Background This study aimed to identify survival risk factors in Chinese children with hepatoblastoma(HB)and assess the effectiveness of the new treatment protocol proposed by the Chinese Children's Cancer Group(CCCG)in *** A multicenter,prospective study that included 399 patients with HB from January 2015 to June 2020 was *** demographics,treatment protocols,and other related information were *** regression models and Kaplan-Meier curve methods were *** The 4-year event-free survival(EFS)and overall survival(OS)were 76.9 and 93.5%,*** 4-year EFS rates for the very-low-risk,low-risk,intermediate-risk,and high-risk groups were 100%,91.6%,81.7%,and 51.0%,*** 4-year 0S was 100%,97.3%,94.4%,and 86.8%,*** regression analysis found that age,tumor rupture(R+),and extrahepatic tumor extension(E+)were independent prognostic factors.A total of 299 patients had complete remission,and 19 *** with declining alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)>75%after the first two cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy had a better EFS and OS than those≤75%.Conclusions The survival outcome of HB children has dramatically improved since the implementation of CCCG-HB-2016 ***≥8 years,R+,and E+were independent risk factors for *** with a declining AFP>75%after the first two cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy had better EFS and OS.

BACKGROUND The efficacy of Vonoprazan-amoxicillin dual therapy(VAT)in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori(***)is *** To evaluate the efficacy of VAT in the Chinese *** This prospective,multicenter,randomized,open-label,and two-stage study was conducted at 23 centers in Fujian,China(May 2021-April 2022).***-infected patients were randomized to bismuth quadruple therapy(BQT),BQT-Vonoprazan(BQT-V),seven-day VAT(VAT-7),ten-day VAT(VAT-10),and fourteen-day VAT(VAT-14)*** primary endpoint was the *** eradication *** secondary endpoint was the frequency of adverse *** study was registered with the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry,*** In the first stage,VAT-7 and BQT-V groups were selected for early termination because less than 23 among 28 cases were *** the second stage,the eradication rates for BQT,VAT-10,and VA-14 were 80.2%[95%confidence interval(95%CI):71.4%-86.8%],93.2%(86.6%-96.7%),92.2%(85.3%-96.0%)in the intention-to-treat(ITT)analysis,and 80.9%(95%CI:71.7%-87.5%),94.0%(87.5%-97.2%),and 93.9%(87.4%-97.2%)in the per-protocol *** ITT analysis showed a higher eradication rate in the VAT-10 and VAT-14 groups than in the BQT group(P=0.022 and P=0.046,respectively).The incidence of adverse events in the VAT-10 and VAT-14 groups was lower than in the BQT group(25.27%and 13.73%vs 37.62%,respectively;P<0.001).CONCLUSION VAT with a duration of 10 or 14 days achieves a higher eradication rate than the BQT,with a more tolerable safety profile in ***-infected patients in *** XP et *** for *** eradication.

Neutron-sensitive microchannel plates(nMCPs)have applications in neutron detection,including energy spectrum measurements,neutron-induced cross sections,and neutron imaging.10B-doped MCPs(B-MCPs)have attracted significant attention owing to their potential for exhibiting a high neutron detection efficiency over a large neutron energy *** spatial and temporal resolutions are useful for neutron energy-resolved ***,their practical applications still face many technical *** this study,a B-MCP with 10 mol%10B was tested for its response to wide-energy neutrons from eV to MeV at the Back-n white neutron source at the China Spallation Neutron *** neutron detection efficiency was calibrated at 1 eV,which is approximately 300 times that of an ordinary MCP and indicates the success of 10 B *** factors that caused the reduction in the detection efficiency were simulated and *** neutron energy spectrum obtained using B-MCP was compared with that obtained by other measurement methods,and showed very good consistency for neutron energies below tens of *** response is more complicated at higher neutron energy,at which point the elastic and nonelastic reactions of all nuclides of B-MCP gradually become *** is beneficial for the detection of neutrons,as it compensates for the detection efficiency of B-MCP for high-energy neutrons.

Neutron resonance imaging(NRI)has recently emerged as an appealing technique for neutron *** complexity surpasses that of conventional transmission imaging,as it requires a high demand for both a neutron source and ***,the progression of NRI technology has been sluggish since its inception in the 1980s,particularly considering the limited studies analyzing the neutron energy range above *** white neutron source(Back-n)at the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)provides favorable beam conditions for the development of the NRI technique over a wide neutron energy range from eV to ***-sensitive microchannel plates(MCP)have emerged as a cutting-edge tool in the field of neutron detection owing to their high temporal and spatial resolutions,high detection efficiency,and low *** this study,we report the development of a 10B-doped MCP detector,along with its associated electronics,data processing system,and NRI experiments at the *** heavy elements such as gold,silver,tungsten,and indium can be easily identified in the transmission images by their characteristic resonance peaks in the 1–100 eV energy range;the more difficult medium-weight elements such as iron,copper,and aluminum with resonance peaks in the 1–100 keV energy range can also be *** particular,results in the neutron energy range of dozens of keV(Aluminum)are reported here for the first time.

Realtime trigger and localization of bursts are the key functions of geCAM,an all-sky gamma-ray monitor launched on 2020 December *** developed a multifunctional trigger and localization software operating in the CPU of the geCAM Electronic *** onboard software has the following features:high trigger efficiency for real celestial bursts with a suppression of false triggers caused by charged particle bursts and background fluctuation,dedicated localization algorithm optimized for both short and long bursts,and low time latency of the trigger information which is downlinked through the Global Short Message Communication service of the global BeiDou navigation *** paper provides a detailed description of the design and development of the trigger and localization software system for *** covers the general design,workflow,the main functions,and the algorithms used in the *** paper also includes on-ground trigger tests using simulated gamma-ray bursts generated by a dedicated X-ray tube,as well as an overview of the performance for real celestial bursts during its in-orbit operation.

We study the above-threshold ionization(ATI)process of atoms exposed to fundamental and high-frequency lasers with arbitrary ellipticity by applying the frequency-domain *** is found that the angular-resolved ATI spectrum is sensitive to ellipticities of two lasers and emitted angles of the *** for the photon energy of the highfrequency laser more than atomic ionization potential,the width of plateau tends to a constant with increasing ellipticity of fundamental field,the dip structure disappears with increasing ellipticity of the high-frequency *** the help of the quantum channel analysis,it is shown that the angular distribution depends mainly on the ellipticity of high-frequency field in the case that its frequency is ***,one can see that the maximal and minimal energies in quantum numerical results are in good agreement with the classical *** investigation may provide theoretical support for experimental research on polarization control of ionization in elliptically polarized two-color laser fields.

We operated a p-type point contact high purity germanium(PPCge)detector(CDEX-1B,1.008 kg)in the China Jinping Underground Laboratory(CJPL)for 500.3 days to search for neutrinoless double beta(0νββ)decay of^(76)ge.A total of 504.3 kg⋅day effective exposure data was *** anti-coincidence and the multi/single-site event(MSE/SSE)discrimination methods were used to suppress the background in the energy region of interest(ROI,1989–2089 keV for this work)with a factor of 23.A background level of 0.33 counts/(keV⋅kg⋅yr)was *** lower limit on the half life of^(76)ge 0νββdecay was constrained as T_(1/2)^(0ν)>1.0×10^(23)yr(90%C.L.),corresponding to the upper limits on the effective Majorana neutrino mass:<3.2–7.5 eV.
