Photoplethysmography(PPG)biometrics have received considerable *** deep learning has achieved good performance for PPG biometrics,several challenges remain open:1)How to effectively extract the feature fusion representation from time and frequency PPG signals.2)How to effectively capture a series of PPG signal transition information.3)How to extract timevarying information from one-dimensional time-frequency sequential *** address these challenges,we propose a dual-domain and multiscale fusion deep neural network(DMFDNN)for PPG biometric *** DMFDNN is mainly composed of a two-branch deep learning framework for PPG biometrics,which can learn the time-varying and multiscale discriminative features from the time and frequency ***,we design a multiscale extraction module to capture transition information,which consists of multiple convolution layers with different receptive fields for capturing multiscale transition *** addition,the dual-domain attention module is proposed to strengthen the domain of greater contributions from time-domain and frequency-domain data for PPG *** on the four datasets demonstrate that DMFDNN outperforms the state-of-the-art methods for PPG biometrics.

To address the two critical issues of evaluating the necessity of implementing cooling techniques and achieving real-time temperature control of drilling fluids underground in the current drilling fluid cooling technology,we first established a temperature and pressure coupled downhole heat transfer model,which can be used in both water-based and oil-based drilling ***,fourteen factors,which could affect wellbore temperature,were *** on the standard deviation of the downhole temperature corresponding to each influencing factor,the influence of each factor was *** influencing factors that can be used to guide the drilling fluid's cooling technology were drilling fluid thermal conductivity,drilling fluid heat capacity,drilling fluid density,drill strings rotation speed,pump rate,viscosity,ROP,and injection *** nondominated sorting genetic algorithm was used to optimize these six parameters,but the optimization process took 182 *** these eight parameters'influence rules with the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm can reduce the optimization time to 108 ***,the downhole temperature has been demonstrated to increase with the inlet temperature increasing linearly under quasi-steady *** this law and PID,the downhole temperature can be controlled,which can reduce the energy for cooling the surface drilling fluid and can ensure the downhole temperature reaches the set value as soon as possible.

Sustainable blends of poly(propylene carbonate)(PPC)and stereocomplex polylactide(sc-PLA)were prepared by melt blending equimolar poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA)and poly(D-lactide acid)(PDLA)with PPC to form sc-PLA crystals in situ in the melt blending *** seanning calorimetry analysis revealed that only sc-PLA,no homo-crystallization of PLLA or PDLA,formed in the PPC matrix as the sc-PLA con tent was more than 10 wt%.Very in triguingly,scan ning electronic microscopy observati on showed that sc-PLA was evenly dispersed in the PPC phase as spherical particles and the sizes of sc-PLA particles did not obviously increase with in creasing sc-PLA con *** a con seque nee,the rheological properties of PPC were greatly improved by incorporation of *** the sc-PLA con tent was 20 wt%,a percolati on n etwork structure was formed,and the blends showed solid-like *** sc-PLA particles could reinforce the PPC matrix,especially at a temperature above the glass transition temperature of ***,the Vicat softening temperature of PPC/sc-PLA blends could be increased compared with that of neat PPC.

The accuracy of large eddy simulation(LES)is highly dependent on the performance of sub-grid scale(SGS)*** the present paper,a dynamic cubic nonlinear sub-grid scale model(DCNM)proposed by huang et *** implemented for the simulation of unsteady cavitating flow around a 3-D Clark-Y hydrofoil in *** performance in predicting the evolution of cloud cavitation is discussed in *** simulation with a linear model,the dynamic Smagorinsky model(DSM),is also conducted as a *** results with DCNM show a better agreement with the available experimental *** comparison between DCNM and DSM further suggests that the DCNM is able to predict the backscatter more precisely,which is an important feature in *** characteristics of DCNM is analyzed to account for its advantages in the prediction of unsteady cloud cavitation as *** results reveal that it is the nonlinear terms of DCNM that makes DCNM capture sub-grid scale vortices better and more suitable for studying the transient behaviors of cloud cavitation than DSM.

Background:Metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)is a common liver disease,the risk of which can be increased by poor *** objective of this study was to evaluate the associations between food items and MAFLD,and to propose reasonable dietary recommendations for the prevention of ***:Physical examination data were collected from April 2015 through August 2017 at Nanping First Hospital(n=3,563).Dietary intakes were assessed using a semi-quantitative food frequency *** association between food intake and the risk of MAFLD was assessed by using the inverse probability weighted propensity ***:Beverages(soft drinks and sugar-sweetened beverages)and instant noodles were positively associated with MAFLD risk,adjusting for smoking,drinking,tea intake,and weekly hours of physical activity[adjusted odds ratio(ORadjusted):1.568;P=0.044;ORadjusted:4.363;P=0.001].Milk,tubers,and vegetables were negatively associated with MAFLD risk(ORadjusted:0.912;P=0.002;ORadjusted:0.633;P=0.007;ORadjusted:0.962;P=0.028).In subgroup analysis,the results showed that women[odds ratio(OR):0.341,95%confidence interval(CI):0.172–0.676]had a significantly lower risk of MAFLD through consuming more tubers than men(OR:0.732,95%CI:0.564–0.951).Conclusions:These findings suggest that reducing consumption of beverages(soft drinks and sugar-sweetened beverages)and instant noodles,and consuming more milk,vegetables,and tubers may reduce the risk of MAFLD.

BACKGROUND Autologous fat injection in facial reconstruction is a common cosmetic *** cerebral fat embolism(CFE)as a complication is rare,it carries serious health *** SUMMARY We present a case of a 29-year-old female patient who developed acute CFE following facial fat filling *** the surgery,the patient experienced symptoms including headache,nausea,vomiting,and difficulty breathing,which was followed by neurological symptoms such as slurred speech and left-sided *** physical examination and auxiliary investigations,including blood tests,head and neck computed tomography angiography,and cranial magnetic resonance diffusion-weighted imaging,were performed upon *** clinical diagnosis was acute cerebral embolism following facial fat filling *** included measures to improve cerebral circulation,dehydration for intracranial pressure reduction,nutritional support,and rehabilitation therapy for left limb *** patient showed a significant improvement in symptoms after 2 weeks of *** recovered left limb muscle strength to grade 5,had clear speech,and experienced complete relief of *** Our case highlights the potential occurrence of severe complications in patients undergoing fat injection in facial *** prevent these complications,plastic surgeons should enhance their professional knowledge and skills.
