The morphology,particle size distribution and thermal properties of microcapsules were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy（SEm）,laser diffraction particle size analyzer and differential scanning calorimetry（DSC）.Vitamin A was used as model core material,HI-CAP 100（starch octenylsucciniate,OSA-starch） was used as wall material and prepared by spray *** emulsions were prepared with 40%（w/v） solution of total solids concentration at the core/wall material ratios of 40%（w/w）,the microencapsulation efficiency（mE） was（96.38 ± 0.71）%.microcapsules exhibited spherical shapes with characteristic dents as evidence by *** the vibrating frequency of the centrifugal granulation from 40,35,30,25 to 20 Hz,the volume diameter（D4,3） was 66.58,71.44,85.61,94.08,and 153.45 μm,*** scanning calorimetry（DSC） results revealed that the glass transition temperature（Tg） and melting temperature（Tm） were 56.355 and 208.300°C,*** A microcapsules produced with HI-CAP 100 exhibited spherical shapes with characteristic dents,which was attributed to drying and cooling solidification involved during *** vibrating frequency of the centrifugal granulation had effect on the particle size distribution of microcapsules（P 〈 0.05）.The storage and heating stability of microcapsules was well by thermal properties.

High-temperature chromium(Cr)-zirconium(Zr)interdiffusion commonly occurs in Cr-coated zircaloys applied for enhanced accident-tolerant fuel(ATF)clad*** interdiffusion changes the interfacial microstructure and thus the fracture mechanism of the coating under external *** this study,the interdiffusion behavior in a magnetron sputtered Cr coating deposited on a Zr-4 alloy was studied in a vacuum environment at 1160*** addition,the effect of interdiffusion on the microcracking behavior of the Cr coating was determined by in situ three-point bending *** experimental results show that the interdiffusion behavior resulted in the formation of a ZrCr2 layer,accompanied by the consumption of Cr coating and interfacial *** growth of the diffusion layer followed a nearly parabolic law with respect to annealing time,and the residual stress of the annealed coating decreased with increasing annealing *** external loading,a large number of cracks were generated in the brittle interlayer,and some interfacial cracks were formed and grew at the ZrCr2/Zr-4 *** the remarkable microcracks in the ZrCr2 layer,the vacuum-annealed Cr coating has significantly fewer cracks than the original coating,mainly because of the recrystallization of the coating during annealing.

Intermetallic Ti-xAl-8Nb（x = 41,43,45,47,49;at%） alloys were solidified unidirectionally upwards with a constant temperature gradient of G=3.8 K·mm^（-1）at wide range of growth rates of v=10-400 μm·s^（-1）using a Bridgman directional solidification（DS） *** parameters including the primary dendrite arm spacing（λ_1）,secondary dendrite arm spacing（λ_2）,dendrite tip radius（R） and mushy zone depth（d） were measured *** values of λ_1,λ_2,R and d decrease as the growth rate increases for a given composition（x）.The values of λ_1,λ_2,R and v increase with the increase in x value,while the value of d firstly increases and then decreases with the increase in x value for a given *** relationships between λ_1,λ_2 and R were analyzed by the linear *** average growth rate exponent of λ_1 is 0.29,which is in accordance with the previous experimental observations,and that of λ_2 is close to the previous experimental results,while those of R and d are lower than the results in other alloy *** addition,theoretical models for λ_1,λ_2 and R were compared with the experimental observations,and a comparison of the present experimental results with the theoretical models and previous experimental results was also made.

Pertussis toxin （FIX） inhibits the activation of the α-subunit of the inhibitory heterotrimeric G-proteins （Cαi/o） and modulates voltage-gated sodium channels, which may be one of the primary targets of pyrethroids. To investigate the potential mechanisms of agricultural pests resistance to pyrethroid insecticides, we examined the modulations by PTX on sodium channels in the central neurons of the 3rd-4th instar larvae of cyhalothrin-resistant （Cy-R） and cyhaiothrin-susceptible （Cy-S） helicoverpa armigera by the whole-cell patch-clamp technique. The isolated neurons were cultured for 12-16 h in an improved L15 insect culture medium with or without PTX （400 ng/mL）. The results showed that both the Cy-R and Cy-S sodium channels exhibited fast kinetics and tetrodotoxin （TTX） sensitivity. The Cy-R sodium channels exhibited not only altered gating properties, including a 8.88-mV right shift in voltage-dependent activation （V0.5act） and a 6.54-mV right shift in voltage-dependent inactivation （V0.5inact）, but also a reduced peak in sodium channel density （Ⅰdensity）（55.2% of that in Cy-S neurons）. Cy-R sodium channels also showed low excitability, as evidenced by right shift of activation potential （Ⅴacti） by 5-10 mV and peak potential （Ⅴpcak） by 20 mV. FIX exerted significant effects on Cy-S sodium channels, reducing sodium channel density by 70.04%, right shifting V0.5act by 14.41 mV and V0.5inact by 9. 38 mV. It did not cause any significant changes of the parameters mentioned above in the Cy-R sodium channels. The activation time （Tpeak） from latency to peak at peak voltage and the fast inactivation time constant （τinact） in both Cy-S and Cy-R neurons were not affected. The results suggest that cotton bollworm resistant to pyrethroid insecticides involves not only mutations and allosteric alterations of voltage-gated sodium channels, but also might implicate perturbation of PTX-sensitive Gαi/o-COupled signaling Wansduction pathways.

Reevaluating Data Stall Time with the Consideration of Data Access Concurrency

Data access delay has become the prominent performance bottleneck of high-end computing systems. The key to reducing data access delay in system design is to diminish data stall time. memory locality and concurrency are the two essential factors influencing the performance of modern memory systems. However, existing studies in reducing data stall time rarely focus on utilizing data access concurrency because the impact of memory concurrency on overall memory system performance is not well understood. In this study, a pair of novel data stall time models, the L-C model for the combined effort of locality and concurrency and the P-m model for the effect of pure miss on data stall time, are presented. The models provide a new understanding of data access delay and provide new directions for performance optimization. Based on these new models, a summary table of advanced cache optimizations is presented. It has 38 entries contributed by data concurrency while only has 21 entries contributed by data locality, which shows the value of data concurrency. The L-C and P-m models and their associated results and opportunities introduced in this study are important and necessary for future data-centric architecture and algorithm design of modern computing systems.

Seismic response of cracking features in Jubao mountain during the aftershocks of Jiuzhaigou ms7.0 earthquake

Jiuzhaigou is a world-heritage site located in the plateau area of Northwest Sichuan Province,*** slope failures in the epicentral area were triggered by the ms7.0 Jiuzhaigou earthquake occurred on August 8,*** source areas of the hazards are usually concentrated near ridge crests,revealingthe possible occurrence of ground motion amplification *** explore the role of the amplification of ground motions in the formation of earthquake-triggered slope failures,two seismometers were installed,on the next day after the main shock,at the bottom of the slopeof Jubao mountain near the seismogenic *** two monitoring sites are located at elevations of 1414 m(J1)and 1551 m(J2,the top of the mountain).Five aftershocks were recorded by the monitoring *** compared the mean levels of the peak ground acceleration(PGA)observed at different locations,and investigated the directional variations inthe shaking energy by analyzing the polar diagrams of the Arias intensity(Ia).Then,in order to identify the directional resonance phenomenonandtheir frequencies and amplification coefficients,we examined the horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio(HVSR)and the standard spectral ratio(SSR).Polar diagrams of theArias intensity(Ia)indicated that the site response of Jubao mountain showed a pronounced directivity(in theEW direction)with shaking maxima near the hill top oriented orthogonally to the elongation of the *** observed anobvious resonance phenomenonat site J2 at relatively low frequencies(2.5-9 Hz)and very weak spectral amplifications at site J1 at high frequencies(5-15 Hz),which suggested that the predominant frequency of monitoring site J2 was obviously attenuated and that the difference in the spectra was related to the influences of the local-scale site conditions of the whole *** results of spectral ratio analyses(HVSR and SSR)showed that the direction of resonance was concentrated around an EW orientation,and the amplification f

BACKGROUND: Anemia is prevalent in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement(TAVR) and has been linked to impaired outcomes after the procedure. Few studies have evaluated the impact of anemia and new ischemic lesions post ***: We prospectively enrolled 158 patients who received TAVR in our center. Anemia was defined according to the World health Organization criteria as hemoglobin men and men. All patients underwent diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(DW-mRI) procedure before and within 4–7 days after TAVR. RESULTS: Anemia was present in 85(53.8%) patients who underwent TAVR, and 126(79.7%) patients had 718 new DW-mRI positive lesions with a mean of 4.54±5.26 lesions per patient. The incidence of new ischemic lesions was 81.2% in patients with anemia versus 78.1% in patients without anemia(P=0.629). moreover, anemic patients had bigger total volume/lesions in the anterior cerebral artery/middle cerebral artery(ACA/mCA) and mCA regions compared to the non-anemic patients(31.89±55.78 mm^(3) vs. 17.08±37.39 mm^(3), P=0.049;and 54.54±74.72 mm^(3) vs. 33.75±46.03 mm^(3), P=0.034). Anemia was independently associated with the volume/lesion in the ACA/mCA(β=16.796, 95% confidence interval [95% CI] 2.001 to 31.591, P=0.026) and in the mCA zone(β=0.020, 95% CI 0.001 to 0.040, P=0.041). CONCLUSIONS: Patients with pre-procedural anemia may have bigger total volume/lesions in the ACA/mCA and mCA regions compared to the non-anemic patients. Whether the consequences of bigger total volume/lesions impact neurological and cognitive outcomes remains to be investigated.

We herein report a new lanthanide metal-organic framework(mOF) that exhibits excellent chemical stability,especially in the aqueous solution over a wide pH range from 1 to *** contrast to many reported lanthanide mOFs,this Tb-based mOF emits cyan fluorescence inherited from the integrated AIEactive ligand,rather than Ln3+ *** remarkably,its fluorescence signal features a highly selective and sensitive "turn-off" response toward CrO_(4)^(2-),Cr_(2)O_(7)^(2- )and Fe^(3+) ions,highlighted with the low detection limits down to 68.18,69.85 and 138.8 ppm,***,the exceptional structural stability and sensing performance render this material able to be a superior luminescent sensor for heavy metal ions in wastewater.
