Degree of bending of concrete-filled rectangular hollow section K-joints under balanced-axial loadings

It has been found that the fatigue life of tubular joints is not only determined by the hot spot stress,but also by the stress distribution through the tube thickness represented as the degree of bending(DoB).Consequently,the DoB value should be determined to improve the accuracy of fatigue assessment for both stress-life curve and fracture mechanics ***,no DoB parametric formula is available for concrete-filled rectangular hollow section(CFRHS)K-joints,despite their wide use in bridge ***,a robust finite element(FE)analysis was carried out to calculate the DoB of CFRHS K-joints under balanced-axial *** FE model was developed and verified against a test result to ensure accuracy.A comprehensive parametric study including 190 models,was conducted to establish the relationships between the DoBs and four specific *** on the numerical results,design equations to predict DoBs for CFRHS K-joints were proposed through multiple regression analysis.A reduction of 37.17%was discovered in the DoB,resulting in a decrease of 66.85%in the fatigue ***,the CFRHS K-joints with same hot spot stresses,may have completely different fatigue lives due to the different DoBs.

As an efficient tool in handling uncertain issues, Dempster-Shafer evidence theory has been increasingly used in structural health monitoring and damage detection. In applications, however, Dempster-Shafer evidence theory sometimes leads to counter-intuitive results. In this study, a new fusion algorithm of evidence theory is put forward to address various counter-intuitive problems and manage the reliability difference of the evidence. The proposed algorithm comprises the following aspects:(1) Dempster's combination rule is generalized by introducing the concept of evidence ullage. The new rule allows classical Dempster's rule and can resolve counter-intuitive problems cause by evidence conflict and evidence compatibility;(2) a reliability assessing method based on a priori and posterior knowledge is proposed. Compared with conventional reliability assessment, the proposed method can reflect the actual evidence reliabilities and can efficiently reduce decision risk. Numerical examples confirm the validity and utility of the proposed algorithm. In addition, an experimental investigation on a spatial truss structure is carried out to illustrate the identified ability of the proposed approach. The results indicate that the fusion algorithm has no strict request on the accuracy and consistency of evidence sources and can efficiently enhance diagnostic accuracy.

To enhance the DC electrical performance of cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE),the graftable antioxidant methacrylic acid 2-hydroxy-3-(4-anilinoanilino)propyl ester(GA),which contains carbonyl and amino groups,and the crosslinking coagent trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate(TMPTMA),which contains carbonyl groups,are individually or co-grafted onto *** slightly higher deep trap density introduced by higher grafting concentration of TMPTMA results in more significant suppression effect of conductance current and enhanced breakdown strength at a lower temperature,while the suppression effect for the conductance current at 90°C becomes weakened due to limited trap ***,the deeper energy level introduced by GA suppresses the conductance current and improves the electrical strength of XLPE at 90°C more *** co-grafting,the conductance current of XLPE in a wide range temperature can be significantly reduced,especially for the temperature dependence of conductance current,which is beneficial to suppress the field strength *** results of thermally stimulated current and molecular simulation show that the polar groups of two monomers introduce deep charge traps in *** co-grafting system ensures the rationality of the crosslinking reaction kinetics and does not affect the cable manufacturing.

This paper constructs coefficients of the integral and the internal structure upgrading in the secondary and tertiary industries, selects per capita real gross domestic product as a threshold variable and build panel threshold model according to inter-provincial panel data of China from 1998 to 2016. Results indicated that population aging has a double threshold effect on the integral industrial structure upgrading, whose influence increases first and then decreases, significantly promoting the upgrading process. As for internal structure, population aging has no significant threshold effect on the upgrading in the secondary industry, but exerts a single negative threshold effect in the tertiary industry. When economic development is under the threshold, its negative impact is greater. Further analysis also suggests that regional differences exist significantly in the threshold effect of population aging on the industrial structure upgrading.

Commercial biaxially oriented polypropylene(BOPP)film capacitors have been widely applied in the fields of electrical and electronic ***,due to the sharp increase in electrical conduction loss as the temperature rises,the energy storage performance of BOPP films seriously degrades at elevated *** this study,the grafting modification method is facile and suitable for large-scale industrial manufacturing and has been proposed to increase the high-temperature energy storage performance of com-mercial BOPP films for the first ***,acrylic acid(AA)as a polar organic molecular is used to graft onto the surface of commercial BOPP films by using ultraviolet irradiation(abbreviated as BOPP-AA).The results demonstrate that the AA grafting modification not only slightly increases the dielectric constant,but also significantly reduces the leakage current density at high-temperature,greatly improving the high-temperature energy storage *** modified BOPP-AA films display a discharged energy density of 1.32 J/cm3 with an efficiency of>90%at 370 kV/mm and 125℃℃,which is 474%higher than that of the pristine BOPP *** work manifests that utilizing ultraviolet grafting modification is a very efficient way to improve the high-temperature energy storage performance of commercial BOPP films as well as provides a hitherto unexplored opportunity for large-scalable production applications.

核心通货膨胀是观测到的通货膨胀中长期的、持续的成分。核心通货膨胀对经济形势的判断与宏观经济政策的制定有着重要的意义。本文中我们扩展了Quah和Vahey的两变量结构向量自回归(SVAR)模型,建立了包括消费价格指数、食品价格指数与产出的三变量SVAR模型,并且通过对变量施加基于经济理论的长期约束估计了1986-2007年中国的核心通货膨胀。结果显示,所估计的核心通货膨胀能够很好地反映通货膨胀的趋势性变化。最后得出结论:2007年中国的核心通货膨胀率略低于3%的警戒线水平,但是有快速上涨的趋势。
