Complex genesis of multiperiod fractures in the Middle Triassic Leikoupo Formation in the pengzhou gas field, western Sichuan Basin, China

The cumulative expression of multistage deformation is complex multiperiod fractures,which are commonly seen in tectonic *** Middle Triassic Leikoupo Formation in the western Sichuan Basin Depression,China,is a typical marine carbonate reservoir with natural fractures caused mainly by tectonic *** to outcrops,drill cores,image logging,and fluid inclusions,the fracture characteristics,types of natural fractures,and interactions of fractures are *** total,419 natural fractures in 493.2 m of cores from 7 wells are investigated,which are mainly shear and tensile fractures with a small number of weathering generated ***,the results of the stable isotope analysis of δ13C and δ18O,as well as the flow fluid inclusion data,reveal four tectonic periods of fractures with different *** on the history of regional tectonic evolution,indicating one period of weathering fractures ascribable to stratal uplift and three periods of structural fractures related to the sequential tectonic movements of the Longmenshan fault *** analyzing the interaction relationships of fractures,three types of fracture interaction relationships are observed:cutting,restraining,and *** four stages fractures are chronologically assigned to(1)the early Indosinian N-S trending compression,(2)the late Indosinian NW-SE compression,(3)the middle Yanshanian NE-SE compression,and(4)the early Himalayan E-W *** influence of natural fractures on gas migration and well production in marine carbonates is discussed,and indicates that tectonic fractures could provide seepage channels for gas migration and accumulation from near or distant hydrocarbon source rocks into the Middle Triassic Leikoupo *** study utilizes a pragmatic approach for understanding the fracture genesis mechanism in oil and gas field with multiperiod fractures.

Observation of acoustic hybrid topological phases induced by the p-d orbital interactions

Fast electron-hole recombination issues during titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))photocatalysis limit its application in preventing bacterial infection during bone defect *** this study,TiO_(2)@reduced graphene oxide(rGO)composites were synthesized using a hydrothermal method in which rGO,which possesses very high electrical conductivity,promotes the separation of photoelectron-hole pairs of TiO_(2),thus improving the efficiency of photocatalytic production of reactive oxygen species(ROS).Subsequently,TiO_(2)@rGO composites were introduced into poly-L-lactic acid(PLLA)to prepare bone scaffolds with photocatalytic antibacterial function via selective laser *** results showed that TiO_(2)grew on the surface of rGO and formed a covalent bond connection(Ti-O-C)with rGO.A decreased electrochemical impedance of TiO_(2)@rGO composites was observed,and the transient photocurrent intensity increased from 0.05 to 0.5μA/cm^(2).Analysis of electron spin resonance found that the photocatalytic products of TiO_(2)were·OH and·O^(2-),two kinds of ROS capable of killing bacteria via disrupting the structure of the bacterial membrane in *** experiments showed that the PLLA/TiO_(2)@rGO scaffolds had good antibacterial properties against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus ***,we report that these scaffolds exhibited both enhanced mechanical properties due to the addition of TiO_(2)@rGO as a reinforcement material and good biocompatibility during cell proliferation.

Uncovering the oxidation mechanism of sphalerite(ZnS)in the absence and presence of water:A first-principles investigation

Herein,a first-principles investigation was innovatively conducted to research the surface oxidation of ZnS-like sphalerite in the absence and presence of H_(2)O .The findings showed that single O_(2) was preferred to be dissociated adsorption on sphalerite surface by generating SAO and Zn AO bonds,and the S atom on the surface was the most energy-supported site for O_(2) adsorption,on which a≡Zn-O-S-O-Zn≡structure will be ***,dissociated adsorption of single H_(2)O will not *** was preferred to be adsorbed on the top Zn atom on sphalerite surface in molecular form through Zn-O ***,sphalerite oxidation can occur as if O_(2) was present regardless of the presence of H_(2)O ,and when H_(2)O and O_(2) coexisted,the formation of sulfur oxide(SO_(2) )needed a lower energy barrier and it was easier to form on sphalerite surface than that only O_(2) *** the absence of H_(2)O ,when SO_(2) was generated,further oxidation of which would form neutral zinc *** the presence of H_(2)O ,the formation of SO_(2) on sphalerite surface was easier and the rate of further oxidation to form sulfate was also ***,the occurrence of sphalerite oxidation was accelerated.

Rapid detection of colored and colorless macroand micro-plastics in complex environment via near-infrared spectroscopy and machine learning

To better understand the migration behavior of plastic fragments in the environment,development of rapid non-destructive methods for in-situ identification and characterization of plastic fragments is ***,most of the studies had focused only on colored plastic fragments,ignoring colorless plastic fragments and the effects of different environmental media(backgrounds),thus underestimating their *** address this issue,the present study used near-infrared spectroscopy to compare the identification of colored and colorless plastic fragments based on partial least squares-discriminant analysis(PLS-DA),extreme gradient boost,support vector machine and random forest *** effects of polymer color,type,thickness,and background on the plastic fragments classification were ***-DA presented the best and most stable outcome,with higher robustness and lower misclassification *** models frequently misinterpreted colorless plastic fragments and its background when the fragment thickness was less than 0.1mm.A two-stage modeling method,which first distinguishes the plastic types and then identifies colorless plastic fragments that had been misclassified as background,was *** method presented an accuracy higher than 99%in different *** summary,this study developed a novel method for rapid and synchronous identification of colored and colorless plastic fragments under complex environmental backgrounds.

Evolution and generation mechanism of retained oil in lacustrine shales: A combined ReaxFF-MD and pyrolysis simulation perspective

To accurately investigate the evolution characteristics and generation mechanism of retained oil, the study analyzed organic-rich lacustrine shale samples from the Paleogene Kongdian Formation in Cangdong Sag, Bohai Bay Basin. This analysis involves Rock-Eval pyrolysis, pyrolysis simulation experiments,Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer（GC-MS）, and reactive molecular dynamics simulations（Reax FF）. The results revealed the retained oil primarily consisted of n-alkanes with carbon numbers ranging from C14to C36. The generation of retained oil occurred through three stages. A slow growth stage of production rate was observed before reaching the peak of oil production in Stage I. Stage II involved a rapid increase in oil retention, with C12-C17and C24-C32serving as the primary components,increasing continuously during the pyrolysis process. The generation process involved the cleavage of weak bonds, including bridging bonds（hydroxyl, oxy, peroxy, imino, amino, and nitro）, ether bonds, and acid amides in the first stage（Ro= 0.50%-0.75%）. The carbon chains in aromatic ring structures with heteroatomic functional groups breaks in the second stage（Ro= 0.75%-1.20%）. In the third stage（Ro= 1.20%-2.50%）, the ring structures underwent ring-opening reactions to synthesize iso-short-chain olefins and radicals, while further breakdown of aliphatic chains occurred. By coupling pyrolysis simulation experiments and molecular simulation technology, the evolution characteristics and bond breaking mechanism of retained oil in three stages were revealed, providing a reference for the formation and evolution mechanism of retained oil.

Machine learning model using immune indicators to predict outcomes in early liver cancer

Ru doping triggering reconstruction of cobalt phosphide for coupling glycerol electrooxidation with seawater electrolysis
