Elevated CO_(2) increases soil redox potential by promoting root radial oxygen loss in paddy field

Soil redox potential(Eh)plays an important role in the biogeochemical cycling of soil *** its effect soil process and nutrients'availability under elevated atmospheric CO_(2) concentration and warming has seldom been ***,in this study,a field experiment was used to elucidate the effect of elevated CO_(2) concentration and warming on soil Eh,redox-sensitive elements and root radial oxygen loss(ROL).We hypothesized elevated CO_(2) and warming could alter soil Eh by promoting or inhibiting *** found that soil Eh in the rhizosphere was significantly higher than that of *** CO_(2) enhanced soil Eh by 11.5%,which corresponded to a significant decrease in soil Fe^(2+)and Mn^(2+)*** elevated CO_(2),the concentration of Fe^(2+)and Mn^(2+)decreased by 14.7%and 13.7%,*** also found that elevated CO_(2) altered rice root aerenchyma structure and promoted rice root *** elevated CO_(2),rice root ROL increased by 79.5%and 112.2%for Yangdao 6 and Changyou 5,*** had no effect on soil Eh and rice root *** warming increased the concentration of Mn^(2+)and SO_(4)^(2-)by 4.9%and 19.3%,*** was a significant interaction between elevated CO_(2) and warming on Fe^(2+)and Mn^(2+).Under elevated CO_(2),warming had no effect on the concentration of Fe^(2+)but decreased Mn^(2+)concentration *** study demonstrated that elevated atmospheric CO_(2) in the future could increase soil Eh by promoting rice root ROL,which will alter some soil nutrients'availability,such as Fe^(2+)and Mn^(2+).

Mechanism of action of cordycepin in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma via regulation of the Hippo signaling pathway

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the common most malignant *** study aimed to determine the in vitro and in vivo anticancer activity of cordycepin and elucidate its mechanism of *** results of in vitro and in vivo studies revealed that cordycepin inhibited proliferation and migration in HepG-2 cells and inhibited the growth of HepG-2 xenograft-bearing nude mice by inducing *** sequencing analysis revealed a total of 403 differential genes,which revealed that cordycepin may play an anti-HCC role by regulating Hippo signaling *** regulatory effects of cordycepin on the Hippo signaling pathway was further investigated using a YAP1 *** results demonstrated that cordycepin upregulated the expression of MST1 and LAST1,and subsequently inhibited YAP1,which activated the Hippo signaling *** in turn downregulated the expression of GBP3 and ETV5,and subsequently inhibited cell proliferation and ***,YAP1 regulated the expression of Bax and Bcl-2,regulated the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway,and induced apoptosis by upregulating the expression of the caspase-3 *** summary,this study reveals that cordycepin exerts its anti-hepatocarcinoma effect through regulating Hippo signaling pathway,and GBP3 and ETV5 may be potential therapeutic targets for hepatocarcinoma.

Anti-explosion performance and dynamic response of an innovative multi-layer composite explosion containment vessel

An innovative multi-layer composite explosion containment vessel(CECV)utilizing a sliding steel platealuminum honeycomb-fiber cloth sandwich is put forward to improve the anti-explosion capacity of a conventional single-layer explosion containment vessel(SECV).Firstly,a series of experiments and finite element(FE)simulations of internal explosions are implemented to understand the basic anti-explosion characteristics of a SECV and the rationality of the computational models and methods is verified by the comparison between the experimental results and simulation *** on this,the CECV is designed in detail and a variety of FE simulations are carried out to investigate effects of the sandwich structure,the explosive quantity and the laying mode of the fiber cloth on anti-explosion performance and dynamic response of the CECV under internal *** results indicate that the end cover is the critical position for both the SECV and *** maximum pressure of the explosion shock wave and the maximum strain of the CECV can be extremely declined compared to those of the *** a result,the explosive quantity the CECV can sustain is up to 20 times of that the SECV can ***,as the explosive quantity increases,the internal pressure of the CECV keeps growing and the plastic deformation and failure of the sandwich structure become more and more severe,yielding plastic strain of the CECV in addition to elastic *** results also reveal that the laying angles of the fiber cloth's five layers have an impact on the anti-explosion performance of the *** example,the CECV with fiber cloth layered in 0°/45°/90°/45°/0°mode has the optimal anti-capacity,compared to 0°/0°/0°/0°/0°and 0°/30°/60°/30°/0°***,owing to remarkable anti-explosion capacity,this CECV can be regarded as a promising candidate for explosion resistance.

AP assembled on ultrafine aluminum particle and its application to NEPE propellant

Coating modification is an important way to enhance the reactivity of aluminum *** this paper,ammonium perchlorate and aluminum powder were assembled into energetic microunits by liquid deposition *** particles with AP as shell and ultrafine aluminum powder as the core(Al@AP)were *** micromorphology results show that the coated particles are about 5μm,and the coating layer is evenly distributed on the outer surface of aluminum powder,indicating a complete *** energetic microunits were implanted into the nitrate ester plasticizing adhesive system(NEPE)as solid phase *** effect of filler on the rheological properties,safety,mechanical properties,thermal reaction and energy properties of the system was analyzed by comparing with the raw aluminum *** test results show that the rheological properties,mechanical properties and pressure index of NEPE containing system Al@AP meets the requirements of solid propellant *** with Al based propellant,the mechanical sensitivity and thermal sensitivity are decreased,the safety is better,and the explosion heat of the propellant is increased by 7.8%.The engine test shows that the specific impulse is increased by 1.2 ***@AP can improve the energy output and safety of NEPE propellant,and has potential application prospects in high-energy propellants.

Water vapor nucleation on particle's surface plays an important role in dust removal,cloud formation,and particle ***,the selectivity of nucleation sites and the nucleation characteristic of water molecule on the particle's surface are still unclear,especially for the aggregated *** this paper,the effects of particle wettability and aggregation modes on the selectivity of nucleation sites and the nucleation characteristics were investigated using molecular dynamics *** results were compared with our earlier experimental *** illustrates how the contact angle of clusters,the growth velocity,and the growth duration are all influenced by the interaction coefficient between water and ***,the nucleation sites of water molecules on the particle aggregation surface exhibit a definite *** primary indicator of this selectivity is the preferential nucleation of water molecules at the interfaces of linear chain aggregation particles,at the inner side of non-linear chain aggregation particles,and at the centers of ring *** results are in good agreement with our previous experimental *** significantly,additional research has revealed that subcritical-size clusters typically aggregate on two-particle surfaces spacing when the spacing smaller than the critical cluster size.

Enhanced Photocatalytic Activity of Z-scheme Meso-BiVO_(4)-Au-CdS for Degradation of Rhodamine B

We synthesized BiVO_(4)mesocrystals with ordered assembly structure,and studied the structural order and the relationship between the photodegradation of Rhodamine *** nanoparticles(NPs)were successfully loaded onto Meso-BiVO_(4)by light-assisted induction,and Cd nanoparticles were further selected to be deposited on Au nanoparticles to form Z-scheme photocatalyst Meso-BiVO_(4)-Au-CdS *** try and propose to analyze its ordered assembly structure by XRD for the first *** results show that Meso-BiVO_(4)is a mesocrystal with highly exposed(001)plane and directional assembly *** charge separation efficiency of all samples was studied by PL *** results show that the Z-scheme Meso-BiVO_(4)-Au-CdS can promote the charge separation and obtain the best carrier separation ***,it has the best photocatalytic activity in the experiment of photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine *** main active species in the degradation process were confirmed by free radical trapping experiment,and the degradation mechanism was put forward.

Biocatalytic enhancement of laccase immobilized on ZnFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles and its application for degradation of textile dyes

Efficient and convenient treatment of industrial dyeing wastewater is of great significance to guarantee human and animal *** work presented the enhanced catalytic activity at pH 3.0 of laccase immobilized on amino-functionalized ZnFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles(ZnFe_(2)O_(4)-laccase)and its application for the degradation of textile *** to the existence of a large number of oxygen vacancies on the surface of the ZnFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles,negative ions accumulated on the magnetic carriers,which resulted in a harsh optimal pH value of the ZnFe_(2)O_(4)-*** activity assays revealed that the ZnFe_(2)O_(4)-laccase possessed superior pH and thermal stabilities,excellent reusability,and noticeable organic solvent ***,the ZnFe_(2)O_(4) laccase presented efficient and sustainable degradation of high concentrations of textile *** initial decoloration efficiencies of malachite green(MG),brilliant green(BG),azophloxine,crystal violet(CV),reactive blue 19(RB19),and procion red MX-5B were approximately 99.1%,95.0%,93.3%,87.4%,86.1%,and 85.3%,*** 10 consecutive reuses,the degradation rates of the textile dyes still maintained about 98.2%,92.5%,83.2%,81.5%,79.8%and 65.9%,*** excellent dye degradation properties indicate that the ZnFe_(2)O_(4)-laccase has a technical application in high concentrations of dyestuff treatment.

Oscillation detection has been a hot research topic in industries due to the high incidence of oscillation loops and their negative impact on plant *** numerous automatic detection techniques have been proposed,most of them can only address part of the practical *** oscillation is heuristically defined as a visually apparent periodic ***,manual visual inspection is labor-intensive and prone to missed *** neural networks(CNNs),inspired by animal visual systems,have been raised with powerful feature extraction *** this work,an exploration of the typical CNN models for visual oscillation detection is ***,we tested MobileNet-V1,ShuffleNet-V2,Efficient Net-B0,and GhostNet models,and found that such a visual framework is well-suited for oscillation *** feasibility and validity of this framework are verified utilizing extensive numerical and industrial *** with state-of-theart oscillation detectors,the suggested framework is more straightforward and more robust to noise and *** addition,this framework generalizes well and is capable of handling features that are not present in the training data,such as multiple oscillations and outliers.

Analytical solutions of turbulent boundary layer beneath forward-leaning waves

As a typical nonlinear wave,forward-leaning waves can be frequently encountered in the near-shore areas,which can impact coastal sediment transport ***,it is of significance to describe the characteristics of the boundary layer beneath forward-leaning waves accurately,especially for the turbulent boundary *** this work,the linearized turbulent boundary layer model with a linear turbulent viscosity coefficient is applied,and the novel expression of the near-bed orbital velocity that has been worked out by the authors for forward-leaning waves of arbitrary forward-leaning degrees is further used to specify the free stream boundary condition of the bottom boundary ***,a variable transformation is found so as to make the equation of the turbulent boundary layer model be solved analytically through a modified Bessel ***,an explicit analytical solution of the turbulent boundary layer beneath forward-leaning waves is derived by means of variable separation and variable *** analytical solutions of the velocity profile and bottom shear stress of the turbulent boundary layer beneath forward-leaning waves are verified by comparing the present analytical results with typical experimental data available in the previous literature.

Asymmetric copolyimide membranes fabricated by nonsolvent-induced phase separation for He/CH_(4) and He/N_(2) separation

Membrane gas separation is considered an energy-saving technique to extract He from natural gas due to no phase change and room temperature ***,the membrane performance was strongly limited by the trade-off between permeance and ***,novel 4,4′-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride(6FDA)-2,2′-bis(3-amino-4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane(APAF)-5-amino-2-(4-aminobenzene)benzimidazole(BIA)asymmetric membranes with a thickness of 300 nm were successfully prepared by the non-solvent induced phase separation *** membrane performance was modulated by regulating dope solution compositions(e.g.,tetrahydrofuran and polymer concentration).The ideal He/CH_(4) selectivity was 124 and the optimized He permeance reached 87 GPU,beyond the current upper ***/CH_(4) selectivity was 75 and He permeance was 73 GPU for the binary mixture feed containing 0.2 mol%*** membrane showed good resistance to CO_(2) and C_(2)H_(6),which are the typical impurities in natural *** 6FDA-APAF-BIA membranes have good stability(>160 h),which can provide great potential in He extraction from natural gas.
