM） staging systems. The purpose of this study was to compare the prognostic values of the different N classification systems in gastric cancer patients without serosal ***： We retrospectively compared the clinicopathological results of 1,115 patients with primary gastric cancer who underwent curative gastric resection.Results： Serosal invasion was identified in 212 of 1,115 patients（19.0%）, and it was associated with lymph node metastasis according to the JCGC^13th（P〈0.001） and TNM^7th（P〈0.001） systems. The 5-year survival rate for the serosal invasion-negative patients（78.2%） was significantly higher than that for the serosal invasion-positive patients（31.1%）（P〈0.001）. Multivariate Cox regression survival analysis showed that depth of invasion（P=0.013）, 13 th JCGC PN stage（P〈0.001）, and 7th TNM PN stage（P〈0.001） were independent prognostic factors for serosal invasion-negative gastric cancer patients.Conclusions： The prognosis of gastric cancer patients with serosal invasion is very poor. Both the 13 th JCGC and 7th TNM N-staging systems were able to accurately estimate the prognosis of gastric cancer patients, but the 7th TNM system was simpler and easier to use.

It is still a formidable challenge to simultaneously switch single-chain magnet(SCM)behavior via ligand modification and light irradiation in the field of molecular ***,we present a ligandbridged layer{[pzTpFe(CN)3]4Co2(Bib)4}·3H2O(1;pzTp,tetra-kis(1-pyrazolyl)borate;Bib,1,4-bis-(1Himidazol-1-yl)benzene)and a well-isolated double chain{[pzTpFe(CN)3]2Co(Bpi)2}·CH3CN·4H2O(2;Bpi,1-Biphenyl-4-yl-1H-imidazole)that display reversible metal-to-metal charge transfer(MMCT)between FeIII LS(μ-CN)CoII HS(μ-NC)FeIII LS(LS,low spin;HS,high spin)and FeIII LS(μ-CN)CoIII LS(μ-NC)FeII LS linkages under alternating irradiation with 808 and 532 nm *** bidirectional light irradiations induces significant changes in anisotropy and intrachain magnetic interactions,resulting in the on/off switching of SCM behavior with observable hysteresis loops by 808 and 532 nm light irradiations for both *** of the ligand modification,the SCM property of 2 with the monodentate ligand is greatly improved with a correlation length increased to 83,which is the largest correlation length among all reported light actuated ***,the influence of ligand modification on their thermally induced MMCT is also *** study provides a rational approach for the swift and reversible control of SCM behavior via ligand modified and light induced MMCT,which is crucial to the future technological demand for high-density data storage and processing.

Transient small bowel angioedema due to intravenous iodinated contrast media

Sequential pyrolysis for understanding specific influence of cellulose- and lignin-derived volatiles on properties of counterpart char

Interactions of cellulose-and lignin-derived intermediates have been well documented during pyrolysis of lignocellulosic *** reaction network for the interactions is rather complex,as cellulose-derived volatiles could interact/react with not only lignin-derived volatiles but also lignin-derived char and vice *** probe specifically the impacts of cellulose-derived volatiles on the lignin-derived char or the opposite,herein the sequential pyrolysis was performed by arranging cellulose in the upper bed with lignin in the lower bed or lignin above with cellulose below at 350 and 650℃,*** results indicated that the sequential pyrolysis of cellulose→lignin or lignin→cellulose at 350℃induced increased char yield from formation of carbonaceous deposits via volatiles-char *** with the lignin-derived volatiles,the cellulose-derived volatiles,especially aldehyde fractions,were more reactive towards the lignin-derived char at 350℃,forming oxygen-rich lignin-derived char with a higher yield,an abundance of aliphatic structures and consequently lower thermal *** sequential pyrolysis of lignin→cellulose,more aromatics-rich species were deposited on cellulose-derived char,but the lignin-derived volatiles were less reactive for enhancing the char *** 650℃,instead of polymerisation of the volatiles on the char,either the cellulose-or lignin-derived char catalyzed the cracking of the counterpart volatiles to remove the aliphatic functionalities,which made the char more aromatic and thermally more stable.
