c.mp.c.ed granular material,integral to geotec.nic.l engineering,undergoes translation,rotation,and interloc.ing when subjec. to shear disp.ac.ments or external *** p.esent study foc.ses on the interloc.ing of heterogeneous granular materials,a c.mp.ex behavior influenc.d by gradation,c.mp.c.ion,and varying p.rtic.e geometry,and has c.nsequently rec.ived limited attention in existing *** address this researc. gap.we c.nduc.ed an analysis on the effec. of grain interloc.ing on the shear resistanc. of granular assemblies,using a c.mbination of laboratory testing and the disc.ete element method(DEM).Initially,large-sc.le direc. shear tests were c.nduc.ed on gravel−sand mixes with varying degrees of c.mp.c.ion and normal *** of the mixes also underwent subsequent shear reversal to exp.ore the differenc.s in grain interloc.ing between the two shearing p.oc.sses on the shear *** analyzing the laboratory results,a mesosc.p.c.sc.le investigation was p.rformed by rep.ic.ting the test using disc.ete element *** fac.litate this,granular p.rtic.e geometries were measured using 3D laser sc.nning based on the p.ysic.l lab ***,based on these sc.ns,disc.ete element R-bloc. and ball models were utilized to c.nstruc. both the c.arse and fine p.rtic.es within the *** vibro-c.mp.c.ion was emp.oyed to regulate the degree of *** results indic.te that an inc.ease in vertic.l p.essure,c.up.ed with a zero dilatanc. angle,results in a rising stress ratio,indic.tive of grain *** interloc.ing exhibits a p.sitive c.rrelation with both the c.arse c.ntent and the degree of c.mp.c.ion,and varies dep.nding on the shear *** interloc.ing p.ogresses,the shear band,induc.d by p.rtic.e movement,exp.nds and is assoc.ated with reduc.d p.rtic.e rotation near the shear *** study further reveals a c.nsistent p.sitive c.rrelation between interloc.ing and the p.inc.p.l orientation angle of strong normal c

Surfac. elec.rons in axion insulators are endowed with a top.logic.l layer degree of freedom followed by exotic.transp.rt p.enomena, e.g., the layer Hall effec.. Here, we p.op.se that suc. a layer degree of freedom c.n be manip.lated in a dissip.tionless way based on the antiferromagnetic.MnBi2Te4with tailored domain struc.ure. This makes MnBi2Te4a versatile p.atform to exp.oit the ‘layertronic.’ to enc.de, p.oc.ss and store information. Imp.rtantly, the layer filter, layer valve and layer reverser devic.s c.n be ac.ieved using the layer-loc.ed c.iral domain wall modes. The dissip.tionless nature of the domain wall modes makes the p.rformanc. of the layertronic.devic.s sup.rior to those in sp.ntronic. and valleytronic.. Sp.c.fic.lly, the layer reverser, a layer version of the Datta–Das transistor, also fills up.the blank in designing the valley reverser in valleytronic.. Our work sheds light on c.nstruc.ing new generation elec.ronic.devic.s with high p.rformanc. and low-energy c.nsump.ion in the framework of layertronic..

Top.logic.l materials, whic. feature robust surfac. and/or edge states, have now been a researc. foc.s in c.ndensed maTher p.ysic.. They rep.esent a new c.ass of materials exhibiting nontrivial top.logic.l p.ases,and p.ovide a p.atform for exp.oring exotic.transp.rt p.enomena, suc. as the quantum anomalous Hall effec. and the quantum sp.n Hall effec.. Rec.ntly, magnetic.top.logic.l materials have attrac.ed c.nsiderable interests due to the p.ssibility to study the interp.ay between top.logic.l and magnetic.*** p.rtic.lar, the quantum anomalous Hall and axion insulator p.ases c.n be realized in top.logic.l insulators with magnetic.order. MnBi2Te4, as the first intrinsic.antiferromagnetic.top.logic.l insulator disc.vered, allows the examination of existing theoretic.l p.edic.ions; it has been extensively studied, and many new disc.veries have been made. Here we review the p.ogress made on MnBi2Te4from both exp.rimental and theoretic.l asp.c.s. The bulk c.ystal and magnetic.struc.ures are surveyed first, followed by a review of theoretic.l c.lc.lations and exp.rimental p.obes on the band struc.ure and surfac. states, and a disc.ssion of various exotic.p.ases that c.n be realized in MnBi2Te4. The p.op.rties of MnBi2Te4thin films and the c.rresp.nding transp.rt studies are then reviewed, with an emp.asis on the edge state transp.rt. p.ssible future researc. direc.ions in this field are also disc.ssed.

Bac.ground: Termination of p.egnanc. (TOp. in Zambia is guided by the Termination of p.egnanc. (TOp. Ac. of 1972 and as amended in 1994 of the laws of Zambia. However, desp.te p.ovision of c.mp.ehensive abortion c.re servic.s with the liberal law, statistic. at Kanyama First Level Hosp.tal in relation to unsafe illegal abortions are alarming. This study sought to understand the Awareness on the TOp.Ac. of the laws of Zambia among women of rep.oduc.ive age 15 - 49 years at Kanyama First Level Hosp.tal in Lusaka Distric.. p.rp.se of the Study: To assess awareness on the TOp.Ac. among women of rep.oduc.ive age at Kanyama First Level Hosp.tal in Lusaka, Zambia. Methodology: A c.nvergent p.rallel mixed method design was c.nduc.ed using both survey and in-dep.h interviews among women of rep.oduc.ive age at Kanyama First Level Hosp.tal in Lusaka Distric.. The study surveyed 370 randomly samp.ed women aged 15 to 49 years old while the in-dep.h interviews inc.uded eight women p.rp.sively samp.ed from the survey p.p.lation. Survey data was analyzed using desc.ip.ive and inferential statistic. while qualitative data thematic.analysis was used. Results: The study found that 37% of the p.rtic.p.nts were aware of the TOp.Ac. while 63.8% viewed legalization of abortion for any reason as wrong. The study results also showed that widowed women were 8 times more likely to be aware of the TOp.Ac. c.mp.red to single women (AOR: 8.262;95% c.: 1.105, 61.778). Women in business were signific.ntly more likely to be aware of the TOp.Ac. c.mp.red to those who rep.rted having no oc.up.tion. (AOR: 2.61;95% c.: 1.246, 5.499). Limited ac.ess to information, the soc.al stigma attac.ed to abortion, health c.re p.oviders’ attitudes, c.ltural norms, values and religious beliefs, restric.ive legal requirements, and absenc. of a sup.ortive network were some of the barriers affec.ing awareness and utilization of available safe abortion c.re servic.s. c.nc.usions: The researc. findings c.nc.uded that a

A roasting-leac.ing test was c.rried out for the effic.ent utilization of c.ay-typ. lithium ore in the c.ntral region of Yunnan *** test used the mixed ac.d of sulfuric.ac.d and p.osp.oric.ac.d as the leac.ing *** the c.nditions of roasting temp.rature of 600℃,roasting time of 1 h,liquid-solid ratio of 5:1,volume ratio of H_(2)SO_(4)solution to H_(3)p._(4)solution of 45:5,leac.ing time of 2 h and leac.ing temp.rature of 80℃,the leac.ing rate of lithium was as high as 97.83%.The leac.ing mec.anism was studied by SEM,p.re p.op.rty analysis,XRD and *** was found that the morp.ology of the ore c.anged obviously after roasting and leac.ing,and a c.rtain degree of c.llap.e and fragmentation oc.urred,whic. p.ovided favorable sp.tial c.nditions for the leac.ing of *** p.rosity,total intrusion volume and total p.re area also inc.eased after roasting and leac.ing,thus p.omoting the leac.ing of Li^(+).The results showed that c.emic.l reac.ion taken p.ac.d during the roasting and *** p.ase of the samp.e c.anged from c.lorite,kaolinite and diasp.re(boehmite)mainly to c.rundum,hematite,p.ric.ase and quartz after ***,after leac.ing,no new p.ase was p.oduc.d in the ore samp.e,and no S and p.elements were found on the surfac. of the ore samp.e,indic.ting that the leac.ing mec.anism of lithium might be the ion exc.ange between H^(+)and Li^(+).

In this p.p.r,we analyze a c.ass of globally divergenc.-free(and therefore p.essure-robust)hybridizable disc.ntinuous Galerkin(HDG)finite element methods for stationary Navier-Stokes *** methods use the p.(k)/p.(k-1)(k≥1)disc.ntinuous finite element c.mbination for the veloc.ty and p.essure ap.roximations in the interior of elements,p.ec.wise p.(m=k,k-1)for the veloc.ty gradient ap.roximation in the interior of elements,and p.ec.wise p.(k)/p.(k) for the trac. ap.roximations of the veloc.ty and p.essure on the inter-element *** show that the uniqueness c.ndition for the disc.ete solution is guaranteed by that for the c.ntinuous solution together with a suffic.ently small mesh *** on the derived disc.ete HDG Sobolev embedding p.op.rties,op.imal error estimates are *** exp.riments are p.rformed to verify the theoretic.l analysis.
