In non-small cell lung cancers,the non-squamous and squamous subtypes（nsqNSCLC and sqNSCLC） exhibit disparities in pathophysiology,tumor immunology,and potential genomic correlates affecting responses to immune checkpoint inhibitor（ICI）-based *** our inhouse training cohort（n=85）,the presence of the LRP1B deleterious mutation（LRP1B-del） was associated with longer and shorter progression-free survival（PFS） on ICIs alone in nsqNSCLCs and sqNSCLCs,respectively(Pinteraction=0.008).These results were validated using a larger public ICI cohort(n=208,Pinteractionlizumab over docetaxel(hazard ratio（HR）=0.70,P=0.046),whereas this benefit was negligible in those without LRP1B-del（HR=1.05,P=0.64）.Conversely,sqNSCLCs without LRP1B-del benefited more from atezolizumab（HR=0.60,P=0.002） than those with LRP1B-del（HR=1.30,P=0.31）.Consistent results were observed in the in-house CHOICE-01 cohort,in which nsqNSCLCs with LRP1B-del and sqNSCLCs without LRP1B-del benefited more from toripalimab plus chemotherapy than from chemotherapy alone(Pinteraction=0.008).This multi-cohort study delineates the antithetical impacts of LRP1B-del in nsqNSCLCs and sqNSCLCs on predicting the benefits from ICI alone or with chemotherapy over chemotherapy *** findings highlight the distinct clinical utility of LRP1B-del in guiding treatment choices for nsqNSCLCs and sqNSCLCs,emphasizing the necessity for a detailed analysis based on pathological subtypes when investigating biomarkers for cancer therapeutics.

Developing a cost-effective and environmentally friendly process for the production of valuable chemicals from abundant herbal biomass receives great attentions in recent ***,taking advantage of the“lignin first”strategy,corn straw is converted to valuable chemicals including lignin monomers,furfural and 5-methoxymethylfurfural via a two steps *** key of this research lies in the development of a green and low-cost catalytic process utilizing magnetic Raney Ni catalyst and high boiling point ethylene *** utilization of neat ethylene glycol as the sole slovent under atmospheric conditions obviates the need for additional additives,thereby facilitating the entire process to be conducted in glass flasks and rendering it highly convenient for scaling *** the initial step,depolymerization of corn straw lignin resulted in a monomer yield of 18.1 wt%.Subsequently,in a dimethyl carbonate system,the carbohydrate component underwent complete conversion in a one-pot process,yielding furfural and 5-methoxymethylfurfural as the primary products with an impressive yield of 47.7%.

Unveiling the relationship between Fabry-Perot laser structures and optical field distribution via symbolic regression

In recent years, machine learning (ML) techniques have been shown to be effective in accelerating the development process of optoelectronic devices. However, as"black box"models, they have limited theoretical interpretability. In this work, we leverage symbolic regression (SR) technique for discovering the explicit symbolic relationship between the structure of the optoelectronic Fabry-Perot (FP) laser and its optical field distribution, which greatly improves model transparency compared to ML. We demonstrated that the expressions explored through SR exhibit lower errors on the test set compared to ML models, which suggests that the expressions have better fitting and generalization capabilities.

Surface analysis of tablets with and without coating film for common cold based on laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy

Medications for common cold are used routinely in daily life， and most of these are compounded to be more effective for people suffering from common cold. The composition and quality of the coating， a common component of tablets， have been of great concern. In this paper， laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (liBS)， with advantages of rapid， real-time， and in-situ analysis， was used for surface analysis of tablets with and without coating film for common cold. Firstly， the spectra of compound paracetamol and amantadine hydrochloride tablets (CPAHT) and compound diclofenac sodium and chlorphenamine maleate tablets (CDSCMT)， without and with coating film， respectively， were analyzed. Secondly， two kinds of tablets were investigated in-situ at depth to analyze the changes of atomic and molecular spectral line intensities under different number of laser pulses and verified using liBS imaging method. Finally， the Ca and Ti elements in CDSCMT were analyzed by calibration free liBS (CF-liBS) to further verify the elemental content differences at different depth in the tablets with coating film. These results indicate that the liBS technology can be used in fast， in-situ， depth， and multi-element detection for cold medication tablets.

Multivariate synergy for heightening ionic HOF robustness and proton conductivity

Multicomponent crystalline materials construct more complex and diversified structures with different combinations and modes,which expands the material structure space and application *** this work,we have successfully synthesized two twocomponent ionic hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks （iHOF-32 and iHOF-33） and a three-component iHOF （iHOF-34）.Guanidine hydrochloride which is rich in N and H and has a short chain length strengthens the hydrogen bonding network of iHOF,thereby aiding in the efficient migration of *** rigid architecture of 1,1'-diamino-4,4'-bipyridine diiodide furnishes additional scaffolding for the iHOFs and enhances its robustness under harsh ***-34 accomplishes the combination of the ultra-high proton conductivity of iHOF-32 and the robustness of iHOF-33 by the synergistic interaction among the three components of *** addition,iHOF-34 was fabricated as a composite membrane with a peak proton conductivity of 1.55×10-1S cm-1,which is 3.8 times higher than that of recast Nafion,and has extensive potential in fuel *** self-assembly strategy of multicomponent HOFs opens up new avenues for constructing diverse structures while promising new opportunities for applications in the fields of proton conduction and energy storage.

敦煌三危山出产多色颜料的矿物学及谱学特征研究

敦煌三危山火焰沟发现一处古代多色颜料开采遗址,该遗址的发现对研究我国西北地区古代矿物颜料的来源有着一定的学术意义。为判断三危山出产颜料的矿物种属及其谱学特征,本文应用偏光显微镜、X射线衍射、激光拉曼光谱、X射线荧光光谱多种光谱分析手段对所出产多色颜料矿物开展科学分析。结果表明,三危山古矿出产矿物颜料属天然矿物,主要化学成分为Fe_(2)O_(3)(平均含量66%)和SiO_(2)等,部分样品呈现富硅铝的特征,且均存在不同程度的烧失;主要物相以赤铁矿、针铁矿为主,少许铁矾类,脉石矿物包括石英、高岭石及少许黏土矿物。同时进一步通过拉曼光谱对矿物颜料的显色物相进行分析,2号亮黄色矿物显色物相和前述主要物相一致,均为铁矾类(黄钾铁矾和黄钠铁矾)。除4号样品外,所有呈红棕色的样品主要显色物相均为α-Fe_(2)O_(3)即赤铁矿,而4号样品显色物相为针铁矿,呈色本应为黄色,但致其呈色变为红棕色是由于和赤铁矿伴生存在,且赤铁矿显色能力远强于针铁矿,故改变了4号样品的呈色。综上,该古矿遗址所出产的红色矿物颜料主要为赤铁矿,黄色矿物颜料为黄钾铁矾和黄钠铁矾。黄钾铁矾作为优良的颜料,在岩画及壁画也多有使用,但在莫高窟目前已研究的壁画上暂未发现使用,三危山古矿实证了铁矾类颜料矿物的存在,该发现在一定程度上拓宽了对西北地区黄色矿物颜料的维度。同时也为后续研究该矿冶遗址出产颜料的流向,提供了基础性的数据支撑。

Coseismic surface ruptures of MW7.8 and MW7.5 earthquakes occurred on February 6, 2023, and seismic hazard assessment of the East Anatolian Fault Zone, Southeastern Türkiye

On February 6, 2023, southeastern Türkiye experienced a devastating earthquake doublet along the East Anatolian Fault（EAF）, with moment magnitude（MW） values of 7.8 and 7.5. These strong earthquakes resulted in at least 50,000 deaths and severe economic losses. Systematic research on coseismic surface ruptures induced by these events is vital for assessing the cascade rupture behaviors of plate boundary faults and future seismic hazards in the region. Interpretation of high-resolution post-earthquake satellite images and field investigations yielded the following results:（1） the two strong earthquakes had separate rupture zones. The first earthquake generated an approximately 280 km coseismic surface rupture along the southwestern segment of the main EAF, with 241 left-lateral displacements reaching up to 6.8±0.68 m, particularly 40 km northeast of the epicenter. The second earthquake produced a roughly 110 km surface rupture on an east-west branch of the EAF, with maximum displacements of 7.2±0.72 m.（2） The MW7.8 earthquake resulted in a cascading rupture across multiple segments of the southwestern section of the main EAF, with significantly variable displacements. The northeastern and southwestern parts of the main EAF and Malatya Fault remain at risk of strong earthquakes in the future.（3） The EAF rupture zone is densely populated, and due to the site amplification effect of loose sediments on foreland alluvial fans, foundation failures of buildings in the populated areas are common. Therefore, it is crucial to enhance the future seismic fortification capabilities in urban and rural areas along the EAF.

Thermally triggered topological polymerization in diacetylene-functionalized covalent organic framework toward enhanced memristive properties

The development of stimuli-responsive switching memory devices and the elucidation of their switching mechanisms in specific environments are crucial for advancing the field of molecular electronics. Herein, we propose two distinct two-dimensional covalent organic frameworks (COFs), namely Py-EDA and Py-BDA, incorporating acetylene (-C≡C-) or diacetylene(-C≡C-C≡C-) moieties, respectively, targeting fabricate memory devices exhibiting stimuli-responsive switching *** findings demonstrate that the incorporation of acetylene units effectively modulates the electronic band structure and enhances the degree ofπ-conjugation, resulting in devices that exhibit typical bipolar nonvolatile memory performance. Notably,upon thermal treatment, the memory behavior of the ITO/Py-BDA/Ag device transitions to a write-once-read-many-times(WORM) mode, displaying decreased SET voltage, increased ON/OFF current ratio, and remarkable retention reliability and cycle stability. This switching behavior is attributed to the occurrence of interlayer solid-state topological polymerization at 350℃, leading to the transformation of diacetylene columnar arrays into enyne chains within Py-BDA, thereby further promoting interlayer charge transfer and separation.
