Influence of pulsed magneto-oscillation on microstructure and mechanical property of rectangular 65Mn steel ingot

The pulsed magneto-oscillation （PMO） technique has the potential to be applied in the production of heavy steel ingot. In order to confirm it and achieve more insights, the solidification of rectangular 65Mn steel ingot with the size of 220 mm×220 mm × 1000 mm was investigated under the impact of PMO. Experimental results present that PMO treatment can remarkably refine the solidified microstructure of 65Mn steel ingot in comparison with the reference ingot without PMO. The application of PMO not only significantly reduces the grain size, but also promotes the morphology transition of equiaxed grains from well-developed dendritic structures to globular structures. And the resulted globular morphology is mainly due to the fact that the PMO-induced forced flow enhances the stability of crystal growth. As a consequence, the average tensile strength of as-cast samples is enhanced from 643.4 to 762.9 MPa under the application of PMO.

Six new prenylated flavonoid glycosides,including four new furan-flavonoid glycosides wushepimedoside A–D(1–4)and two new prenyl flavonoid derivatives wushepimedoside E–F(5–6),and one know analog epimedkoreside B(7)were isolated from biotransformation products of the aerial parts of Epimedium *** structures were elucidated according to comprehensive analysis of HR-MS and NMR spectroscopic data,and the absolute configurations were assigned using experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroism(ECD)*** regulatory activity of compounds 1–7 on the production of testosterone in primary rat Leydig cells were investigated,and 4 and 5 exhibited testosterone production-promoting *** docking analysis suggested that bioactive compounds 4 and 5 showed the stable binding with 3β-HSD and 4 also had good affinity with Cyp17A1,which suggested that these compounds may regulate testosterone production through stimulating the expression of the above two key proteins.

Although the relationship between molecular and supramolecular chirality remains elusive,the existing results have demonstrated the vital role of hydrophilic motifs in controlling the supramolecular handedness of peptide nanofibrils compared with hydrophobic ***,unlike conventional hydrophobic residues,we speculate that aromatic hydrophobic residues are mostly likely to play a unique role in regulating the supramolecular handedness because theπ–πstacking interactions of their side chains are directional like hydrogen bonding and can direct high levels of self-assembly due to the geometric confining of aromatic *** confirm this hypothesis,we here design a series of amphiphilic short peptides,with their hydrophobic motifs being composed of aromatic *** short lengths not only favor their structural stability,synthesis,and sequence variation but also enable us to readily link their molecular and supramolecular *** the combination of experiments and theoretical simulations,we demonstrate that the peptides containing L-form aromatic residues form left-handed nanofibrils while those containing D-form aromatic residues assemble into right-handed ones,irrespective of the chirality of their C-terminal hydrophilic *** calculations revealed that the stacking of aromatic side chains betweenβ-strands directed the twisting direction of theβ-sheets formed,with L-and D-form phenylalanine side chains stacking in a clockwise and anti-clockwise way,and more ordered and stronger aromatic stacking for homochiral peptides facilitated the formation of nanofibrils with a marked tubular *** study has bridged the knowledge gap in our understanding of how aromatic residues affect the supramolecular chirality of short peptides.

An ultra-broadband perfect absorber consisting of cascaded nanodisk arrays is demonstrated by placing insulatormetal-insulator-metal nanodisks on insulator-metal film *** absorber shows over 90% absorption in a wavelength range between 600 nm and 4000 nm under transverse magnetic(TM) polarization,with an average absorptivity of 91.5%and a relative absorption bandwidth of 147.8%.The analysis of the electric field and magnetic field show that the synergy of localized surface plasmons,propagating surface plasmons,and plasmonic resonant cavity modes leads to the ultrabroadband perfect absorption,which accords well with the results of impedance-matched *** influences of structural parameters and different metal materials on absorption performance are ***,the absorber is polarization-independent,and the absorption remains more than 90% at a wide incident angle up to 400 under TE polarization and TM *** designed ultra-broadband absorber has promising prospects in photoelectric detection and imaging.

Charging the LiCoO_(2)(LCO)cathode to a higher voltage,for example 4.5 V compared to the commonly used 4.2 V,is now intensively pursued so as to achieve a higher specific ***,it suffers severe surface structural degradation and detrimental interfacial side reactions between cathode and electrolyte,which lead to the fast capacity fading during long-term ***,a surface coating strategy was developed for the protection of 4.5 V LCO by constructing a manganese oxides(MOs)nanoshell around LCO particles,which was achieved through a solution-based coating process with success in controlling the growth kinetics of the coating *** found that the introduction of the MOs nanoshell is highly effective in alleviating the organic electrolyte decomposition at the cathode surface,thus ensuring a much more stable LiF-rich cathode-electrolyte interface and an obvious lower interfacial resistance during electrochemical ***,this protection layer can effectively improve the structural stability of the cathode by hindering the cracks formation and structural degradation of LCO ***,the MOs modified LCO exhibited excellent rate performance and a high discharge capacity retention of 81.5%after 100 cycles at 1 C compared with the untreated LCO(55.2%),as well as the improved thermal stability and cyclability at the elevated *** is expected that this discovery and fundamental understanding of the surface chemistry regulation strategy provide promising insights into improving the reversibility and stability of LCO cathode at the cut-off voltage of 4.5 V.

We report the experimental realization of quantum degenerate Fermi gases of87Sr atoms under controlled 10-and dual-nuclear-spin *** on laser cooling and evaporative cooling,we achieve an ultracold Fermi gas of 10^(5)atoms equally distributed over 10 spin states,with a temperature of T/T_(F)=*** further prepare a dual-spin gas by optically pumping atoms to the m_(F)=9/2 and m_(F)=7/2 states and observe a slightly lower T/T_(F)than that for a 10-spin gas under the same trapping condition,showing efficient evaporative cooling under a decreasing number N of spin states(N≥2)despite the increasing importance of Pauli *** that rethermalization becomes less efficient with N approaching unity,we evaporatively cool an almost polarized gas to 130 *** simple and efficient preparation of ultracold Fermi gases of^(87)Sr with tunable spin configurations provides a first step towards engineering topological quantum systems.

BACKGROUND For the rarity of type 3 gastric neuroendocrine tumours(g-NETs),their clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis are not well *** To describe the clinicopathological features and outcome of type 3 g-NETs in the Chinese *** Based on the 2019 WHO pathological classification,the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of patients with type 3 g-NETs in China were retrospectively *** A total of 77 patients(55.8%of females)with type 3 g-NETs were analysed,with a median age of 48 years(range:28-79 years).The tumours were mainly located in the gastric fundus/body(83.1%)and were mostly solitary(83.1%),with a median size of 1.5 cm(0.8-3.5 cm).Of these,there were 37 G1 tumours(48.1%),31 G2(40.3%),and 9 G3(11.7%).Ten(13.0%)and 24(31.2%)patients had lymph node and distant metastasis,*** addition,type 3 g-NETs were *** with G1 NETs,G2 NETs had a higher lymph node metastasis rate,and G3 NETs had a higher distant metastasis rate.G1 and G2 NETs with stage I/II disease(33/68)received endoscopic treatment,and no tumour recurrence or tumour-related death was observed within a median follow-up time of 36 *** and distant metastasis were identified to be independent risk factors for prognosis in multivariable *** Type 3 g-NETs are obviously heterogeneous,and the updated WHO 2019 pathological classification may be used to effectively evaluate their biological behaviors and ***,endoscopic treatment should be considered for small(<2 cm),low grade,superficial tumours.

Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） is a unique health resource in China and one of the main representative traditional medicines globally. TCM has formed a new way of looking at medical practices, health care, scientific research, education, industry and culture. It focuses on promoting and safeguarding the health of people, with an increasing contribution to economic and social development. Establishing a comprehensive evaluation system in accordance with the characteristics of TCM services could promote the scientific merit and the standardization of services management. This would improve health service quality and the social and economic benefits of TCM. It would broaden the field of TCM services research. It would also provide the basis for the formulation of relevant government policies. This study estimates the prospect of establishing a comprehensive evaluation system of TCM services.
