The global trend towards new energy storage systems has stimulated the development of electrochemical energy storage *** these technologies,rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have attracted considerable interest as a potential alternative to lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to their affordable cost,environmental compatibility and high safety *** this study,a high-quality electrode for AZIBs has been successfully developed using a dehydrated mixed-valence polyoxometalate-based three-dimensional(3D)inorganic framework material known as[H_6Mn_(3)V^Ⅳ_(15)V-^Ⅴ_(4O)_(46)(H_2O)_(12)](3D-MnVO).This innovative 3D-MnVO material is built from the alternate connections of{V_(19)O_(46)}"sphere-shaped"clusters andμ_(2)-{Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)}bridges,where each{V_(19)O_(46)}cluster is surrounded by three pairs of vertically distributed{Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)}units,thus resulting in the 3D interpenetrating grid-like network from the infinite[-{V_(19)O_(46)}-μ_(2)-Mn(H_(2)O)_(4)-{V_(19)O_(46)}]_∞chains in three mutually perpendicular *** 3D framework structure of 3D-MnVO possesses abundant oxygen vacancies,spacious and multi-level interconnected channels for ion transport,which facilitates the efficient intercalation/deintercalation of hydrated Zn^(2+)into the pores of the primary structure via the intercalation capacitance *** a result,the 3D-MnVO electrode exhibits excellent diffusion rates and minimal interfacial *** a current density of 0.1 A·g^(-1),the 3D-MnVO cathode delivers a commendable discharge capacity of170.5 mAh·g^(-1)with 81.6%capacity retention after100 charge/discharge ***,even at a high current density of 1.0 A·g^(-1),the 3D-MnVO electrode delivers a remarkable reversible capacity of198.9 mAh·g^(-1).Our research results provide valuable insights into the development of advanced polyoxometalate-based 3D inorganic framework electrode materials for high-performance rechargeable AZIBs.

A fast and real time luminosity monitor system will be used in the BEPC-Ⅱ(beijing Electron Positron Collider,china).Photons generated in radiative Bhabha scattering at the interaction point are transformed into charged particles,and then the luminosity of each bunch pair is measured through collecting the Cherenkov light produced by charged particles in fused *** whole process happening in the detector is *** physics acceptance and detection threshold with the monitor accu-racy of 1% are set based on the simulation spectra of photoelectron yield calibrated by e-beam data.

The features of unsteady flow such as pressure variation and fluctuation in a large hydraulic turbine usually lead to the instability of operation. This article reports the recent in site investigation concerning the characteristic frequencies in pressure fluctuation, shaft torsional oscillation and structural vibration of a prototype 700 MW Francis turbine unit. The investigation was carried out for a wide load range of 200 MW-700 MW in the condition of water head 57 m-90 m. An extensive analysis of both time-history and frequency data of these unsteady hydraulic behaviours was conducted. It was observed that the pressure fluctuation in a draft tube is stronger than that in upstream flow passage. The low frequency with about one third of rotation frequency is dominative for the pressure fluctuation in part load range. Also the unsteady features of vibration of head cover and torsional oscillation of shaft exhibited the similar features. Numerical analysis showed that the vibration and oscillation are caused by vortex rope in the draft tube. In addition, a strong vibration with special characteristic frequency was observed for the head cover in middle load range. The pressure fluctuation in the draft tube with the same frequency was also recorded. Because this special vibration has appeared in the designed normal running condition, it should be avoided by carefully allocating power load in the future operation.

Platelets are small, versatile blood cells that are critical for hemostasis/thrombosis. Local platelet accumulation is a known contributor to proinflammation in various disease states. However, the anti-inflammatory/immunosuppressive potential of platelets has been poorly explored. Here, we uncovered, unexpectedly, desialylated platelets (dPLTs) down-regulated immune responses against both platelet-associated and -independent antigen challenges. Utilizing multispectral photoacoustic tomography, we tracked dPLT trafficking to gut vasculature and an exclusive Kupffer cell-mediated dPLT clearance in the liver, a process that we identified to be synergistically dependent on platelet glycoprotein Ibα and hepatic Ashwell–Morell receptor. Mechanistically, Kupffer cell clearance of dPLT potentiated a systemic immunosuppressive state with increased anti-inflammatory cytokines and circulating CD4+ regulatory T cells, abolishable by Kupffer cell depletion. Last, in a clinically relevant model of hemophilia A, presensitization with dPLT attenuated anti-factor VIII antibody production after factor VIII ( infusion. As platelet desialylation commonly occurs in daily-aged and activated platelets, these findings open new avenues toward understanding immune homeostasis and potentiate the therapeutic potential of dPLT and engineered dPLT transfusions in controlling autoimmune and alloimmune diseases.

Heterogeneous reactions of SO2 on ZnO particle surfaces were studied using in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy （DRIFTS）. The influences of relative humidity （RH） and UV radiation （2= 365 nm） were investigated. In the absence of UV radiation, sulfite was the prominent product on the particle surfaces, and a negative relationship between RH and sulfite production was observed. In the presence of UV radiation, infrared （IR） absorption of sulfite and sulfate was evident in the spectra. With increasing RH or UV intensity, sulfite was gradually transformed into sulfate. UV intensity and RH exhibited a synergistic effect on the heterogeneous oxidation of SO2 on ZnO. On dry particles and with no UV radiation, the reaction order of SO2 on ZnO particles was 1.6. The initial uptake coefficient for the formation of sulfite, using the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller （BET） area as the reactive surface area of SO2, was 4.87 × 10^-6. At 40% RH and with UV radiation, the reaction order was 0.91, and the initial uptake coefficient was 2.29 ×10^-5.

Urban and regional air pollutions are characterized by high concentrations of secondary pollutants such as photo-oxidants （mainly ozone） and fine particulate matter, which are formed through chemical reactions of the primary pollutants emitted from various sources. The accumulation of these pollutants under stagnant meteorological conditions results in the formation of gray haze, reducing visibility and causing major impacts on human health and climate. In an air pollution complex, the co- existence of high concentrations of primary and secondary gaseous and particulate pollutants provides a large amount of reac- tants for heterogeneous reactions on the surface of fine particles; these reactions change the oxidizing capacity of the atmos- phere, as well as chemical compositions along with the physicochemical and optical properties of particulate matter, thereby accelerating formation of the air pollution complex and gray haze. Using in situ technologies, such as diffuse reflectance infra- red Fourier-transform spectroscopy and single-particle Raman spectroscopy, we systematically investigated the reaction kinet- ics and mechanisms of gaseous pollutants （i.e., NO2, SO2, 03, and formaldehyde） on the surfaces of the major components of atmospheric particles such as CaCO3, kaolinite, montmorillonite, NaC1, sea salt, A1203, and Tit2. We found that the main re- action products were sulfate, nitrate, or formate, which can change the hygroscopicity and light extinction parameters of those particles significantly. By analyzing the reaction kinetics of these heterogeneous reactions, we identified synergetic mechanisms of the three ternary reaction systems, ,i.e., NOE-particles-H2O, SO2-particles-O3, and organics/SO2-particles-UV illumination. These synergetic mechanisms can provide experimental and theoretical bases for understanding the feedback mechanisms and nonlinear processes in the formation of an air pollution complex and gray haze.

Nitro-aromatic compounds(NACs)are among the major components of brown carbon(BrC)in the atmosphere,causing negative impacts on regional climate,air quality,and ecological *** to the extensive origins,it is still a challenge to figure out the contributions and originating regions for different sources of atmospheric ***,field observations on fine particulate NACs were conducted at a coastal rural area in Qingdao,china in the winter of 2.1. and *** mean total concentrations of fine particulate nitro-aromatic compounds were 125.0±89.5 and 27.7±21.1 ng/m^(3)in the winter of 2.1. and 2.1.,*** the measured eleven NACs,nitrophenols and nitrocatechols were the most abundant *** characteristics and correlation analysis showed that humidity and anthropogenic primary emissions had significant influences on the NAC *** this study,two tracing methods of the improved spatial concentration weighted trajectory(SCWT)model and the receptor model of positive matrix factorization(PMF)were combined to comprehensively understand the origins of NACs in fine particles at coastal *** major sources were identified,including coal combustion,biomass burning,vehicle exhaust,and secondary ***,coal combustion was responsible for about half of the observed nitro-aromatic compounds,followed by biomass burning(~30%).The results by SCWT demonstrated that the coal combustion dominated NACs mainly originated from the Shandong peninsula and the areas to the north and southwest,while those dominated by biomass burning primarily came from local Qingdao and the areas to the west.
