Functional hollow ceramic microspheres plated with Co-Fe were obtained through electroless plating technique for the application of lightweight microwave *** were treated at different temperatures by vacuum annealing *** surface-coated hollow microspheres were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD).The microwave electromagnetic loss and absorbing properties of hollow microspheres plated with Co-Fe were tested by network vector *** magnetic properties were tested by vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM).The results show that the annealing treatment changed the crystal phase of Co from HCP to FCC,simultaneously increased the crystallinity and crystal size of Co and Fe in coating ***,after annealing at 800℃or 1 000℃,the microwave absorbing properties and soft magnetic properties of hollow microspheres plated with Co-Fe were further improved.

Low-cost Fe-based disordered rock salt（DRX） li2FeTiO4is capable of providing high capacity(295 mA h g-1) by redox activity of cations(Fe2+/Fe4+and Ti3+/Ti4+) and anionic ***,DRX structures lack transport channels for ions and electrons,resulting in sluggish kinetics,poor electrochemical activity,and ***,graphene conductive carbon network permeated li2FeTiO4（LFT/C/G） nanofibers are successfully prepared by a facile sol-gel assisted electrospinning *** li2FeTiO4nanoparticles（2 nm） and one-dimensional（1D） structure provide abu ndant active sites and unobstructed diffu sion channels,accelerating ion *** addition,introducing graphene reduces the band gap and li+diffusion barrier and improves the dynamic properties of li2FeTiO4,thus achieving a relatively mild interfacial reaction and reversible redox *** expected,the LFT/C/1.0G cathode delivers a remarkable discharge capacity(238.5 mA h g-1),high energy density(508.8 Wh kg-1),and excellent rate capability(51.2 mA hg-1at 1.0 A g-1).Besides,the LFT/C/1.0G anode also displays a high capacity(514.5 mA h g-1at 500 mA g-1) and a remarkable rate capability(243.9 mA h g-1at 8 A g-1).Moreover,the full batteries based on the LFT/C/1.0G symmetric electrode demonstrate a reversible capacity of 117.0 mA h g-1after 100 cycles at 50 mA *** study presents useful insights into developing cost-effective DRX cathodes with durable and fast lithium storage.

The microstructure evolution and bainitic transformation of an Fe-0.19C-4.03Mn-1.48Si steel subjected to near-M_(s)austempering treatment were systematically investigated by combining dilatometer,X-ray diffraction,and electron *** additional austempering treatments with isothermal temperatures above M_(s)were used as *** show that the incubation period for the bainitic transformation occurs when the medium Mn steel is treated with the austempering temperature above M_(s).However,when subjected to near-M_(s)isothermal treatment,the medium Mn steel does not show an incubation period and has the fastest bainitic transformation ***,the largest volume fraction of bainite with a value of 74.7%is obtained on the condition of near-M_(s)austempering treatment after cooling to room *** and microstructure evolution analysis indicates that the elimination of the incubation period and the fastest rate of bainitic transformation are related to the preformed *** advent of preformed martensite allows the specimen to generate more bainite in a limited *** bainitic ferrite nucleation at austenite grain boundaries and through autocatalysis at ferrite/austenite interfaces,a model is established to understand the kinetics of bainite formation and it can describe the nucleation rate of bainitic transformation well when compared to the experimental results.

Bulk modulus is an important mechanical property in the optimal design and selection of intermetallic *** this study,bulk modulus datasets of intermetallic compounds were collected,and the features affecting the bulk modulus of intermetallics were screened via feature *** features B_(cal),dB_(avg),and TIE(corresponding to calculated bulk modulus,mean bulk modulus,and third ionization energy,respectively)were found to be the dominant factors influencing bulk modulus and can be extended to other multi-component ***,we predicted the bulk modulus with an accuracy of 95%using surrogate machine learning models with the selected features,and these features were also demonstrated to be effective for high-entropy ***,symbolic regression provided an expression for the relationship between bulk modulus and the screened *** machine learning models provide a new approach for optimizing and predicting the bulk moduli of intermetallic compounds.

This paper introduces a method for modeling the entire aggregated electric vehicle(EV)charging process and analyzing its dispatchable *** methodology involves developing a model for aggregated EV charging at the charging station level,estimating its physical dispatchable capability,determining its economic dispatchable capability under economic incentives,modeling its participation in the grid,and investigating the effects of different scenarios and EV penetration on the aggregated load dispatch and dispatchable *** results indicate that using economic dispatchable capability reduces charging prices by 9.7%compared to physical dispatchable capability and 9.3%compared to disorderly ***,the peak-to-valley difference is reduced by 64.6%when applying economic dispatchable capability with 20%EV penetration and residential base load,compared to disorderly charging.

Intrinsic stretchability is a promising attribute of polymer organic solar cells (OSCs). However, rigid molecular blocks typically exhibit poor tensile properties, rendering polymers vulnerable to mechanical stress. In this study, we introduce a different approach utilizing all-small-molecule donors and acceptors to fabricate stretchable OSCs. An elastomer, styrene-b-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS), was embedded to modulate film crystallization and stretchability. SEBS effectively confines the growth process of donors and acceptors, leading to enhancement of the crystallization quality, thus contributing to enhanced device efficiencies. Meanwhile, SEBS can absorb and release mechanical stress during stretching, thereby preventing mechanical degradation of donors and acceptors. The mechanical properties of the OSCs were significantly improved by the incorporation of SEBS. Notably, the crack-onset strain increased from 1.03% to 5.99% with SEBS embedding. These findings present a straightforward strategy for achieving stretchable OSCs using all small molecules, offering a different perspective for realizing stretchable devices.

The growth of dendrites and the side reactions occurring at the Zn anode pose significant challenges to the commercialization of aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs). These challenges arise from the inherent conflict between mass transfer and electrochemical kinetics. In this study, we propose the use of a multifunctional electrolyte additive based on the xylose(Xylo) molecule to address these issues by modulating the solvation structure and electrode/electrolyte interface, thereby stabilizing the Zn anode. The introduction of the additive alters the solvation structure, creating steric hindrance that impedes charge transfer and then reduces electrochemical kinetics. Furthermore, in-situ analyses demonstrate that the reconstructed electrode/electrolyte interface facilitates stable and rapid Zn^(2+)ion migration and suppresses corrosion and hydrogen evolution reactions. As a result, symmetric cells incorporating the Xylo additive exhibit significantly enhanced reversibility during the Zn plating/stripping process, with an impressively long lifespan of up to 1986 h, compared to cells using pure ZnSO4electrolyte. When combined with a polyaniline cathode, the full cells demonstrate improved capacity and long-term cyclic stability. This work offers an effective direction for improving the stability of Zn anode via electrolyte design, as well as highperformance AZIBs.

In this paper,we investigate a decentralized diagnosis problem of a discrete-evnt system(DES) subject to unreliable sensors,where the sensor observations of local diagnosers may be non-deterministic as a result of possible *** studies on decentralized robust diagnosis can only deal with different types of sensor failures separately,e.g.,all sensors suffer from the same type of sensor failures such as intermittent sensor failures or permanent sensor ***,since sensors of different local diagnosers may face different external environments and have different internal characteristics,sensors corresponding to different local diagnosers may also have their own fault *** this paper,we propose a flexible framework of decentralized diagnosis for DES subject to unreliable sensors such that sensors of different local diagnosers are permitted to have different types of sensor *** this end,we extend the existing decentralized diagnosis framework to the case where there exist common sensors broadcasting their observations to all local *** apply linear temporal logic(LTL) to constrain infinite behaviors of private sensors of local diagnosers and common ***,a new notion of φ-codiagnosability is proposed as the necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a decentralized diagnoser that works correctly under sensors,satisfying LTL-based sensor ***,we provide an effective approach to verify the φ-codiagnosability.

Heterogeneous oxidation by gas-phase oxidants is an important chemical transformation pathway of secondary organic aerosol(SOA)and plays an important role in controlling the abundance,properties,as well as climate and health impacts of ***,our knowledge on this heterogeneous chemistry remains *** this study,the heterogeneous oxidation ofα-pinene ozonolysis SOA by hydroxyl(OH)radicals was investigated under both low and high relative humidity(RH)conditions,with an emphasis on the evolution of molecular composition of SOA and its RH *** is found that the heterogeneous oxidation of SOA at an OH exposure level equivalent to 12 hr of atmospheric aging leads to particle mass loss of 60%at 25%RH and 95%at 90%*** heterogeneous oxidation strongly changes the molecular composition of *** dimer-to-monomer signal ratios increase dramatically with rising OH exposure,in particular under high RH conditions,suggesting that aerosol water stimulates the reaction of monomers with OH radicals more than that of *** addition,the typical SOA tracer compounds such as pinic acid,pinonic acid,hydroxy pinonic acid and dimer esters(e.g.,C17H26O8 and C19H28O7)have lifetimes of several hours against heterogeneous OH oxidation under typical atmospheric conditions,which highlights the need for the consideration of their heterogeneous loss in the estimation of monoterpene SOA concentrations using tracer-based *** study sheds lights on the heterogeneous oxidation chemistry ofmonoterpene SOA andwould help to understand their evolution and impacts in the atmosphere.
