Estimation of surface ozone concentration over Jiangsu province using a high-performance deep learning model

Recently,the global background concentration of ozone(O_(3))has demonstrated a rising *** various methods,groun-basedmonitoring of O_(3)concentrations is highly reliable for research *** obtain information on the spatial characteristics of O_(3)concentrations,it is necessary that the groundmonitoring sites be constructed in sufficient *** recent years,many researchers have used machine learning models to estimate surface O_(3)concentrations,which cannot fully provide the spatial and temporal information contained in a sample *** solve this problem,the current study utilized a deep learning model called the Residual connection Convolutional Long Short-Term Memory network(RConvLSTM)to estimate daily maximum8-hr average(MDA8)O_(3)over Jiangsu province,China during *** this research,the R-ConvLSTM model not only provides the spatiotemporal information ofMDA8 O_(3),but also involves residual connection to avoid the problem of gradient explosion and gradient disappearance with the deepening of network *** utilized the TROPOMI total O_(3)column retrieved fromSentinel-5 Precursor,ERA5 reanalysismeteorological data,and other supplementary data to build a pre-trained *** R-ConvLSTM model achieved an overall sample-base cross-validation(CV)R^(2)of 0.955 with root mean square error(RMSE)of 9.372μg/m^(3).Model estimation also showed a city-based CV R^(2)of 0.896 with RMSE of 14.029μg/m^(3),the highest MDA8 O_(3)in spring being 122.60±31.60μg/m^(3)and the lowest in winter being 69.93±18.48μg/m^(3).

Surface-exchange of NOx and NH_3 above a winter wheat field in the Yangtze Delta, China

A four-dynamic-chamber system was constructed to measure NOx and NH3 surface-exchange between a typical wheat field and the atmosphere in the Yangtze Delta, China. The average fluxes of NO, NO2 and NH3 were 79, -5.6 and -5.1 ngN/（m^2·s）, and 91, -1.8 and 23 ngN/（m^2·s）, respectively for the wheat field and the bare soil. The NO flux was positively correlated with soil temperature and the fluxes of NO2 and NH3 were negatively correlated with their ambient concentrations during the investigated period. The compensation point of NO2 between the wheat field and the atmosphere was 11.9 μg/m3. The emissions of NO-N and NH3-N from the urea applied to the wheat field were 2.3% and 0.2%, respectively, which indicated that the main pathway of N loss from the investigated winter wheat field was NO. Application of a mixture of urea and lignin increased the emissions of NO, but also greatly increased the yield of the winter wheat.

Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma with overexpressed Ki-67 transitioning into systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma:A case report

BACKGROUND Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma(PC-ALCL)differs from systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma(sALCL)in cell biological behavior,clinical features,treatment,and ***-ALCL has been reported to rarely transition into sALCL,but the underlying mechanism is not *** we report such a case with certain characteristics that shed light on *** SUMMARY Herein,we report a 43-year-old male with symptoms of a skin nodule and histologically confirmed PC-ALCL with high expression of *** three months of observation,two skin nodules re-appeared with muscle layer involvement and was histologically confirmed as *** months after receiving six cycles of CHOP regimen,the patient had pain in the chest and back,cough,shortness of breath,and night *** was confirmed as relapse of sALCL by immunohistochemistry and several organs,such as the lung were involved as shown by positron emission tomography/computed *** four cycles of DICE plus chidamide regimens followed by auto-hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(ASCT),complete remission(CR)duration was achieved for twelve months while the patient was on maintenance with chidamide(20 mg)*** This case had significantly high expression of Ki-67 when diagnosed as PC-ALCL initially and then transitioned into sALCL,which is ***-ASCT combined with demethylation drugs effectively maintained CR and prolonged progression free survival.

Impact Evaluation of CONSORT and STRICTA Guidelines on Reporting Quality for Randomized Controlled Trials of Acupuncture Conducted in China

Objective： To evaluate and compare the reports＇ qualities of acupuncture randomized controlled trials （RCTs） conducted in China before and after the implementation of two guidelines, i.e., the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials （CONSORT） statement and the Standards for Reporting Interventions in Controlled Trials of Acupuncture （STRICTA）. Methods： Proportions of studies that reported CONSORT and STRICTA items were compared for the years before and after implementation of these two guidelines. In addition, the total score of each item＇s reporting were calculated and reported differences during different date ranges were compared. Results： For CONSORT items （maximum score 8）, there was evidence of a slight improvement in reporting between 1994-1995 and 1999-2000 combined （2.5 ± 0.6） and 2004-2006 and 2009-2010 combined （3.0 ± 0.9; difference 0.4, 95% confidence interval, 0.3 to 0.6, P〈0.01）. For STRICTA items （maximum score 17）, there was evidence that a slight improvement in reporting between 1994-1995 and 1999-2000 combined （8.6±2.1） and 2004-2005 and 2009-2010 combined （10.1 ±1.8; difference 1.5, 95% confidence interval, 1.1 to 1.9, P〈0.01）. Conclusion： Quality of reporting for RCTs of acupuncture treatment conducted in China have generally improved since the introduction of the STRICTA and CONSORT guidelines.

Fabrication and properties of foam geopolymer using circulating fluidized bed combustion fly ash

In recent years, circulating fluidized bed combustion fly ash （CFA） is used as a raw material for geopolymer synthesis. Hydrogen peroxide was employed as a foaming agent to prepare CFA-based foam geopolymer. The particle distribution, mineral composition, and chemical composition of CFA were examined firstly. Geopolymerization products were characterized by mechanical testing, scanning elec- tron microscopy （SEM）, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, and X-ray fluorescence （XRF）. The CFA-based foam geopolymer was successfully fabri- cated with different contents of hydrogen peroxide and exhibited uncompleted alkali reaction and reasonable strength with relative low atomic ratios of Si/Al and Si/Na. Type-C CFA in this research could be recycled as an akernative source material for geopolymer production.

THE INVERSE PROBLEM OF KLEIN-GORDON EQUATION BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM AND ITS APPLICATION IN DATA ASSIMILATION

Since the solution of elliptic partial differential equations continuously depends on the boundary condition,the Euler equation derived from variational method cannot be solved without boundary condition. It is often difficult to provide the exact boundary condition in the practical use of variational method. However, in some application problems such as the remote sensing data assimilation, the values can be easily obtained in the inner region of the domain. In this paper, the boundary condition is tried to be retrieved by using part solutions in the inner area. Firstly, the variational problem of remote sensing data assimilation within a circular area is established. The Klein-Gordon elliptic equation is derived from the Euler method of variational problems with assumed boundary condition. Secondly, a computer-friendly Green function is constructed for the Dirichlet problem of two-dimensional Klein-Gordon equation, with the formal solution according to Green formula. Thirdly, boundary values are retrieved by solving the optimal problem which is constructed according to the best approximation between formal solutions and high-accuracy measurements in the interior of the domain. Finally, the assimilation problem is solved on substituting the retrieved boundary values into the Klein-Gordon equation. It is a type of inverse problem in mathematics. The advantage of this method lies in that it overcomes the inherent instability of the inverse problem of Fredholm integral equation and alleviates the error introduced by artificial boundary condition in data fusion using variational method in the past.

Chinese research into severe ulcerative colitis has increased in quantity and complexity

AIM To investigate the current state of research output from Chinese studies into severe ulcerative colitis(SUC) using a bibliometric analysis of publications. METHODS The contents of the Chinese periodical databases WANFANG, VIP, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure were searched for all papers regarding UC or SUC published in last the 15 years (from 2001 to 2015). The number of publications in each year was recorded to assess the temporal trends of research output. All SUC related publications were downloaded and the complexity of this research was evaluated with methods described previously. The number of patients with SUC reported each year was recorded and their clinical characteristics were analyzed using information available in the relevant papers. RESULTS There were 13499 publications regarding UC published in Chinese medical journals between 2001 and 2015, of which 201 focused on SUC. The number of publications increased rapidly with more than half of all papers being published in the most recent 5-year period. There was a significant increase in analyticalstudies and clinical trials over the study period (P ximab in disease management. About 6222 patients with SUC were reported in the 201 SUC relevant papers, with a ratio of male/female of 1.38. The number of patients reported in each 5-year period significantly increased. The colectomy rate and short-term mortality rate were 7.7% and 0.8% respectively. Glass catfish(Kryptopterus vitreolus)are notable in the aquarium trade for their highly transparent body *** transparency is due to the loss of most reflective iridophores and light-absorbing melanophores in the main body,although certain black and silver pigments remain in the face and *** date,however,the molecular mechanisms underlying this transparent phenotype remain largely *** explore the genetic basis of this transparency,we constructed a chromosome-level haplotypic genome assembly for the glass catfish,encompassing 32 chromosomes and 23344 protein-coding genes,using PacBio and Hi-C sequencing technologies and standard assembly and annotation *** revealed a premature stop codon in the putative albinism-related tyrp1b gene,encoding tyrosinase-related protein 1,rendering it a nonfunctional ***,a synteny comparison with over 30 other fish species identified the loss of the endothelin-3(edn3b)gene in the glass catfish *** investigate the role of edn3b,we generated edn3b^(−/−)mutant zebrafish,which exhibited a remarkable reduction in black pigments in body surface stripes compared to wild-type *** findings indicate that edn3b loss contributes to the transparent phenotype of the glass *** high-quality chromosome-scale genome assembly and identification of key genes provide important molecular insights into the transparent phenotype of glass *** findings not only enhance our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying transparency in glass catfish,but also offer a valuable genetic resource for further research on pigmentation in various animal species.
