Temperature regulating fibers(TRF_(s)) with high enthalpy and high form stability are the key factors for thermal management. However, the enthalpies of most TRFsare not high, and the preparation methods are still at the laboratory scale. It remains a great challenge to use industrial spinning equipment to achieve continuous processing of TRF_(s) with excellent thermal and mechanical properties. Here, polyamide 6(PA6) based TRF_(s) with a sheath-core structure were prepared by bicomponent melt-spinning. The sheath-core TRF(TRF_(sc)) are composed of PA6 as sheath and functional PA6 as core, which are filled with the shape stable phase change materials(ssPCM),dendritic silica@polyethylene glycol(SiO_(2)@PEG). With the aid of the sheath structure, the filling content of SiO_(2)@PEG can reach 30 %, so that the enthalpy of the TRF_(s) can be as high as 21.3 J/g. The ultra-high enthalpy guarantees the temperature regulation ability during the alternating process of cooling and heating. In hot environment, the temperature regulation time is 6.59 min, and the temperature difference is 12.93℃. In addition, the mechanical strength of the prepared TRF_(sc) reaches 2.26 cN/dtex, which can fully meet its application in the field of thermal management textiles and devices to manage the temperature regulation of the human body or precision equipment, etc.

Enhancing oxidation resistance of multicomponent carbides above 2000℃is critical for their thermal protection *** this purpose,novel Nb-and Ta-doped(Hf,Zr,Ti)C multicomponent carbides were designed to improve their oxidation resistance at 2500℃.The results demonstrated that Nb and Ta doping reduced the oxidation rate constant by 16.67%and 25.17%,respectively,thereby significantly improving the oxidation resistance of(Hf,Zr,Ti)*** enhancement was attributed to the changes in oxycarbide composition and distribution within the oxide layer by adding Nb and *** to the different oxidation tendencies of the constituent elements,a distinctive structure was formed in which(Hf,Zr)O_(2)served as a skeleton,and various oxycarbides were dispersed throughout the oxide *** doped Nb and Ta were retained within oxycarbides,retarding the diffusion of oxygen into the *** importantly,the addition of Nb and Ta reduced the size of oxycarbides,decreasing both size and quantity of the pores in the oxide layer and facilitating the formation of a more effective oxygen barrier.

The separator plays an important part in battery safety and *** separators are widely used in commercial Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),owing to their excellent properties,but they suffer from serious thermal shrinkage and poor electrolyte ***,a multilayer separator(ASPESA)is developed by coating two thin layers of low-density polyethylene(LDPE)and Al_(2)O_(3)on both sides of a polyethylene membrane using a facile and environmentally friendly casting *** ASPESA separator demonstrates a shutdown function at 120℃and shows enhanced thermal stability under 185℃,with a small thermal shrinkage of 1%.Meanwhile,the LDPE and Al_(2)O_(3)layers can improve the electrolyte wettability and electrolyte uptake(407.23%).The multilayer ASPESA separator delivers an excellent cycle performance in LiFePO_(4)||Li cells with a discharge capacity of 144.5 mAh g^(-1)after 900 cycles,with a high-capacity retention of 98.9%(compared to the 5th cycle).Therefore,the multilayer ASPESA separator has great utilization potential as a high-safety separator in LIBs.

Thermoplastic polycarbonate polyurethanes(PCUs) are multiblock copolymers that have been applied for medical devices for long time. Aliphatic diols are common chain extenders(CE) involved in the composition of the hard segments of PCU. However, limited knowledge was discovered about how the chemical structure of CE affects the hydrogen bonding organization within PCUs and their mechanical *** investigate this problem, a group of PCUs were synthesized respectively by extending the polymer chain with 1,4-butanediol(BDO),aminoethanol(MEA), ethanediol(EO) as three kinds of chain extenders. Tiny differences in the CE chemical structure results in remarkable variations in phase separation, condensed morphologies, thermal and mechanical properties, which are characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, atomic force microscopy, small-angle X-ray scattering, differential scanning calorimetry, and tensile tests. The microstructural evolution during unilateral deformation and the different mechanism induced by the different CEs was probed and unveil by in situ wide-and small-angle X-ray diffraction. Symmetry of CE can improve the organization of the hydrogen bonding. The coherence strength of the urethane/urea group also plays a key role by comparing the two PCUs with ethanediol and aminoethanol.

SwiftTheft: A Time-Efficient Model Extraction Attack Framework Against Cloud-Based Deep Neural Networks

With the rise of artificial intelligence and cloud computing, machine-learning-as-a-service platforms,such as Google, Amazon, and IBM, have emerged to provide sophisticated tasks for cloud applications. These proprietary models are vulnerable to model extraction attacks due to their commercial value. In this paper, we propose a time-efficient model extraction attack framework called Swift Theft that aims to steal the functionality of cloud-based deep neural network models. We distinguish Swift Theft from the existing works with a novel distribution estimation algorithm and reference model settings, finding the most informative query samples without querying the victim model. The selected query samples can be applied to various cloud models with a one-time selection. We evaluate our proposed method through extensive experiments on three victim models and six datasets, with up to 16 models for each dataset. Compared to the existing attacks, Swift Theft increases agreement(i.e., similarity) by 8% while consuming 98% less selecting time.

objective:Severe tricuspid regurgitation frequently leads to increased mortality and a poor *** edge-to-edge repair(TEER)for tricuspid valve regurgitation has been reported as a safe alternative to traditional open-heart *** study endeavors to assess the efficacy and safety of a newly designed Neoblazar TEER system in this high-risk ***:This investigation was structured as a prospective,single-arm,first-in-man trial in China(*** number:NCT05497141).From August 2022 to October 2022,patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation were enrolled from 3 centers(Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital,Fuwai Yunnan Cardiovascular Hospital,and Wuhan Union Hospital).The primary endpoint was achieving a minimum 1-grade reduction in tricuspid regurgitation at the 6-month post-TEER intervention,in addition to the pertinent New York Heart Association *** echocardiographic evaluations were conducted at the following distinct intervals:baseline,discharge,1 month,and 6 months post-TEER ***:A total of 10 patients were enrolled in the *** after the TEER procedure with the Neoblazar system,massive tricuspid regurgitation(grade 5+)at baseline decreased to moderate-severe tricuspid regurgitation(grade 3+)in 2 patients and the optimal tricuspid regurgitation reduction(severe tricuspid regurgitation(grade 4+)to mild tricuspid regurgitation(grade 1+)were achieved in 6 *** 6 months of follow-up,tricuspid regurgitation reduction was found to be durable in all enrolled patients,among whom at least 1 grade of tricuspid regurgitation reduction was sustained,even without ***,the New York Heart Association class among these subjects significantly improved,with the percentage of patients categorized as class I-ll increasing from 0/10 at baseline to 5/10 after 1 month(P=0.015)and 8/10 after 6 months(P<0.001).Conclusion:Tricuspid TEER with the newly designed Neoblazar system a

Space-borne gravitational wave(GW)detectors can detect the merger of massive black *** early warning and localization of GW events before merging can be used to inform electromagnetic telescopes and conduct multimessenger ***,this requires real-time data transmission and analysis *** geocentric orbit of the space-borne GW detector Tian Qin makes it possible to conduct real-time data *** this study,we develop a search and localization pipeline for massive black hole binaries(MBHBs)with Tian Qin under both regular and real-time data transmission *** demonstrate that,with real-time data transmission,MBHBs can be accurately localized on the *** the approaching merger,each analysis can be finished in only 40 *** an MBHB system at a distance of 1 Gpc,if we receive data every hour,then we can pinpoint its location to within less than 1 deg^(2)on the final day before the merger.
