Plasma endothelin-1 and nitric oxide correlate with ligustrazine alleviation of pulmonary artery hypertension in patients of chronic cor pulmonale from high altitude plateau during acute exacerbation

Objective To explore the mechanisms involved in the ligustrazine alleviation of the pulmonary artery hypertension(PAH) in patients of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) associated with chronic cor pulmonale(CCP) during *** Seventy patients of COPD and CCP with acute exacerbation were randomly and equally divided into control group and treatment *** control group received standard treatment with antibiotics,antiasthmatic and expectorant medications,and oxygenation;and the ligustrazine treatment group received ligustrazine treatment(80 mg/d;i.v.;for 2 weeks) in addition to the standard *** and at the end of 2 week treatment,the clinic responses of the two regimens were evaluated,plasma levels of endothelin-1(ET-1) and nitric oxide(NO) were determined;arterial oxygen partial pressure(PaO_2),mean pulmonary arterial pressure(mPAP),outflow tract of right ventricle(RVOT),and internal diameter of right ventricle(RV) were *** Good clinic benefits were achieved in both the standard and ligustrazine regimens,plasma level of ET-1,values of mPAP,RV and RVOT decreased significantly,plasma level of NO and PaO_2 values decreased(all P<0.01 vs pretreatment to all parameters).Compared with the control group,ligustrazine greatly enhanced the clinic efficacy from 77.1%to 97.1%(P<0.05),and also resulted in more significant changes of all these parameters(P<0.01 vs control group for all parameters).For both groups,the levels of plasma ET-1 were positively correlated with values of mPAP,RVOT,and RV(r = 0.710,0.853,and 0.766,respectively,all P = 0.000),and negatively correlated with plasma NO and PaO_2(r =- 0.823,and- 0.752,respectively,all P = 0.000).Conclusion Ligustrazine is effective in treating pulmonary artery hypertension during acute exacerbation of COPD and CCP in patients from the plateau *** observed changes in the plasma levels of NO and ET-1 in response to ligustrazine treatment suggest that ligustrazine may act th

Occluded Gait Emotion Recognition Based on Multi-Scale Suppression Graph Convolutional Network

In recent years,gait-based emotion recognition has been widely applied in the field of computer ***,existing gait emotion recognition methods typically rely on complete human skeleton data,and their accuracy significantly declines when the data is *** enhance the accuracy of gait emotion recognition under occlusion,this paper proposes a Multi-scale Suppression Graph ConvolutionalNetwork(MS-GCN).TheMS-GCN consists of three main components:Joint Interpolation Module(JI Moudle),Multi-scale Temporal Convolution Network(MS-TCN),and Suppression Graph Convolutional Network(SGCN).The JI Module completes the spatially occluded skeletal joints using the(K-Nearest Neighbors)KNN interpolation *** MS-TCN employs convolutional kernels of various sizes to comprehensively capture the emotional information embedded in the gait,compensating for the temporal occlusion of gait *** SGCN extracts more non-prominent human gait features by suppressing the extraction of key body part features,thereby reducing the negative impact of occlusion on emotion recognition *** proposed method is evaluated on two comprehensive datasets:Emotion-Gait,containing 4227 real gaits from sources like BML,ICT-Pollick,and ELMD,and 1000 synthetic gaits generated using STEP-Gen technology,and ELMB,consisting of 3924 gaits,with 1835 labeled with emotions such as“Happy,”“Sad,”“Angry,”and“Neutral.”On the standard datasets Emotion-Gait and ELMB,the proposed method achieved accuracies of 0.900 and 0.896,respectively,attaining performance comparable to other ***,on occlusion datasets,the proposedmethod significantly mitigates the performance degradation caused by occlusion compared to other methods,the accuracy is significantly higher than that of other methods.

Amperometric Glucose Sensor Based on Batch CuO-Modified Screen-Printed Silver-Carbon Electrodes

针对现有无线传感器网络任务分配策略通常不考虑任务内部结构,从而会影响网络生命周期、能耗及负载平衡等问题,基于逻辑依赖性提出一种新的无线传感器网络任务分配策略。该策略首先由选出的盟主根据任务本身具有的逻辑依赖性,逐层将任务分解为一系列的子任务,并依据逻辑依赖性赋予子任务优先级,最后运用矩阵的二进制编码设计一种基于位置加权的离散粒子群优化的带混合联盟的无线传感器网络任务分配算法,找到某个合适节点执行此子任务。引入虚拟节点以加强盟主间的交流;引入能量阈值对节点能量进行预测并决定子任务是否迁移;运用拓扑和逆拓扑排序法,根据子任务预期完成时间及权重系数求出关键子任务,选择优先分配能力强、执行效率高的节点执行相应子任务。仿真结果表明,该任务分配策略能有效延长网络生命周期、均衡网络负载和减少网络能耗等。

Wetland and habitat dynamics in the evolving landscape of the Middle Yangtze River Basin

Wetlands play a critical role in the global environment. The Middle Yangtze River Basin(MYRB), known for its abundant wetland resources, has experienced notable changes resulting from the complex interplay of environmental factors. Therefore, we investigated the spatiotemporal characteristics of wetland ecological quality in the MYRB from 2001 to *** the random forest(RF) regression algorithm and patch-generated land-use simulation(PLUS) model, we forecasted variations in wetland habitat quality and their determinants under the Shared Socioeconomic Pathway-Representative Concentration Pathway(SSPRCP) framework from 2035 to 2095. The main findings are as follows:(1) The RF algorithm was optimal for land-use and land-cover(LULC) classification in the MYRB from 2001 to 2020,when notable changes were observed in water bodies and buildings. However, the forested area exhibited an increase and decrease of 3.9% and 1.2% under the SSP1-2.6 and SSP5-8.5 scenarios, respectively, whereas farmland exhibited a diminishing trend.(2) Wetlands were primarily concentrated in the central and eastern MYRB, with counties in the southwest exhibiting superior ecological-environmental quality from 2001 to 2020. Notably,wetland coverage revealed significantly high level, significant changes, frequent but relatively minor changes under the SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, and SSP 5-8.5 scenarios, respectively.(3)Regions with lower habitat quality were primarily concentrated in urbanized areas characterized by frequent human activities, indicating a clear degradation in habitat quality across different scenarios. In conclusion, we established a foundational framework for future investigations into the eco-hydrological processes and ecosystem quality of watersheds.

Economic effect of China's carbon neutrality target under shared socioeconomic pathways

Economic feasibility is crucial for achieving the carbon neutrality target. However, current integrated assessments often underestimate the economic impacts of mitigation policies due to the lack of consideration of their economic benefits. This study integrates a warming-labour productivity model with a typical integrated assessment model using shared socioeconomic pathways. It simulates China's economic development and carbon emission levels under both baseline and carbon-neutral policy scenarios, evaluating the economic costs and benefits of emission reduction policies aimed at achieving carbon neutrality. These findings reveal the following:(1) The economic costs of emission reduction policies are projected to peak between 2050 and 2060, ranging from 0.41% to 9.37% of total GDP in the baseline scenario, primarily due to increased energy prices and R&D investments. These costs are expected to decline rapidly after 2070.(2) China's carbon-neutral policies will mitigate global warming, with the economic benefits of mitigation projected to reach 5.65% to 17.24% of China's total GDP by 2100.(3) Lowcarbon scenarios SSP1 and SSP4 could significantly reduce initial economic costs and advance the onset of net economic gains to 2060. This integrated assessment confirms that China's carbon neutrality target offers substantial net economic benefits in the long term. To minimize initial economic costs, efforts should focus on enhancing consumption-side transitions, upgrading lowcarbon technologies, and adopting new energy sources.

Tectonic modes of mantle convection and their implications for Earth's tectonic evolution based on three-dimensional numerical simulations

Five tectonic modes of mantle convection are obtained and analyzed with three-dimensional numerical models in a spherical shell domain. The five tectonic convective modes are non-plate mobile-lid, plate-like mobile-lid, episodic plate-like mobile-lid, episodic stagnant-lid, and stagnant-lid convective modes, respectively. The typical characteristics of these five tectonic modes and their numerical classification criteria based on plateness, mobility, and their standard deviations are presented and discussed. The results show that the yield stress of the lithosphere has profound effects on the tectonic convective *** the gradual increase of yield stress, the tectonic mode of mantle convection changes from one to another sequentially through the aforementioned five modes. Additionally, as the Rayleigh number increases, the range of yield stress for the platelike mobile-lid convective mode decreases, and the dimensionless transition stress between different tectonic modes ***, the dimensional transition stress between the non-plate mobile-lid convective mode and plate-like mobile-lid convective mode increases with the increase of Rayleigh number, but decreases between other tectonic modes. Furthermore, we find that the transition stress between different tectonic modes is inversely proportional to the internal heating rate, with the transition stress decreasing as the internal heating rate increases. The fitting analysis of the transition stress between tectonic modes shows that Earth's current plate tectonics correspond to a lithospheric yield stress of 150–250 MPa, which aligns with the strength of serpentinized mantle rock determined by experimental petrography. If the Archean mantle was 300°C warmer than it is today, then the Earth was in an episodic stagnant-lid convective mode.
