Two-dimensional(2D)covalent organic framework(COF)mem-branes featuring well-aligned and programmable vertical nano-channels have emerged as a promising candidate for advanced nanofluidic devices and showcased vast potential in the fields of smart-gating,ion-separation,and ***,the transverse interlayer nanochannels with a height of sub-nanometer-scale in 2D-COF membranes have scarcely been studied in ***,we report the ion transport characteristics in 2D interlayer nanochannels of protonated CoF *** dis-tinct surface-charge-governed ionic conductance in domination of electrolyte concentration below 1o-3 M as well as the exceptional anion/cation(Cl^(-)/K^(+))selectivity is revealed due to the pronounced charge and nano-confinement ***,evident ion current rectification is witnessed when incorporating asymmetric geometry into the system,which is attributed to the dynamic process of ion enrichment and dissipation within the protonated *** work offers immense prospects for 2D-COF membranes in the fields of biomimetic nanofluidic devices and cutting-edge electronic devices.

●AIM:To assess effectivity and safety of trifocal intraocular lenses(IOLs)and capsular tension rings in treating cataract patients with axial high myopia.●METHODS:A prospective nonrandomized controlled clinical trial was *** 98 eyes(74 patients)who underwent femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery(FLACS)with trifocal IOLs were enrolled in the study and followed up for 2y after surgery:46 eyes(33 patients)with capsular tension ring implantation in the long axial lengths(AL)group(26group(22g the subjective and objective visual quality,and postoperative complications were assessed.●RESULTS:Uncorrected distance visual acuity at 5 m and uncorrected intermediate visual acuity at 60 and 80 cm in the long AL group were significantly worse than those in the normal AL group at 3mo postoperatively(Pg speed,spectacle independence and potential visual complaints between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The dysfunctional lens index and total modulation transfer function(MTF)average height were similar between the two *** postoperative internal coma aberrations in the axial high myopia eyes were significantly higher than that in the normal AL group(Pg AL group(91.32±2.76)was slightly higher than that in the normal AL group(90.36±3.47),but there was no difference(P=0.136).A statistically negative correlation was found between corrected distance visual acuity(CDVA)and dysfunctional lens index(r=-0.382,P=0.009),and between CDVA and the total MTF average height(r=-0.374,P=0.01).But there was no significant correlation between CDVA and total satisfaction score(r=0.059,P=0.696).Postoperative complications mainly presented as posterior capsular opacity(PCO),retinal detachment and cystoid macular *** was no difference in the incidenc

Vascular plants have evolved intricate long-distance signaling mechanisms to cope with environmental stress,with reactive oxygen species(ROS)emerging as pivotal systemic signals in plant stress ***,the exact role of ROS as root-to-shoot signals in the drought response has not been *** this study,we reveal that compared with wild-type plants,ferric reductase defective 3(frd3)mutants exhibit enhanced drought resistance concomitant with elevated NINE-CIS-EPOXYCAROTENOID DIOXYgENASE 3(NCED3)transcript levels and abscisic acid(ABA)contents in leaves as well as increased hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))levels in roots and *** experiments distinctly illustrate that drought resistance can be conferred by the frd3 rootstock regardless of the scion genotype,indicating that long-distance signals originating from frd3 roots promote an increase in ABA levels in ***,the drought resistance conferred by the frd3 mutant rootstock is weakened by the CAT2-overexpressing scion,suggesting that H_(2)O_(2)may be involved in long-distance ***,the results of comparative transcriptome and proteome analyses support the drought resistance phenotype of the frd3 *** together,our findings substantiate the notion that frd3 root-derived long-distance signals trigger ABA synthesis in leaves and enhance drought resistance,providing new evidence for root-to-shoot long-distance signaling in the drought response of plants.

This study introduces a novel convolutional neural network,the WISE galaxy Classification Network(WgC),for classifying spiral and elliptical galaxies using Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer(WISE)*** attains an accuracy of 89.03%,surpassing the combined use of K-means or SVM with the Color-Color method in more accurately identifying galaxy *** enhanced variant,WgC_mag,integrates magnitude parameters with image features,further boosting the accuracy to 89.89%.The research also delves into the criteria for galaxy classification,discovering that WgC primarily categorizes dust-rich images as elliptical galaxies,corresponding to their lower star formation rates,and classifies less dusty images as spiral *** paper explores the consistency and complementarity of WISE infrared images with SDSS optical images in galaxy morphology *** SDSS galaxy Classification Network(SgC),trained on SDSS images,achieved an accuracy of 94.64%.The accuracy reached 99.30% when predictions from SgC and WgC were *** the complementarity of features in WISE and SDSS images,a novel variant of a classifier,namely the Multi-band galaxy Morphology Integrated Classifier,has been *** classifier elevates the overall prediction accuracy to 95.39%.Lastly,the versatility of WgC was validated in other data *** the HyperLEDA data set,the distinction between elliptical galaxies and Sc,Scd and Sd spiral galaxies was most pronounced,achieving an accuracy of 90%,surpassing the classification results of the galaxy Zoo 2 labeled WISE data *** research not only demonstrates the effectiveness of WISE images in galaxy morphology classification but also represents an attempt to integrate multi-band astronomical data to enhance understanding of galaxy structures and evolution.
