Flexible pressure sensors have many potential applications in the monitoring of physiological signals because of their good biocompatibil-ity and ***,their relatively low sensitivity,linearity,and stability have hindered their large-scale commercial ***,aﬂexible capacitive pressure sensor based on an interdigital electrode structure with two porous microneedle arrays(MNAs)is *** porous substrate that constitutes the MNA is a mixed product of polydimethylsiloxane and *** to its porous and interdigital structure,the maximum sensitivity(0.07 kPa-1)of a porous MNA-based pressure sensor was found to be seven times higher than that of an imporous MNA pressure sensor,and it was much greater than that of aﬂat pressure sensor without a porous MNA ***-element analysis showed that the interdigital MNA structure can greatly increase the strain and improve the sensitivity of the *** addition,the porous MNA-based pressure sensor was found to have good stability over 1500 loading cycles as a result of its bilayer parylene-enhanced conductive electrode *** importantly,it was found that the sensor could accurately monitor the motion of aﬁnger,wrist joint,arm,face,abdomen,eye,and Adam’s ***,preliminary semantic recognition was achieved by monitoring the movement of the Adam’s ***,multiple pressure sensors were integrated into a 33 array to detect a spatial pressure distribu-×*** to the sensors reported in previous works,the interdigital electrode structure presented in this work improves sensitivity and stability by modifying the electrode layer rather than the dielectric layer.

Autophagy in hepatic progenitor cells modulates exosomal miRNAs to inhibit liver fibrosis in schistosomiasis

Schistosoma infection is one of the major causes of liver *** roles of hepatic progenitor cells(HPCs)in the pathogenesis of liver fibrosis have been ***,the precise mechanism underlying the role of HPCs in liver fibrosis in schistosomiasis remains *** study examined how autophagy in HPCs affects schistosomiasis-induced liver fibrosis by modulating exosomal *** activation of HPCs was verified by immunohistochemistry(IHC)and immunofluorescence(IF)staining in fibrotic liver from patients and mice with Schistosoma japonicum *** coculturing HPCs with hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)and assessing the autophagy level in HPCs by proteomic analysis and in vitro phenotypic assays,we found that impaired autophagy degradation in these activated HPCs was mediated by lysosomal *** autophagy by the autophagy inhibitor chloroquine(CQ)significantly diminished liver fibrosis and granuloma formation in ***-infected ***-secreted extracellular vehicles(EVs)were further isolated and studied by miRNA ***-1306-3p,miR-493-3p,and miR-34a-5p were identified,and their distribution into EVs was inhibited due to impaired autophagy in HPCs,which contributed to suppressing HSC *** conclusion,we showed that the altered autophagy process upon HPC activation may prevent liver fibrosis by modulating exosomal miRNA release and inhibiting HSC activation in *** the autophagy degradation process may be a therapeutic strategy for liver fibrosis during Schistosoma infection.

Aiming at the tracking problem of a class of discrete nonaffine nonlinear multi-input multi-output(MIMO) repetitive systems subjected to separable and nonseparable disturbances, a novel data-driven iterative learning control(ILC) scheme based on the zeroing neural networks(ZNNs) is proposed. First, the equivalent dynamic linearization data model is obtained by means of dynamic linearization technology, which exists theoretically in the iteration domain. Then, the iterative extended state observer(IESO) is developed to estimate the disturbance and the coupling between systems, and the decoupled dynamic linearization model is obtained for the purpose of controller synthesis. To solve the zero-seeking tracking problem with inherent tolerance of noise,an ILC based on noise-tolerant modified ZNN is proposed. The strict assumptions imposed on the initialization conditions of each iteration in the existing ILC methods can be absolutely removed with our method. In addition, theoretical analysis indicates that the modified ZNN can converge to the exact solution of the zero-seeking tracking problem. Finally, a generalized example and an application-oriented example are presented to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed process.

Genome-wide identification and characterization of the PbrATG family in Pyrus bretschneideri and functional analysis of PbrATG1a in response to Botryosphaeria dothidea

The pear is an economic fruit that is widely planted around the world and is loved by people for its rich nutritional value. Autophagy is a self-protection mechanism in eukaryotes, and its occurrence often accompanied by the degradation of damaged substances in cells and the recycling of nutrients. Autophagy is one of the mechanisms through which plants respond to environmental stress and plays an important role in plant development and stress resistance. Functional studies of autophagy-related genes (ATGs) have been performed on a variety of plant species, but little information is available on the ATG family in pear (Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd). Therefore, we analyzed the evolutionary dynamics and performed a genome-wide characterization of the PbrATG gene family. A total of 28 PbrATG members were *** analysis showed that PbrATGs were more closely related to ATGs of European pear and apple. Evolutionary analysis revealed that whole-genome duplication (WGD) and dispersed duplication events were the main driving forces of PbrATG family *** analysis of different pear tissues showed that all the genes were expressed in different pear tissues, and different PbrATGs are expressed at different times and in different locations. Moreover, all PbrATGs also responded to different abiotic stresses, especially salt and drought stress, which elicited the highest expression levels. According to the gene expression data, PbrATG1a was selected as a key autophagy gene for further analysis. Amplifying colorectal cancer progression: impact of a PDIA4/SP1 positive feedback loop by circPDIA4 sponging miR-9-5p

Objective: Colorectal cancer(CRC) is a prevalent malignant tumor with a high fatality rate. CircPDIA4 has been shown to have a vital role in cancer development by acting as a facilitator. Nevertheless, the impact of the circPDIA4/miR-9-5p/SP1 axis on development of CRC has not been ***: Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction assays were used to analyze gene expression. The CCK-8 assay was used to assess cell growth. The Transwell assay was used to detect invasion and migration of cells. The luciferase reporter and RNA immunoprecipitation tests were used to determine if miR-9-5p and circPDIA4(or SP1) bind to one another. An in vivo assay was used to measure tumor ***: It was shown that circPDIA4 expression was greater in CRC cell lines and tissues than healthy cell lines and tissues. CircPDIA4 knockdown prevented the invasion, migration, and proliferation of cells in CRC. Additionally, the combination of circPDIA4 and miR-9-5p was confirmed, as well as miR-9-5p binding to SP1. Rescue experiments also showed that the circPDIA4/miR-9-5p/SP1 axis accelerated the development of CRC. In addition, SP1 combined with the promoter region of circPDIA4 and induced circPDIA4 transcription. CircPDIA4 was shown to facilitate tumor growth in an in vivo ***: The circPDIA4/miR-9-5p/SP1 feedback loop was shown to aggravate CRC progression. This finding suggests that the ceRNA axis may be a promising biomarker for CRC patient treatment.
