Chromosome-level assembly of triploid genome of Sichuan pepper(Zanthoxylum armatum)

As an important spice species in Rutaceae, the Sichuan pepper (Zanthoxylum armatum) can provide pungent and numbing taste, as well as aroma in its mature fruit. Here we assembled a chromosome-level genome of green prickly ash which was widely cultivated in a major production area including Chongqing and Sichuan province, China. We generated 712 Gb (~112×) PacBio long reads and 511 Gb (~82×) Hi-C data, and yielded an assembly of 99 pseudochromosomes with total size of 5.32 Gb and contig n50 of 796 kb. The genomic analyses and cytogenetic experiments both indicated that the cultivarZhuye Huajiao’ was a triploid. We identified a Zanthoxylum-specific whole genome duplication event emerging about 24.8 million years ago (Mya). We also detected a transposition burst event (0.3-0.4 Mya) responsible for the large genome size of Z. armatum. Metabolomic analysis of the Zanthoxylum fruits during development stages revealed profiles of39 volatile aroma compounds and 528 secondary metabolites, from which six types of sanshools were identified. Based on metabolomic and transcriptomic network analysis, we screened candidate genes encoding long chain acyl-CoA synthetase, fatty acid desaturase,branched-chain amino acid aminotransferase involved in sanshool biosynthesis and three genes encoding terpene synthase during fruit development. The multi-omics data provide insights into the evolution of Zanthoxylum and molecular basis of numbing and aroma flavor of Sichuan pepper.

Covalent organic framework/carbon black/molecularly imprinted polydopamine composites for the selective recognition and electrochemical detection of ciprofloxacin

In this work， a novel electrochemical sensor based on covalent organic framework@carbon black@molecularly imprinted polydopamine （COF@CB@MPDA） was developed for selective recognition and determination of ciprofloxacin （CF）. COF@CB@MPDA possessed good water dispersibility and was synthesized by the self-polymerization of dopamine under alkaline conditions in the presence of the COF， CB and CF. The high surface area COF enhanced the adsorption of CF， whilst CB gave the composites high electrical conductivity to improve the sensitivity of the proposed COF@CB@MPDA/GCE sensor. The specific recognition of CF by COF@CB@MPDA involved hydrogen bonding and van der Waals interactions. Under optimized conditions， the sensor showed a good linear relationship with CF concentration over the range 5.0 × 10-7mol/L and 1.0 × 10-4mol/L， with a limit of detection （LOD） of 9.53 × 10-8mol/L. Further， the developed sensor exhibited high selectivity， repeatability and stability for CF detection in milk and milk powders. The method used to fabricate the COF@CB@MPDA/GCE sensor could be easily adapted for the selective recognition and detection of other antibacterial agents and organic pollutants in the environment.

Bifunctional ZrO@ZIF-90 nanozyme with high phosphohydrolase activity for sensitive electrochemical detection of methyl parathion

In this work， a novel bifunctional zirconium dioxide @ zeolitic imidazolate framework-90 (ZrO2@ZIF-90) nanozyme was successfully developed for the catalytic degradation and electrochemical detection of methyl parathion (MP). The ZrO2@ZIF-90 nanozyme with phosphatase hydrolysis activity can convert MP into p-nitrophenol (p-nP). The addition of ZrO2riched in Lewis acid Zr(IV) sites significantly enhanced the phosphatase hydrolysis activity of ZIF-90. ZrO2@ZIF-90 also displayed satisfactory electrocatalytic performance on account of the high surface area， high porosity and powerful enrichment ability of the ZIF-90 and the excellent ion transfer capacity of ZrO2. A ZrO2@ZIF-90 nanozyme modified glassy carbon electrode (ZrO2@ZIF-90/GCE) was then fabricated to analyze p-nP formed through MP degradation. Under the optimized conditions， the developed sensor displayed satisfactory analytical performance with a low limit of detection of 0.53 μmol L-1and two wide linear ranges (3-10 μmol L-1and 10-200 μmol L-1). ZrO2@ZIF-90 nanozyme accomplished to the degradation and electrochemical detection of MP in river water and spiked fruits. This study identifies a promising new strategy for the design of bifunctional nanozymes for the detection of environmental hazards.

Intravitreal conbercept injection with panretinal photocoagulation for high-risk proliferative diabetic retinopathy with vitreous hemorrhage

AIM:To assess the clinical efficacy and safety of combining panretinal photocoagulation(PRP)with intravitreal conbercept(IVC)injections for patients with high-risk proliferative diabetic retinopathy(HR-PDR)complicated by mild or moderate vitreous hemorrhage(VH),with or without diabetic macular edema(DME).METHODS:Patients diagnosed with VH with/without DME secondary to HR-PDR and received PRP combined with IVC injections were recruited in this retrospective *** establishing the patient’s diagnosis,an initial IVC was performed,followed by prompt administration of *** cases who significant bleeding persisted and impeded the laser operation,IVC was sustained before supplementing with *** the completion of PRP,patients were meticulously monitored for a minimum of six *** therapy and IVC injections were judiciously adjusted based on fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)*** effect and the incidence of adverse events were ***:Out of 42 patients(74 eyes),29 were male and 13 were female,with a mean age of 59.17±12.74y(33-84y).The diabetic history was between 1wk and 26y,and the interval between the onset of visual symptoms and diagnosis of HR-PDR was *** affected eye received 2.59±1.87(1-10)IVC injections and underwent 5.5±1.02(4-8)sessions of *** these,68 eyes received PRP following 1 IVC injection,5 eyes after 2 IVC injections,and 1 eye after 3 IVC *** absorption of VH was observed in all 74 eyes 5-50wk after initial treatment,with resolution of DME in 51 eyes 3-48wk after initial treatment.A newly developed epiretinal membrane was noted in one *** acuity significantly improved in 25 *** complications such as glaucoma,retinal detachment,or endophthalmitis were ***:The study suggests that the combination of PRP with IVC injections is an effective and safe modality for treating diabetic VH in patients with HR-PDR.

In this study,a numerical method based on the Pell-Lucas polynomials(PLPs)is developed to solve the fractional order HIV/AIDS epidemic model with a treatment *** HIV/AIDS mathematical model with a treatment compartment is divided into five classes,namely,susceptible patients(S),HIV-positive individuals(I),individuals with full-blown AIDS but not receiving ARV treatment(A),individuals being treated(T),and individuals who have changed their sexual habits sufficiently(R).According to the method,by utilizing the PLPs and the collocation points,we convert the fractional order HIV/AIDS epidemic model with a treatment compartment into a nonlinear system of the algebraic ***,the error analysis is presented for the Pell-Lucas approximation *** aim of this study is to observe the behavior of five populations after 200 days when drug treatment is applied to HIV-infectious and full-blown AIDS *** demonstrate the usefulness of this method,the applications are made on the numerical example with the help of *** addition,four cases of the fractional order derivative(p=1,p=0.95,p=0.9,p=0.85)are examined in the range[0,200].Owing to applications,we figured out that the outcomes have quite decent ***,we understand that the errors decrease when the value of n *** figures in this study are created in *** outcomes indicate that the presented method is reasonably sufficient and correct.

Analysis of risk factors of suicidal ideation in adolescent patients with depression and construction of prediction model
