BACKGROUND Portal venous thromboembolism caused by malignant pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor metastasis,as the initial presentation of portal hypertension and upper gastrointestinal bleeding,is a rare *** our knowledge,there are no reports of this entity in pregnant *** describe a case of pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma during pregnancy with hematemesis and hematochezia as the initial presentation and review the literature to analyze the demographic,clinical,and pathological features to provide a reference for clinical diagnosis and *** SUMMARY A 40-year-old woman presented with hematemesis and hematochezia at 26-wk gestation;she had no other remarkable medical *** physical examination revealed normal vital signs,an anemic appearance,and lower abdominal *** color Doppler ultrasonography showed portal vein thrombosis,splenomegaly,intrauterine pregnancy,and intrauterine fetal *** revealed esophageal and gastric varicose veins and portal hypertensive ***-enhanced computed tomography demonstrated multiple emboli formation in the portal and splenic veins,multiple round shadows in the liver with a slightly lower density,portal vein broadening,varicose veins in the lower esophagus and gastric fundus,splenomegaly,bilateral pleural effusion,ascites and pelvic effusion,broadening of the common bile duct,and increased uterine *** to the results of Positron emission tomography-computed tomography and immunohistochemical staining,the final diagnoses were that the primary lesion was a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor and that there were secondary intrahepatic metastases and venous cancer *** Upper gastrointestinal bleeding in a pregnant woman may be caused by portal hypertension due to a malignant pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor.

The increase in payload capacity of trucks has heightened the demand for cost-effective yet high performance brake *** this work,the thermal fatigue and wear of compacted graphite iron brake discs were investigated,aiming to provide an experimental foundation for achieving a balance between their thermal and mechanical *** graphite iron brake discs with different tensile strengths,macrohardnesses,specific heat capacities and thermal diffusion coefficients were produced by changing the proportion and strength of *** peak temperature,pressure load and friction coefficient of compacted graphite iron brake discs were analyzed through inertia friction *** morphology of thermal cracks and 3D profiles of the worn surfaces were also *** is found that the thermal fatigue of compacted graphite iron discs is determined by their thermal properties.A compacted graphite iron with the highest specific heat capacity and thermal diffusion coefficient exhibits optimal thermal fatigue *** of the matrix at low temperatures significantly weakens the function of alloy strengthening in hindering the propagation of thermal *** the reduced hardness,increasing the ferrite proportion can mitigate wear loss resulting from low disc temperatures and the absence of abrasive wear.

Study on Age and Education Level and Their Relationship with Fall-Related Injuries in Shanghai, China

Objective To study age and educational level and their relationship with fall-related injuries in Shanghai and to analyze the relevant costs. Methods Multistage cluster sampling was used for the selection of participants and standardized questionnaires were used for the information collection in 2006. Information on cases and deaths caused by fall-related injuries were obtained from 494 hospitals as well as from the mortality registry systems from 2001 till 2010. Results Of 45 857 participates, 674 suffered from fall-related injuries with the largest proportion among all injuries. The fall-related mortality increased from 10.63 per 100 000 in 2001 to 14.11 per 100 000 in 2010. The under-five mortality rate was the highest among children aged 0-14 years. Mortality increased dramatically among those aged 55 or above for the female and aged 60 or older for the male. Individuals with an educational level under the primary school were more likely to suffer fall-related injuries, accounting for 72.66% of all deaths and 49.24% of nonfatal cases respectively. The annual burden of fall-related injuries equated to 25.90% of the share of GDP for the healthcare, social security and welfare industries in 2006. Conclusion Fall-related injuries were inversely related to victims＇ educational level. Children under the age of 5, women over 55 years old and men over 60 years old with an educational level lower than the primary school are the most risky groups of populations for intervention measures.

Regulation of activin receptor-interacting protein 2 expression in mouse hepatoma Hepa1-6 cells and its relationship with collagen type Ⅳ

AIM： To investigate the regulation of activin receptor-interacting protein 2 （ARIP2） expression and its possible relationships with collagen type Ⅳ （collagen Ⅳ） in mouse hepatoma cell line Hepal-6 cells. METHODS： The ARIP2 mRNA expression kinetics in Hepal-6 cells was detected by RT-PCR, and its regulation factors were analyzed by treatment with signal transduction activators such as phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate （PMA）, forskolin and A23187. After pcDNA3- ARIP2 was transfected into Hepal-6 cells, the effects of ARIP2 overexpression on activin type Ⅱ receptor （ActRⅡ） and collagen Ⅳ expression were evaluated. RESULTS： The expression levels of ARIP2 mRNA in Hapel-6 cells were elevated in time-dependent manner 12 h after treatment with activin A and endotoxin LPS, but not changed evidently in the early stage of stimulation （2 or 4 h）. The ARIP2 mRNA expression was increased after stimulated with signal transduction activators such as PMA and forskolin in Hepal-6 cells, whereas decreased after treatment with A23187 （25.3% ± 5.7% vs 48.1% ± 3.6%, P 〈 0.01）. ARIP2 overexpression could remarkably suppress the expression of ActRⅡA mRNA in dose-dependent manner, but has no effect on ActRⅡB in Hepal-6 cells induced by activin A. Furthermore, we have found that overexpression of ARIP2 could inhibit collagen Ⅳ mRNA and protein expressions induced by activin A in Hapel-6 cells. CONCLUSION： These findings suggest that ARIP2 expression can be influenced by various factors. ARIP2 may participate in the negative feedback regulation of signal transduction in the late stage by affecting the expression of ActRIIA and play an important role in regulation of development of liver fibrosis induced by activin.

Characteristics of Radar Echo Parameters and Microphysical Structure Simulation of a Short-Time Heavy Precipitation Supercell

By using the conventional observations, radar data, NCEP/NCAR FNL 1°×1° reanalysis data and numerical simulation data and with the construction and calculation of radar echo parameters, this paper presents the structural characteristics and physical processes of a short-time heavy precipitation supercell that occurred in the squall line process in Shanxi Province on 24 June 2020. The results show that this squall line event occurred in front of a surface cold front,combined with infiltration of low-level cold air and continuous increase of near-surface humidity in the afternoon. The surface mesoscale convergence line and mesoscale dew point front contributed to the development and systemization of the squall line by a large degree. The short-time extremely heavy precipitation in Pingshun County was caused by the development of a supercell from thunderstorm cells on the front side of the squall line. The characteristics of sharp increase in vertical integral liquid water content, persistent increase in reflectivity factor and continuous rise in the echo top height appeared about 23 min earlier than the severe precipitation, which has qualitative indicating significance for the nowcasting of short-time heavy precipitation. A quantitative analysis of the radar echo parameters suggests that the“sudden drop”of FV40was a precursor signal of cells’ coalescence and rapid development to the mature stage. The areal change of the echo core at the 6 km height was highly subject to the merging and developing of cells, the rapid change of hydrometeor particles in clouds and the precipitation intensity. Changes in the cross-sectional area of convective cells at different heights can indirectly reflect the changes of liquid particles and ice particles in clouds, which is indicatively meaningful for predicting the coalescing and developing-to-maturing of cells and heavy precipitation 30-45 min earlier.A comprehensive echo parameter prediction model constructed by the random forest p

基于瞬态热线法,设计了粮堆导热特性试验装置,研究了小麦粮堆在压力0~73.9 kPa、含水率8.50%~20.72%时导热系数的变化规律。结果表明:当含水率一定时,导热系数与压力呈线性增长关系;当含水率分别为8.50%和20.72%时,随着压力从0增大至73.9 kPa,导热系数分别增长21.1%和36.6%。当压力为0时导热系数k1与含水率呈线性增长关系;导热系数随压力变化率c1与含水率呈线性增长关系;当压力一定时,导热系数与含水率呈线性增长关系;当压力分别为0、73.9 kPa时,随着含水率从8.50%增大至20.72%,导热系数分别增长50.6%和69.2%。含水率为0时的导热系数不随压力变化,为0.074 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)。导热系数随着含水率的变化率c_(2)与压力呈线性增长关系。

In this work,we study the poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)structure in aqueous dispersion with small-angle X-ray scattering(SAXS).In-depth structure analysis is achieved based on a set of complementary and sophisticated algorithms,which provide not only shape and packing of chains but also 3D structure of the *** structure information of the PEDOT chain was extracted from the well-known guinier,Porod and pair distance distribution function(PDDF)analysis of the SAXS data,while the 3D modelling was achieved with the DAMMIF and DAMAVER programs in ATSAS software *** the best of our knowledge,we first establish the 3D model of the PEDOT:PSS colloids’structure that will help people to understand the supramolecular assembly in aqueous dispersion,which sheds light on the solution structure study of polymers that are widely used in daily life.

5,11,17,23-Tetra-tert-butyl-25, 27-bis（7＇-methoxycoumarin-3＇-methyloxy）-26, 28-dihydroxycalix[4]arene was synthesized and characterized. The derivative could recognize L-tryptophan with a 1：1 complexing ratio and an apparent equilibrium constant of 111 L mol^-1 in DMF acetonitrile as solvent by UV-visible and fluorescent spectrophotometry.

SIMULATION OF BOUNDARY LAYER EFFECTS ON A HEAVY RAINFALL EVENT CAUSED BY A MESOSCALE CONVECTIVE SYSTEM OVER THE YELLOW RIVER MIDSTREAM AREA

A heavy rainfall event caused by a mesoscale convective system(MCS),which occurred over the Yellow River midstream area during 7-9 July 2016,was analyzed using observational,high-resolution satellite,NCEP/NCAR reanalysis,and numerical simulation *** heavy rainfall event was caused by one mesoscale convective complex(MCC)and five MCSs *** MCC rainstorm occurred when southwesterly winds strengthened into a *** MCS rainstorms occurred when low-level wind fields weakened,but their easterly components in the lower and boundary layers increased *** analysis revealed that there were obvious differences between the MCC and MCS rainstorms,including their three-dimensional airflow structure,disturbances in wind fields and vapor distributions,and characteristics of energy conversion and *** of the MCC was related to southerly conveyed water vapor and energy to the north,with obvious water vapor exchange between the free atmosphere and the boundary *** regeneration and development of the MCSs mainly relied on maintenance of an upward extension of a positive water vapor *** MCC rainstorm was triggered by large range of convergent ascending motion caused by a southerly jet,and easterly disturbance within the boundary *** a southerly fluctuation and easterly disturbance in the boundary layer were important triggers of the MCS *** and development of the MCC and MCSs were linked to secondary circulation,resulting from convergence of Ekman non-equilibrium flow in the boundary *** intensity and motion of the convergence centers in MCC and MCS cases were ***,sub-synoptic scale systems in the middle troposphere played a leading role in determining precipitation distribution during this *** mesoscale systems triggered by the sub-synoptic scale system induced the heavy rainfall,small-scale disturbances within the boundary layer determined its inte
