Blood pressure monitoring via double sandwich-structured triboelectric sensors and deep learning models

Real-time blood pressure monitoring is essential for the timely diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular *** traditional prediction methods estimate blood pressure by measuring multiple sets of physiological signals with energyconsuming ***,a continuous,cuffless and self-powered blood pressure monitoring system was developed based on a new double sandwich-structured triboelectric sensor and a novel blood pressure method estimation.A pyramid-patterned sensor based on the double sandwich structure realizes a sensitivity of 0.89 V/kPa in a linear range of 0–35 kPa,which is more than twice of the conventional single electrode *** sensor processes a low pressure detection limit of 1 g andfast response time of 32 ***,it can easily capture the pulse signal at the radial ***,a novel method for estimating blood pressure using pulse waves accompanied by the user’s background information was *** method measures only one set of pulse signals and is portable.A deep learning model with multi-network structures was developed to improve the estimation *** mean absolute error and standard deviation of error for systolic and diastolic blood pressure(SBP and DBP)estimations were 3.79±5.27 and 3.86±5.18 mmHg,*** work reveals a new sensing structure of triboelectric sensors and offers a novel method for blood pressure estimation.

Amphioctopus fangsiao(Cephalopoda:Octopodidae)is an important commercial species in the coastal waters of *** recent years,however,the resource of *** have declined because of habitat destruction and *** analyze the genetic variations of *** caused by the fluctuation of resources,the population genetic structure of nine sampling locations collected from the Bohai Sea to the South China Sea were investigated,using mtDNA COI fragments and microsatellite *** results of F-statistics,AMOVA,STRUCTURE and PCA analyses showed three phylogeographic clades(Clades A,B and C),revealing limited genetic exchange between north and south *** clades diverged in 2.23(Clades A and B)and 3.67(Clades A,B and C)million years ago,during the dramatic environmental fluctuations,such as sea level and temperature changes,have exerted great influence on the survival distribution pattern of global *** results for low genetic connectivity among *** populations provide insights into the development of management strategies,that is,to manage this species as separate management unit.

The interface associativity and energy absorption capability of composite structure with anti-vibration porous Al-MM（cerium-rich mischmetal）alloy core and iron alloy skin were *** aluminum core/iron alloy skin structures were fabricated considering an iron alloy tube as its shell and closed-cell porous Al-MM alloy as its core.A peeling experiment was carried out to calculate the capacity of interfacial bonding and a compression test was carried out to determine the energy absorption *** results showed that the addition of MM significantly enhanced both the interfacial bonding and the energy absorption capacity.

The creep behavior of Fe–17 Cr–1.2 Cu–0.5 Nb–0.01 C ferritic heat-resistant stainless steel was investigated at temperatures ranging from 973 to 1123 K and stresses from 15 to 90 *** evolution of precipitates after creep deformation was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersion spectrum,and transmission electron *** minimum creep rate decreased with the decrease in the applied load and temperature,thereby extending the rupture ***-rich phase and Nb-rich Laves particles were generated in dominant quantities during the creep process,and the co-growth relationship between them could be *** rupture was featured by ductile fracture with considerable *** increasing the temperature and decreasing the stress,the softening of the metal matrix was accelerated,showing more obvious plastic fl *** true stress exponent and activation energy were 4.9 and 375.5 kJ/mol,respectively,indicating that the creep deformation was dominated by the diffusion-controlled dislocation creep mechanism involving precipitate-dislocation *** on the creep rupture data obtained,the Monkman–Grant relation and Larson-Miller parameter were established,which described the creep rupture life for the studied steel well.

17 Cr–1 Si–0.5 Nb–1.2 Cu ferritic heat-resistant stainless steel was aged at 750 °C from 10 min to 30 h to simulate time aging and study the microstructural evolution and its effect on corrosion behavior by using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and the Mott–Schottky approach. Four types of precipitates were discovered, including ε-Cu, NbC, Fe3 Nb3 C, and Fe2 Nb-type Laves phase. The nano-sized ε-Cu phase forms first, and its fraction follows the parabolic law change and is the largest. Compared to NbC and Fe3 Nb3 C particles, the coarsening of the Laves phase is the most pronounced. The aging process is divided into three parts: early-aged(0–5 h), peak-aged(5 h), and over-aged(5–30 h). However, the corrosion resistance is reduced in the early-aged stage of 0–2 h. Further extending the aging time to 30 h, the corrosion resistance is gradually improved. This change may be related to the competitive relationship between the beneficial effects of the Cu-rich phase and the harmful effects of Nb-containing particles. The dissolved Cu on the surface becomes more effective for the suppression of the anodic dissolution by the formation of ionic compounds of chlorine, thereby reducing the deterioration of corrosion resistance caused by Nb-rich precipitation.

Modified pectin cross-linked with adipic acid, was synthesized and used for heavy metal removal from wastewater. SEM and FTIR were used to investigate its structure and morphology. The modified pectin had a rough, porous phase covered with carboxy groups, resulting a high adsorption capacity. And at the room temperature, the saturated loading capacity for Pb^2＋, Cu^2＋ and Zn^2＋ reached 1.82 retool/g, 1.794 mmol/g and 0.964 retool/g, respectively. The results proved its potential application to remove of the heavy metal.

Chitin is an important content in the exoskeletons of arthropods, and its hydrolyzation is catalyzed by chitinases during the process of molting, thus, the chitinases are considered as ideal target to interfere the growth of arthropods. This study intends to clarify the characteristic of the chitinases during the development of Tetranychus cinnabarinus, and screen out important genes as potential control targets. The results showed that the total enzyme concentration of chitinases was significantly higher in larva, the first and second nymph than that in egg and adult. Base on the transcriptome data, six unigenes encoding chitinases were identified and their expression patterns in different developmental stages were detected. The expressions of TcCHIT1 and TcCHITIO showed high abundance during the molting process and their expression change during the developmental stages was consistent with the enzyme concentration. The full-length of these two genes were further cloned, and the structural characteristics of their proteins were analyzed by constructing the three-dimensional structure model. The results provide basic information to understand the characteristic of chitinases in T. cinnabarinus and might be considered as target for control.

In most eukaryotes,oxidative phosphorylation(OXPHOS)is the main energy production process and it involves both mitochondrial and nuclear *** close interaction between the two genomes is critical for the coordinated function of the OXPHOS *** bivalves show doubly uniparental inheritance(DUI)of mitochondria,where two highly divergent mitochondrial genomes,one inherited through eggs(F-type)and the other through sperm(M-type),coexist in the same ***,it remains a puzzle how nuclear OXPHOS genes coordinate with two divergent mitochondrial genomes in DUI *** this study,we compared transcription,polymorphism,and synonymous codon usage in the mitochondrial and nuclear OXPHOS genes of the DUI species Ruditapes philippinarum using sex-and tissue-specific *** and nuclear OXPHOS genes showed different transcription *** co-transcription signal was observed within mitochondrial(separate for F-and M-type)and within nuclear OXPHOS genes but the signal was weak or absent between mitochondrial and nuclear OXPHOS genes,suggesting that the coordination between mitochondrial and nuclear OXPHOS subunits is not achieved ***-Kreitman and frequency-spectrum based tests indicated that M-type OXPHOS genes deviated significantly from neutrality,and that F-type and M-type OXPHOS genes undergo different selection *** usage analysis revealed that mutation bias and translational selection were the major factors affecting the codon usage bias in different OXPHOS genes,nevertheless,translational selection in mitochondrial OXPHOS genes appears to be less efficient than nuclear OXPHOS ***,we speculate that the coordination between OXPHOS genes may involve post-transcriptional/translational regulation.
