The study of modern pollen,and vegetation can improve the accuracy of paleoenvironmental reconstruction based on fossil pollen data.A total of 188 pollen surface samples were collected from Southern xinjiang(34°00’–43°00’N,74°00’–94°00’E)in China,with an elevation range of 888–4530 *** pollen and vegetation were studied in the northern region of the Kunlun Mountains and the southern region of the Tianshan *** results showed that the surface pollen assemblages on the southern slope of the Tianshan Mountains(3530–1124 m)were divided into three pollen zones,namely,montane steppe,montane desert steppe,and montane *** zones were dominated by Artemisia,chenopodiaceae,and Ephedra *** surface pollen assemblages in the eastern Pamir Plateau(4530–1287 m)could be divided into alpine meadow,montane desert steppe,and montane desert zones,which were predominantly characterized by Artemisia,chenopodiaceae,and Asteraceae ***,the Southern Tarim Basin(3548–888 m)comprised montane desert steppe and montane desert zones,which was dominated by Artemisia and chenopodiaceae *** geographic distribution of the surface pollen sites obtained using ArcGIS,the R-value,and Pearson correlation analyses indicated that the over-represented Picea and Pinus pollen were of external origin and were transported by wind,water(rivers),and ice(glacier movement).Over-representation of Ephedra and Nitraria pollen was mainly distributed in the montane desert and desert steppe zones,*** from chenopodiaceae and Artemisia were over-represented and broadly distributed across Southern *** pollen was concentrated in areas with walnut trees,strongly indicating the presence of local parent *** to the Hybrid Singleparticle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory model,more Pinus pollen was transported to the Pamir region by external airflows during spring and summer,resulting in its higher surface pollen *** elucidating t

In this study,the effect of presentation rates on pupil dilation is investigated for target recognition in the Rapid Serial Visual Presentation(RSVP)*** this experiment,the RSVP paradigm with five different presentation rates,including 50,80,100,150,and 200 ms,is *** pupillometry data of 15 subjects are collected and *** pupillometry results reveal that the peak and average amplitudes for pupil size and velocity at the 80-ms presentation rate are considerably higher than those at other presentation *** average amplitude of pupil acceleration at the 80-ms presentation rate is significantly higher than those at the other presentation *** latencies under 50-and 80-ms presentation rates are considerably lower than those of 100-,150-,and 200-ms presentation ***,no considerable differences are observed in the peak,average amplitude,and latency of pupil size,pupil velocity,and acceleration under 100-,150-,and 200-ms presentation *** results reveal that with the increase in the presentation rate,pupil dilation first increases,then decreases,and later reaches *** 80-ms presentation rate results in the largest point of pupil *** correlation is observed between pupil dilation and recognition accuracy under the five presentation rates.

To provide a new idea to reduce anisotropy for sheets in the thickness direction by microstructure modification and,mean-while,maintain or even enhance tensile performance,the in-situ ZrB2 particle/AA7085 composite sheets with thicknesses of 1,2,3,and 6 mm were *** as-cast grain size was significantly refined by the heterogeneous nucleus of the ZrB2 *** microstructure results show that severe hot deformation converts as-cast disordered microstructure into a sequential microstructure by crushing the remanent phases and matrix into a fiber *** the solid solution and aging heat treatment,the composite sheets exhibit largely recrystallized grains compared with partially recrystallized grains in the matrix sheets,and weak or even free texture exists in the *** grain size in the composite sheets decreases with the increase in thickness *** the thickness range of 1-3 mm,the composite sheets maintain a similar tensile per-formance as that in matrix sheets,while the strength and ductility in the 6-mm-thick composite sheet are improved.

Objective China is among the 30 countries with a high burden of tuberculosis(TB)worldwide,and TB remains a public health *** Prefecture in the southern xinjiang Autonomous Region is considered as one of the highest TB burden regions in ***,molecular epidemiological studies of Kashgar are *** A population-based retrospective study was conducted using whole-genome sequencing(WGS)to determine the characteristics of drug resistance and the transmission *** A total of 1,668 isolates collected in 2020 were classified into lineages 2(46.0%),3(27.5%),and 4(26.5%).The drug resistance rates revealed by WGS showed that the top three drugs in terms of the resistance rate were isoniazid(7.4%,124/1,668),streptomycin(6.0%,100/1,668),and rifampicin(3.3%,55/1,668).The rate of rifampicin resistance was 1.8%(23/1,290)in the new cases and 9.4%(32/340)in the previously treated *** resistance mutations were detected more frequently in lineage 2 strains than in lineage 3 or 4 strains,respectively:18.6%vs.8.7 or 9%,P<*** estimated proportion of recent transmissions was 25.9%(432/1,668).Multivariate logistic analyses indicated that sex,age,occupation,lineage,and drug resistance were the risk factors for recent *** the low rate of drug resistance,drug-resistant strains had a higher risk of recent transmission than the susceptible strains(adjusted odds ratio,1.414;95%CI,1.023–1.954;P=0.036).Among all patients with drug-resistant tuberculosis(DR-TB),78.4%(171/218)were attributed to the transmission of DR-TB *** Our results suggest that drug-resistant strains are more transmissible than susceptible strains and that transmission is the major driving force of the current DR-TB epidemic in Kashgar.

Nitrogen deposition is an important means of exogenous nitrogen input in reservoir *** activities around the reservoir lead to a sharp increase in the concentration of ammonia in the atmosphere,which poses a threat to the reservoir water *** the contribution of agricultural ammonia release to atmospheric NH_(x)(gaseous NH_(3)and particulate NH_(4)^(+)),in the reservoir area can provide a theoretical foundation for local reactive nitrogen *** collected atmospheric NH_(3)and NH_(4)^(+)samples during the agricultural periods and analyzed the isotopic characteristics of atmospheric NH_(x)and the contribution rates of different ammonia sources in the xichuan area of the Danjiangkou *** results showed that the initialδ~(15)N values of NH_(3)(-30.0‰to–7.2‰)and particulate NH_(4)^(+)(–33‰to+4.9‰for finer and coarser particles,respectively)are different,and their contribution ratios from dissimilar ammonia sources are also different,among which NH_(4)^(+)is more susceptible to meteorological ***,since the atmospheric NH_(x)in the xichuan area is mainly gaseous NH_(3),the final sources of atmospheric ammonia nitrogen source depend on gaseous NH_(3).Agricultural sources(59%-74%)were the main NH_(3)sources in this *** them,the fertilizer use emission was dominant;it had the highest contribution rate in summer during the agricultural period and a more prominent impact in areas with less human *** regulation of the application of high-ammonia releasing fertilizer,especially during the agricultural period in summer,is an effective way to reduce the threat of atmospheric ammonia to water health.
