Improvement of the nutritional support management system for patients in intensive care units

BACKGROUND Nutritional support for patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit(ICU)is an important part of clinical treatment and care,but there are significant implementation difficulties.AIM To introduce a modified nutritional support management system for ICU patients based on closed-loop information management and psychological counseling.METHODS The division of functions,personnel training,system construction,development of an intelligent decision-making software system,quality control,and improvement of the whole process were carried out to systematically manage nutritional support for ICU patients.RESULTS Following the implementation of the whole process management system,the scores of ICU medical staff’s knowledge,attitudes/beliefs,and practices regarding nutritional support were comprehensively enhanced.The proportion of hospital bed-days of total enteral nutrition(EN)in ICU patients increased from 5.58%to 11.46%,and the proportion of EN plus parenteral nutrition increased from 42.71%to 47.07%.The rate of EN initiation within 48 h of ICU admission increased from 37.50%to 48.28%,and the EN compliance rate within 72 h elevated from 20.59%to 31.72%.After the implementation of the project,the Self-rating Anxiety Scale score decreased from 61.07±9.91 points to 52.03±9.02 points,the Self-rating Depression Scale score reduced from 62.47±10.50 points to 56.34±9.83 points,and the ICU stay decreased from 5.76±2.77 d to 5.10±2.12 d.CONCLUSION The nutritional support management system based on closed-loop information management and psychological counseling achieved remarkable results in clinical applications in ICU patients.

Preoperative blood markers and intra-abdominal infection after colorectal cancer resection

BACKGROUND Colorectal cancer(CRC)has one of the highest morbidity and mortality rates among digestive tract tumors.Intra-abdominal infection(IAI)is a common postoperative complication that affects the clinical outcomes of patients with CRC and hinders their rehabilitation process.However,the factors influencing abdominal infection after CRC surgery remain unclear;further,prediction models are rarely used to analyze preoperative laboratory indicators and postoperative complications.AIM To explore the predictive value of preoperative blood markers for IAI after radical resection of CRC.METHODS The data of 80 patients who underwent radical resection of CRC in the Anorectal Surgery Department of Suzhou Hospital affiliated with Anhui Medical University were analyzed.These patients were categorized into IAI(n=15)and non-IAI groups(n=65)based on whether IAI occurred.Influencing factors were compared;general data and laboratory indices of both groups were identified.The relationship between the indicators was assessed.Further,a nomogram prediction model was developed and evaluated;its utility and clinical applic-ability were assessed.RESULTS The risk factors for IAI after radical resection of CRC were neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet-lymphocyte ratio(PLR),systemic immune-inflammation index(SII),and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)levels.NLR was correlated with PLR and SII(r=0.604,0.925,and 0.305,respectively),while PLR was correlated with SII(r=0.787).The nomogram prediction model demonstrated an area under the curve of 0.968[95%confidence interval(CI):0.948-0.988]in the training set(n=60)and 0.926(95%CI:0.906-0.980)in the validation set(n=20).The average absolute errors of the calibration curves for the training and validation sets were 0.032 and 0.048,respectively,indicating a good model fit.The decision curve analysis curves demonstrated high net income above the 5%threshold,indicating the clinical practicality of the model.CONCLUSION The nomogram model constructed using NLR,PLR,SII,and CEA levels had good accur

Eulerian and Bipartite Binary Delta-matroids

Delta-matroid theory is often thought of as a generalization of topological graph theory.It is well-known that an orientable embedded graph is bipartite if and only if its Petrie dual is orientable.In this paper,we first introduce the concepts of Eulerian and bipartite delta-matroids and then extend the result from embedded graphs to arbitrary binary delta-matroids.The dual of any bipartite embedded graph is Eulerian.We also extend the result from embedded graphs to the class of delta-matroids that arise as twists of binary matroids.Several related results are also obtained.

Weatherability and heat resistance enhanced by interaction between AG25 and Mg/AI-LDH

Although inorganic pigments in common spectral tuning materials show good weatherability and heat resistance,the limited color choices,weak coloring power,poor dispersibility,and a possibility of toxicity limit their development.On the basis of organic pigments which possess a wide range of colors,high coloring power,good transparency,and high safety,herein,the modified pigment and biomimetic coating with improved weatherability,especially ultraviolet(UV) resistance(from 2 to 6 days),was achieved by intercalating acid green 25(AG25) pigment into Mg/Al-layered double hydroxides(Mg/Al-LDH).Furthermore,the heat resistance of AG25 was also significantly increased.Moreover,the spectral stability of pigments after heat treatment is superior with almost unchanged spectral profile and green reflection peak.The formation of strong N-H bonds and the S-M(Mg,Al)bonds between Mg/Al-LDH laminates and AG25 molecules contributes to the improvement.This work shows potential for biomimetic leaf materials in respect of reflective spectra stability.

It is well known that a shaded link diagram corresponds to a signed plane multi-graph.In graph theory,line graph is an old and important concept originally introduced by H.Whitney in 1932.In this paper we define the line graph link to be a link which has a diagram whose corresponding signed plane graph is a signed line graph.The main purpose of the paper is to illustrate the structure of planar line graphs,which permits us to deal with its signed Tutte polynomial and the Jones polynomials of line graph links.

新冠疫情作为一次突发性公共卫生危机,由于其传染性极强和早期的高重症率,对我国民众的生命安全造成了威胁。为阻断其传播,多地实施了限制人员流动等措施,对就业尤其是农民工就业产生了较大影响。本文基于2018年与2020年中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)两期平衡面板数据,结合疫情爆发前后的时间差异与疫情严重程度的省份差异,探讨新冠疫情对农民工就业地点变化的影响。结果表明,新冠肺炎疫情的爆发显著改变了农民工的就业地点,疫情严重程度的增长提高了农民工返回乡镇地区就业的概率,在控制了潜在的内生性后,结论依然成立。异质性检验显示,该效应对于健康状况较差、收入水平与受教育程度较低,工作类型为私营企业、个体工商户或外商企业且有子女的女性农民工的影响更明显。

为了在移动边缘计算(MEC)中最大限度地减少处理用户任务的时延和能耗,改善用户体验,以最小化用户的完成时间和能耗的加权和为目标,在计算资源的约束下研究了多用户、多MEC服务器中的计算卸载问题。针对此问题,考虑卸载决策和资源分配之间存在的依赖关系,首先将原问题解耦为卸载决策和计算资源分配2个子问题。然后,使用鲸鱼优化算法求解卸载决策问题,通过添加非线性收敛因子和惯性权重加快收敛速度;引入反馈机制,防止陷入局部最优,得到更高概率可行的卸载决策;对于资源分配问题使用拉格朗日乘子法得到每个卸载决策下的最佳计算资源分配解。最后,通过多次迭代得到稳定的收敛解。仿真实验结果表明,与其他基准方案相比,最多减少了44.6%的系统开销。

The Number of Circles of a Maximum State of a Plane Graph with Applications

Motivated by the connection with the genus of the corresponding link and its application on DNA polyhedral links,in this paper,we introduce a parameter s_(max)(G),which is the maximum number of circles of states of the link diagram D(G)corresponding to a plane(positive)graph G.We show that s_(max)(G)does not depend on the embedding of G and if G is a 4-edge-connected plane graph then s_(max)(G)is equal to the number of faces of G,which cover the results of S.Y.Liu and H.P.Zhang as special cases.

随着新课改的逐步深入以及新时代评价方案的出台,中小学阶段的过程性评价受到了越来越多专家与一线教师的关注。而中小学教师在过程性评价的实施过程中面临诸多困境,如评价制度改革缓慢、教师评价素养尚有不足、家长与社区的评价主体缺位、评价活动难设计、评价方法与工具使用效果难持续以及评价结果受质疑等。为帮助教师突破在实施过程性评价中遇到的困境,确保评价工作的顺利推进,可以尝试从以下几个方面着手:推动评价制度改革,完善顶层设计;构建教师培训体系,提升评价素养;创新家校合作模式,凝聚评价合力;引入教师助手,共创评价活动;应用新型评价方法与工具,畅通评价过程;建立信息管理系统,提升评价质量。
