When the photovoltaic(PV)system is generating PV power,the partial shading(PS)condition will cause multiple peaks in the power-voltage curve,and changes in light intensity and ambient temperature will cause the curve to shift.Traditional maximum power point tracking(MPPT)methods,such as the incremental conductance(INC)method,have the problem of being trapped in the local optimal solution.Biomimetic optimization algorithms,such as particle swarm optimization(PSO),have problems with oscillation and low tracking efficiency near the global maximum power point(GMPP).As a result,a hybrid algorithm CS-INC based on the cuckoo search(CS)algorithm and the perturb and observe(P&O)approach is proposed in this study.The light intensity remains constant,the light intensity changes in steps,and the partial shade scenario are simulated.Simulation results show that the MPPT improves accuracy,speed,and stability.

Sea cucumber saponins have attracted more attention in recent years due to biological activities.It is a popular practice to soak sea cucumber in Baijiu at home and being applied to industrial manufacturing in China.However,knowledge of the effect of alcohol on the absorption and metabolism of sea cucumber saponins is limited.The effects of alcohol on digestion,absorption and metabolism of sea cucumber saponins in BALB/c mice were investigated after gavage and tail intravenous injection.The results showed that the content of saponins in serum and liver was significantly higher under the influence of alcohol than that in the control group after oral administration.Alcohol promoted the absorption of sea cucumber saponins prototype as well as inhibited the process of saponins being transformed into deglycositic metabolites in the small intestine.Moreover,sea cucumber saponins remained in circulation for a long time and alcohol slowed down the clearance of sea cucumber saponins under the influence of alcohol after intravenous injection.This confirmed the feasibility of marinating sea cucumber in Baijiu to improve the efficacy of saponins and provides an important theoretical basis for the utilization of sea cucumber and the development of sea cucumber liquor.

Trimethylamine N-oxide(TMAO)is a risk factor of various chronic diseases,which was produced by metabolism from precursors to trimethylamine(TMA)in gut and the oxidation from TMA in liver.The TMA generation was influenced by diet,mainly due to the rich TMAO precursors in diet.However,it was still unclear that the effects of different proportion and source of macronutrients in different dietary pattern on the production process of TMAO.Here,the generation of TMA from precursors and TMAO from TMA was determined after single oral choline chloride and intraperitoneal injection TMA,respectively,in mice fed with carbohydrates,proteins and fats in different proportion and sources.The results suggested that the generation of TMAO was increased by low non-meat protein and high fat via enhancing the production of TMAO from TMA,and decreased by plant protein and refined sugar via reducing TMA production from precursors in gut and TMAO transformation from TMA in liver.The high fat and high sugar diets accelerating the development of atherosclerosis did not increase the production of TMAO,the risk factor for atherosclerosis,which indicated that the dietary compositions rather than the elevated TMAO level might be a more key risk factor for atherosclerosis.

ZnO_(1-x)S_(x) films were prepared by chemical bath deposition(CBD)on glass substrate.The effects of ammonia concentration on the structure characteristics of ZnO_(1-x)S_(x) films were studied.The results of scanning electron microscope(SEM)show that the film has good density when the concentration of ammonia is 0.4 M.Because more S2-ions are involved in the reaction and less precipitates are generated,the film is relatively dense.The distribution of the film element shows that the growth rate of the film first accelerates and then slows down as the concentration of ammonia increases.X-ray diffraction(XRD)study shows that the diffraction peak is obvious when the ammonia concentration is 0.4 M,and the crystallinity of the film is good.Ultraviolet(UV)spectrophotometer test results show that the ratio of S content(x)and optical band gap(E_(g))satisfies E_(g)(x)=3.3257x^(2)-2.7187x+4.3576.Increasing S content can increase the optical band gap of the film,and increasing ammonia concentration can improve the absorbance of the film,but both have good transmittance.At the ammonia concentration of 0.4 M,the absorbance of the film is good in the wavelength range of 300—900 nm,the transmission rate reaches 80%,and the band gap is 3.75 e V,which is suitable for the buffer layer of solar cells.

Autophagy directly regulates the amyloid-peptides （Aβ） clearance， and its dysfunction occurs in the early pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease （AD）. We previously reported that docosahexaenoic acid-acylated astaxanthin monoester （AST-DHA） showed neuroprotection against AD pathology. However， its in-depth mechanism and autophagic responses in AD brains are poorly understood. Herein， SH-SY5Y cells overexpressing the APP gene were established to preliminarily evaluate the actions of AST-DHA on reducing Aβ1-42levels and regulating autophagy. In microglial BV2 cells， AST-DHA and free astaxanthin （F-AST） recovered p62 and LC3II/I levels， and restored autophagy flux by rescuing the late phase of microglial autophagy. Notably， autophagic inhibitor bafilomycin A1 blunted the abilities of AST-DHA to reduce Aβ1-42and fibral Aβ， suggesting that AST-DHA probably promoted Aβ clearance in a microglial autophagy-dependent manner. Further studies in APP/PS1 mice verified that dietary AST-DHA and F-AST promoted Aβ phagocytosis via microglial autophagy. Significant decreases of Iba1 and p62 levels were observed around Aβ plaque in the hippocampus and cortex using triple fluorescence staining. Furthermore， AST-DHA exhibited superior performance over F-AST in restoring autophagic dysfunction， ameliorating Aβ burden and cognitive deficit. Our findings suggest a possible mechanism of AST-DHA in improving AD by which it restores microglial autophagy to facilitate cerebral Aβ clearance. It supports the future application of AST-DHA as an autophagic regulator in maintaining brain function.

ZnO_(1-x)S_(x) thin films modified by sulfur doping were prepared on glass substrates by chemical bath deposition(CBD) for studying the effect of thiourea concentration on the thin film properties. The obtained ZnO_(1-x)S_(x) thin films were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), which shows the surfaces of ZnO_(1-x)S_(x) thin films deposited under the thiourea concentration of 0.14 M are more compact. X-ray diffraction(XRD) measurement shows that the ZnO_(1-x)S_(x) thin films with hexagonal crystal structure had strong diffraction peaks and better crystallinity. The optical transmittance of the ZnO_(1-x)S_(x) thin films with 0.14 M thiourea concentration is above 80% in the wavelength range of 300-900 nm. According to the measurement results from spectrophotometer, the ZnO_(1-x)S_(x) band gap energy value Eg varies nonlinearly with different S/(S+O) ratio x, and increases with the increase of x. There is a band gap value of 2.97 eV in the ZnO_(1-x)S_(x) thin films deposited under 0.14 M thiourea concentration. Therefore, the thin films have better structural, optical and electric properties, and are more suitable for the buffer layers of copper indium gallium selenide(CIGS) thin film solar cells.

Effect of preheating and annealing temperature on the microstructure and optoelectronic properties of CZTS films prepared by sol-gel method

The effects of different preheating and annealing temperatures on the surface morphology,microstructure,and optical properties of Cu_(2)ZnSnS_(4)(CZTS) thin films are investigated by controlling the preheating and annealing temperatures.The prepared thin films were characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and ultra-violet-visible(UV-Vis) spectroscopy techniques.XRD and Raman spectroscopy showed that a Kesterite structure with a selective orientation along the(112) peak was generated,and the thin films produced at a preheating temperature of 300℃ and annealing temperature of 570℃ had fewer secondary phases,which was beneficial for improving the performance of the solar cells.SEM confirms that the crystallite size increases and then decreases as the temperature increases,and the largest and most uniform crystallite size with the smoothest surface is generated at the above preheating and annealing temperatures.UV-Vis measurements show that the thin films generated at the above temperature have the lowest transmittance and the lowest optical band gap value of 1.46 e V,which is close to the optimal band gap value for solar cells and is suitable as an absorber layer material.

Sea cucumber derived sulfated sterols (SS) significantly ameliorated insulin resistance and decreased lipid accumulation compared to plant sterols. Interestingly， our recent study found that intervention with sea cucumber sulfated sterols could significantly increase blood glucose levels of healthy mice in the presence of glucose， while cholesterol sulfate， as one of sulfated sterols， did not have the same effect. However， the exact mechanism of SS on glucose metabolism is still unknown. In the present study， we investigated the potential mechanism by which SS influenced blood glucose homeostasis in healthy mice. Results showed that intervention with sea cucumber sulfated sterols did not affect the levels of hormones related to glucose metabolism， while led to a significant decrease in the synthesis of liver glycogen and muscle glycogen. Besides， the expression of proteins associated with the promotion of gluconeogenesis dramatically increased in the mice intervened with sea cucumber sulfated sterols. These findings suggested that sea cucumber sulfated sterols might change blood glucose metabolism in healthy mice by reducing glycogenesis and promoting gluconeogenesis.

LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)cathode material is prepared by sol-gel method and the effects of Nb^(5+)doping and different calcination temperatures on cathode materials were deeply investigated.Structural and morphological characterizations revealed that the optimal content of 1 mol%Nb^(5+)can stabilize layered structures,mitigate Ni^(2+)migration to Li layers,improve lithium diffusion capacity,and reduce lattice expansion/shrinkage while cycling.And calcination temperature at 800℃can not only ensure good morphology,but also suppress the mixed discharge of lithium and nickel in the internal structure.Electrochemical performance evaluation revealed that Nb^(5+)doping improves the discharge-specific capacity of the material,which is conducive to ameliorating its rate capability and cycle performance.And the material at 800℃exhibits the highest discharge specific capacity,the best magnification performance,low polarizability,and the best cycle reversibility.
