BACKGROUND：Mailuoning, a Chinese herb, has been widely used in china to treat acute ischemic stroke, and the major component exhibits anti-oxidative effects. However, the precise anti-oxidation pathway remains ***：To validate the protective effects of Mailuoning on H202-induced primary cortical neuron injury in embryonic ***, TIME AND SETTING：Comparative observation and in v#ro experiments were performed at the Jiangsu key laboratory for Molecular Medicine from January 2008 to September ***：Mailuoning （nanjing Jinling Medical Company, china）, reactive oxygen species （ROS） kit （Beyotime Biotechnology, china）, superoxide dismutase （SOD）, Cu/Zn SOD kit, malondialdehyde （MDA） kits （nanjing Jiancheng, china）, mitochondrial membrane potential （GMS10013.1, GENMED, USA） and catalase activity assay kit （Beyotime Biotechnology, china） were utilized for the present ***：Mouse embryonic cortical neurons were isolated and cultured with culture medium containing H2O2 （80 μmol/L） and/or Mailuoning （1.25 μg/mL） for 24 *** OUTCOME MEASURES：Neuronal viability and death were detected by methyl thiazolyl tetrazdium and flow cytometry; ROS production was determined by flow cytometry; mitochondriai membrane potential was detected using fluorescent staining; SOD activity was detected using a modified nitroblue tetrazolium method; Cu/Zn SOD and catalase activity was detected by spectrophotometry; and MDA was determined using the lipid peroxidation ***：H2O2 increased ROS production and MDA concentration （P 〈 0.05）, and decreased mitochondrial membrane potential, SOD, Cu/Zn SOD and catalase activity （P 〈 0.05）; the number of surviving neurons （P 〈 0.05） was also reduced. Mai/uoning reversed these ***：Mailuoning protects H2O2-induced injury in cortical cells by inhibiting ROS and MDA, increasing depolarization of mitochondrial membrane, and enhancing SOD and catalase activity.

High-efficiency quantum steganography based on the tensor product of Bell states

In this paper,we first propose a hidden rule among the secure message,the initial tensor product of two Bell states and the final tensor product when respectively applying local unitary transformations to the first particle of the two initial Bell states,and then present a high-efficiency quantum steganography protocol under the control of the hidden *** the proposed quantum steganography scheme,a hidden channel is established to transfer a secret message within any quantum secure direct communication(QSDC) scheme that is based on 2-level quantum states and unitary *** secret message hiding/unhiding process is linked with the QSDC process only by unitary *** accurately describe the capacity of a steganography scheme,a quantitative measure,named embedding efficiency,is introduced in this *** performance analysis shows that the proposed steganography scheme achieves a high efficiency as well as a good ***,it is shown that this scheme can resist all serious attacks including the intercept-resend attack,measurement-resend attack,auxiliary particle attack and even the Denial of Service *** improve the efficiency of the proposed scheme,the hidden rule is extended based on the tensor product of multiple Bell states.

黏弹性装配式减震器的性能试验研究

为了降低黏弹性减震器的整体硫化成本以及防止其胶黏层提前开裂,对黏弹性减震器进行了改进设计,通过在钢板上增设凹槽和采用螺栓增加侧压力两种方法制作出适用于冷胶黏接的新型黏弹性装配式减震器.然后,对新型装配式减震器在不同工况下进行了力学性能试验,研究其耗能特点与破坏模式,并通过力-位移滞回曲线计算出黏弹性阻尼材料的储能模量以及损耗因子,进而得出装置构造、侧压力、加载频率与位移幅值对减震器力学性能的影响规律.试验结果表明:在钢板增设凹槽以及采用螺栓增加侧压力均能提高减震器耗散振动能量的能力,而且位移幅值和加载频率越大,耗散的能量越多;与无凹槽试件相比,凹槽的存在使减震器在不同侧压力下储能模量增大12.2%~27.4%,损耗因子增大8.2%~9.5%;当侧压力从0 MPa增加至0.833 MPa时,对于新型黏弹性装配式减震器,储能模量增大16.0%,损耗因子增大15.2%.因此,采用适当的外部条件以及合理的内部构造,可以充分发挥阻尼材料的耗能性能,大大提升减震器的减震效果.

Aqueous organic electrosynthesis such as nucleophile oxidation reaction(NOR) is an economical and green ***,its development has been hindered by the inadequate understanding of the synergy between the electrochemical and non-electrochemical *** this study,we unravel the NOR me chanism for the primary alcohol/vicinal diol electro oxidation on ***,the ele ctrochemical step is the generation of Ni3+-(OH)ads,and the spontaneous reaction between Ni3+-(OH)adsand nucle ophiles is an electrocatalyst-induced non-electrochemical *** identify that two electrophilic oxygen-mediated mechanisms(EOMs),EOM involving hydrogen atom transfer(HAT) and EOM involving C-C bond cleavage,play pivotal roles in the electro oxidation of primary alcohol to carboxylic acid and the electrooxidation of vicinal diol to carboxylic acid and formic acid,*** on these findings,we establish a unified NOR mechanism for alcohol electrooxidation and deepen the understanding of the synergy between the electrochemical and non-electro chemical steps during NOR,which can guide the sustainable electrochemical synthesis of organic chemicals.

Start-up of the anammox process from the conventional activated sludge in a hybrid bioreactor

The anaerobic ammonium oxidation （anammox） process was successfully started up from conventional activated sludge using a hybrid bioreactor within 2 *** average removal efficiencies of ammonia and nitrite were both over 80%,and the maximum total nitrogen removal rate of 1.85 kg N/（m^3 ·day） was obtained on day 362 with the initial sludge concentration of 0.7 g mixed liquor suspended solids （MLSS）/*** electron microscope （SEM） observation of the granular sludge in the hybrid reactor clearly showed a high degree of compactness and cell sphericity,and the cell size was quite *** electron microscope photos showed that cells were round or oval,the cellular diameter was 0.6-1.0 μm,and the percentage of the anammoxosome compartment was 51%-85% of the whole cell *** in situ hybridization analysis （FISH） indicated that anammox bacteria became the dominant population in the community （accounting for more than 51% of total bacteria on day 250）.Seven planctomycete 16S rRNA gene sequences were present in the 16S rRNA gene clone library generated from the biomass and affiliated to Candidatus Kuenenia stuttgartiensis and Candidatus Brocadia sp.,a new anammox *** addition,the average effluent suspended solid （MLSS） concentrations of outlets I （above the non-woven carrier） and II （below the non-woven carrier） were 0.0009 and 0.0035 g/L,*** showed that the non-woven carrier could catch the biomass effectively,which increased biomass and improved the nitrogen removal rate in the reactor.

Non-Hermitian systems can exhibit unconventional spectral singularities called exceptional points(EPs).Various EP sensors have been fabricated in recent years,showing strong spectral responses to external *** we propose how to achieve a nonlinear anti-parity-time(PT)gyroscope by spinning an optical *** show that,in the absence of any nonlinearity,the sensitivity or optical mode splitting of the linear device can be magnified up to 3 orders compared to that of the conventional device without ***,the PT symmetry can be broken when including the Kerr nonlinearity of the materials and,as a result,the detection threshold can be significantly lowered,i.e.,much weaker rotations which are well beyond the ability of a linear gyroscope can now be detected with the nonlinear *** work shows the powerful ability of PT gyroscopes in practice to achieve ultrasensitive rotation measurement.

As one of the most lethal diseases,pancreatic cancer shows a dismal overall prognosis and high resistance to most treatment ***,pancreatic cancer escapes early detection during the curable period because early symptoms rarely emerge and specific markers for this disease have not been *** combinations of new drugs,multimodal therapies,and adjuvants prolong survival,most patients still relapse after surgery and eventually ***,the search for more effective treatments for pancreatic cancer is highly relevant and *** a newly re-discovered mediator of gasotransmission,hydrogen sulfide(H2S)undertakes essential functions,encompassing various signaling complexes that occupy key processes in human *** evidence indicates that H2S exhibits bimodal modulation of cancer ***,endogenous or low levels of exogenous H2S are thought to promote cancer,whereas high doses of exogenous H2S suppress tumor ***,inhibition of endogenous H2S production also suppresses tumor ***,H2S biosynthesis inhibitors and H2S supplementation(H2S donors)are two distinct strategies for the treatment of ***,modulation of endogenous H2S on pancreatic cancer has not been studied so ***,H2S donors and their derivatives have been extensively studied as potential therapeutic agents for pancreatic cancer therapy by inhibiting cell proliferation,inducing apoptosis,arresting cell cycle,and suppressing invasion and migration through exploiting multiple signaling *** far as we know,there is no review of the effects of H2S donors on pancreatic *** on these concerns,the therapeutic effects of some H2S donors and NO-H2S dual donors on pancreatic cancer were summarized in this *** H2S donors may be promising compounds for pancreatic cancer treatment.

Selective Insertion in Copolymerization of Ethylene and Styrene Catalyzed by Half-Titanocene System Bearing Ketimide Ligand： A Theoretical Study

The copolymerization of ethylene and styrene can be efficiently carried out by using Cp＊TiCl2（N=CtBu2）/ MAO （Cp＊=η5-C5Me5） system, yielding the poly（ethylene-co-styrene）s with isolated styrene units. In order to in- vestigate the reasons for formation of the structure, the mechanism of copolymerization, especially the selective in- sertion of ethylene and styrene, is studied in detail by density functional theory （DFT） method. At the initiation stage, insertion of ethylene is kinetically more favorable than insertion of styrene, and insertion of styrene kinet- ically and thermodynamically prefers 2,1-insertion. That is different from the conventional half-titanocene system, in which the 1,2-insertion is favorable. At chain propagation stage, the computational results suggest that the con- tinuous insertion of styrene is hard to occur at room temperature due to the high free energy barriers （28.90 and 35.04 kcal/mol for 1,2-insertion, and 29.15 and 34.00 kcal/mol for 2,1-insertion） and thermodynamically unfavora- ble factors in two different conditions. That is mainly attributed to the steric hindrance between the coming styrene and chain-end styrene or ketimide ligand. The computational results are in good agreement with the experimental data.
