AIM:To explore the brain mechanism of acupuncture for children with anisometropic amblyopia using the voxelmirror homotopic connectivity(VMHC)analysis method of resting functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI)technology based on clinical ***:Eighty children with anisometropic monocular amblyopia were randomly divided into two groups:control(40 cases,1 case of shedding)and acupuncture(40 cases,1 case of shedding)*** control group was treated with glasses,red flash,grating,and visual stimulations,with each procedure conducted for 5min per *** on routine treatment,the acupuncture group underwent acupuncture of“regulating qi and unblocking meridians to bright eyes”,Jingming(BL1),Cuanzhu(BL2),Guangming(GB37),Fengchi(GB20)acupoints were taken on both sides,with the needle kept for 30min each *** groups were treated once every other day,three times per week,for a total of *** the treatment,the overall curative effect of the two groups and the latency and amplitude changes of P100 wave of pattern visual-evoked potential were *** the same time,nine children with left eye amblyopia were randomly selected from the two groups and were scanned with rsfMRI before and after *** differences in the brain regions between the two groups were compared and analyzed with ***:Chi-square test showed a notable difference in the total efficiency rate between the acupuncture(94.87%)and control groups(79.49%).Regarding the P100 wave latency and amplitude,the acupuncture group had significantly shorter latency and higher amplitude of P100 wave than the control ***,the VMHC values of the bilateral temporal lobe,superior temporal gyrus,and middle temporal gyrus were notably increased in the acupuncture group after ***:Acupuncture combined with conventional treatment can significantly improve the corrected visual acuity and optic nerve conduction in children with anisometropic ***

Developing new approaches to fulfill the enantioseparation of nanocluster racemates and construct cluster-based nanomaterials with optical activity remains highly desired in cluster science,because it is an essential prerequisite for fundamental research and extensive applications of these *** herein propose a strategy termed“active-site exposing and partly re-protecting”to trigger the symmetry breaking of highly symmetrical nanoclusters and to render cluster crystals optically *** vertex PPh_(3)of the symmetrical Ag_(29)(SSR)_(12)(PPh_(3))_(4)(SSR=1,3-benzenedithiol)nanocluster was firstly dissociated in the presence of counterions with large steric hindrance,and then the exposed Ag active sites of the obtained Ag_(29)(SSR)_(12)nanocluster were partly re-protected by Ag^(+),yielding an Ag_(29)(SSR)_(12)-Ag_(2)nanocluster with a symmetry-breaking ***_(29)(SSR)_(12)-Ag_(2)followed a chiral crystallization mode,and its crystal displayed strong optical activity,derived from CD and CPL ***,this work presents a new approach(i.e.,active-site exposing and partly re-protecting)for the symmetry breaking of highly symmetrical nanoclusters,the enantioseparation of nanocluster racemates,and the achievement of highly optical activity.

Objective The prevalence and the cluster characteristics of risk factors of stroke were assessed in a Chinese diabetic *** Clinical data of 30693 inpatients who were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and admitted between 2013 and 2018 were retrospectively *** age-standardized prevalence of stroke was estimated using the 2010 Chinese population census data,and risk factors were analyzed by multiple imputation and *** The crude and standardized prevalence rates of stroke in patients with T2DM were 34.4%and 21.5%,respectively,and 85.2%of the stroke patients had ischemic *** half of the patients who experienced stroke had clusters of more than 4 risk *** with no-risk-factor clustering,the risk of stroke significantly increased 3-4 times in the presence of more than 4 risk-factor clusters(P<0.001).Hypertension was the most common major risk factor for ischemic stroke[odds ratio(OR),2.34;95%confidence interval(CI),2.18-2.50]and hemorrhagic stroke(OR,3.68;95%CI 2.95-4.59;P<0.001).Moreover,a 1-standard-deviation increase in fasting blood glucose(FBG)was significantly negatively correlated with ischemic stroke risk,and the same change in FBG was significantly associated with an 8%increased risk of hemorrhagic *** The prevalence of stroke in patients with T2DM is rather high,and the clustering of risk factors is associated with the development of stroke in T2DM *** factors differ in different stroke *** risk factors for a specific high-risk group is necessary.
