Dear Editor,Multiple experiments have established TNF-α-induced protein 3 (A20/TNFAIP3) as a critical regulator associated with rheumatoid arthritis(RA)[1,2].The lack of TNF-α-induced protein 3 (A20) promotes the NOD-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome and induces spontaneous arthritis,while increase of A20 reduces the secretion of IL-1β and favors immunological tolerance[3,4]. Hence, we investigate the feasibility of recombinant adeno-associated virus 6 (rAAV6)-mediated A20 gene therapy in a collageninduced arthritis (CIA) model.

The electrocatalytic activity of transition-metal-based compounds is closely related to the electronic ***,optimizing the surface electron spin state of catalysts remains a ***,we developed a spin-state and delocalized electron regulation method to optimize oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance by in-situ growth of NiCo_(2)(OH)_(x) using Oswald ripening and coordinating etching process on MXene and plasma treatment.X-ray absorption spectroscopy,magnetic tests and electron paramagnetic resonance reveal that the coupling of NiCo_(2)(OH)_(x) and MXene can induce remarkable spin-state transition of Co^(3+)and transition metal ions electron delocalization,plasma treatment further optimizes the 3 d orbital structure and delocalized electron *** unique Jahn-Teller phenomenon can be brought by the intermediate spin state(t2 _(g)^(5) e_(g)^(1))of Co^(3+),which benefits from the partial electron occupied *** distinct electron configuration(t2_(g)^(5) e_(g)^(1))with unpaired electrons leads to orbital degeneracy,that the adsorption free energy of intermediate species and conductivity were further *** optimized electrocatalyst exhibits excellent OER activity with an overpotential of 268 m V at 10 m A cm^(-2).DFT calculations show that plasma treatment can effectively regulate the d-band center of TMs to optimize the adsorption and improve the OER *** approach could guide the rational design and discovery of electrocatalysts with ideal electron configurations in the future.

The commercialized poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)is usually used as hole transport layers(HTLs)in tin-based perovskite solar cells(TPSCs).However,the further development has been restricted due to the acidity that could damage the stability of *** the PEDOT:PSS solution can be diluted by water to decrease acidity and reduce the cost of device fabrication,the electrical conductivity will decrease obviously in diluted PEDOT:PSS ***,potassium thiocyanate(KSCN)is selected to regulate the properties of PEDOT:PSS HTLs from the diluted PEDOT:PSS aqueous solution by water with a volume ratio of 1:1 to prepare efficient *** effect of KSCN addition on the structure and photoelectrical properties of PEDOT:PSS HTLs and TPSCs have been systematically *** the optimal KSCN concentration,the TPSCs based on KSCN-doped PEDOT:PSS HTLs(KSCN-PSCs)demonstrate the champion power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 8.39%,while the reference TPSCs only show a champioan PCE of 6.70%.The further analysis demonstrates that the KSCN additive increases the electrical conductivity of HTLs prepared by the diluted PEDOT:PSS solution,improves the microstructure of perovskite film,and inhibits carrier recombination in TPSCs,leading to the reduced hysteresis effect and enhanced PCE in *** work gives a low-cost and practical strategy to develop a high-quality PEDOT:PSS HTLs from diluted PEDOT:PSS aqueous solution for efficient TPSCs.

This study utilizes large-scale shell model calculations with the extended pairing and multipole–multipole force model(EPQQM)to investigate low-lying states in the nuclei of^(42)Ca,^(42)Sc,and^(42−44)*** model space in this study includes the fp shell as well as the intruder g_(9/2)orbit,which accurately reproduces the positive parity levels observed in the aforementioned nuclei and predicts high energy states with negative parity coupled with the intruder g_(9/2).The study further predicts two different configurations in^(43)Ti at around 6 MeV,specificallyπf_(7/2)^(2)νg_(9/2)andπf_(7/2)g_(9/2)νf_(7/2),both of which involve the intruder orbit g_(9/2).The levels coupled with the intruder g_(9/2)in^(44)Ti are predicted to lie between 7 and 11 *** inclusion of the intruder orbit g_(9/2)is crucial for the exploration of high energy states in the northeast region of the doubly magic nucleus^(40)Ca.

This study proposes a hybrid network model based on data enhancement to address the problem of low accuracy in photovoltaic(PV)power prediction that arises due to insuffi cient data samples for new PV ***,a time-series gener ative adversarial network(TimeGAN)is used to learn the distri bution law of the original PV data samples and the temporal correlations between their features,and these are then used to generate new samples to enhance the training ***,a hybrid network model that fuses bi-directional long-short term memory(BiLSTM)network with attention mechanism(AM)in the framework of deep&cross network(DCN)is con structed to effectively extract deep information from the origi nal features while enhancing the impact of important informa tion on the prediction ***,the hyperparameters in the hybrid network model are optimized using the whale optimi zation algorithm(WOA),which prevents the network model from falling into a local optimum and gives the best prediction *** simulation results show that after data enhance ment by TimeGAN,the hybrid prediction model proposed in this paper can effectively improve the accuracy of short-term PV power prediction and has wide applicability.

Hydraulic circuits with high speed on/off valve(HSV)for servo control have become commonplace in ***,the individual valve that is not volume-optimized results in a large total size of hydraulic control system,diminishing the *** address this issue,the high-precision equivalent reluctance model of the HSV is established by employing an equivalent magnetic circuit,on which the dynamic characteristic of the HSV,as well as the effects of structural parameters on switching behaviour,are *** on this model,multi-objective optimization is adopted to design an HSV with faster dynamic performance and smaller volume,NSGA-II genetic algorithm is applied to obtain the Pareto front of the desired *** assess the impact before and after optimization,an HSV based on the optimized structure is manufactured and *** experimental results show that the optimized HSV reduces 47.1%of its solenoid volume while improving opening and closing dynamic performance by 14.8%and 43.0%respectively,increasing maximum switching frequency by 6.2%,and expanding flow linear control area by 6.7%.These results validate the optimized structure and indicate that the optimization method provided in the paper is beneficial for developing superior HSV.

High speed on/off valve(HSV)is an essential component in aerospace digital hydraulic systems(ADHS).Dynamic performance and temperature rising characteristic are two important features,which determine the performance of HSV,and affect the response speed and reliability of *** the driving voltage is an effective method for improving the dynamic performance of ***,continuous high voltage excitation will lead to more wasted energy,higher temperature rising and lower *** solve this problem,a pre-excitation control algorithm(PECA)is proposed in this paper based on the theoretical model of the influence of electrical parameters on dynamic performance and temperature rising *** PECA,an appropriate initial coil current is generated by pre-excitation instead of increasing driving voltage,which significantly shortens the switching delay ***,based on real-time current online calculation and feedback mechanism,the adaptive switching of five equivalent voltages is ***,the coil current can be rapidly kept at the expected state without consuming more energy and generating more *** indicate that compared with conventional PWM control algorithm,the PECA can improve dynamic performance of HSV,shorten the total switching time by 71.5%,and increase the maximum operation ***,the linear area of flow characteristic is expended by 80.0%,the adjusting time of HSV-controlled system is reduced by 23%,while shortening steady error by 46.7%.Moreover,the temperature rising characteristics of HSV are better,the maximum operation temperature is reduced by 68.6%,and the time to reach the steady state temperature is shortened by 20%.From the results,it can be concluded that the PECA is not only an effective and practical control algorithm for improving the performance of HSVs and HSV-controlled systems while reducing the heat generation and decreasing the temperature rising of HSV,but also can be a potentia

Spherical nano-MoS_(2)(S-MoS_(2))has excellent lubricating properties and potential application value in engine oil *** soot can enter the engine oil,so the tribological interaction between S-MoS_(2)and diesel combustion soot(DCS)should be *** this study,DCS was used to simulate engine *** interaction was investigated in dioctyl sebacate(DOS),and the interaction mechanism was full *** showed that S-MoS_(2)and DCS had obvious antagonism effects on *** 0.5%S-MoS_(2)exhibited good lubricating properties in DOS,which could reduce friction by~22%and wear by~54%.However,after 0.5%S-MoS_(2)was added to the 0.5%DCS contaminated DOS,the lubrication performance was not improved and was even worse than that without S-MoS_(2).When S-MoS_(2)was added for DOS lubrication,a tribofilm containing MoS_(2)formed on the friction surface,but simultaneously adding 0.5%DCS resulted in the disappearance of the MoS_(2)***,under the action of friction heat,DCS and S-MoS_(2)could form hard Mo_(x)C_(y),thereby increasing abrasive ***,a preliminary deantagonism method was *** 2.0%zinc isooctyl dithiophosphate was added to the above antagonistic system,the friction coefficient did not show visible changes,but the wear recovered to a level close to that when only S-MoS_(2)was *** antiantagonism method is not very satisfactory and some more efficient methods need to be further explored.

In vitro reconstruction and characterization of tissue-engineered human corneal epithelium with seeder cells from an untransfected human corneal epithelial cell line

AIM: To demonstrate the morphology and structure of in vitro reconstructed tissue-engineered human corneal epithelium (TE-HCEP) with seeder cells from an untransfected HCEP cell line. METHODS: The TE-HCEPs were reconstructed in vitro with seeder cells from an untransfected HCEP cell line, and scaffold carriers of denuded amniotic membrane (dAM) in air-liquid interface culture for 3, 5, 7 and 9 days, respectively. The specimens were examined with hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining of paraffin-section, immunocytochemical staining, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. RESULTS: During in vitro reconstruction of TE-HCEP, HCEP cells formed a 3-4, 6-7 and 8-10 layers of an HCEP-like structure on dAMs in air-liquid interface culture for 3, 5 and 7 days, respectively. But the cells deceased to 5-6 layers and the structure of straified epithelium became loose at day 9. And the cells maintained positive expression of marker proteins (keratin 3 and keratin 12), cell-junction proteins (zonula occludens-1, E-cadherin, connexin 43 and integrin beta 1) and membrane transport protein of Na+-K+ ATPase. The HCEP cells in TE-HCEP were rich in microvilli on apical surface and established numerous cell-cell and cell-dAM junctions at day 5. CONCLUSION: The morphology and structure of the reconstructed TE-HCEP were similar to those of HCEP in vivo. The HCEP cells in the reconstructed TE-HCEP maintained the properties of HCEP cells, including abilities of forming intercellular and cell-extracellular matrix junctions and abilities of performing membrane transportation. The untransfected HCEP cells and dAMs could promisingly be used in reconstruction HCEP equivalent for clinical corneal epithelium transplantation.
