Cu-doped SnO_(2)/rGO nanocomposites for ultrasensitive H2S detection at low temperature

Hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S)detection remains a significant concern and the sensitivity,selectivity,and detection limit must be balanced at low ***,we utilized a facile solvothermal method to prepare Cu-doped SnO_(2)/rGO nanocomposites that have emerged as promising candidate materials for H_(2)S *** of the Cu-SnO_(2)/rGO was carried out to determine its surface morphology,chemical composition,and crystal *** optimal sensor response for 10 ppm H_(2)S was~1415.7 at 120℃,which was over 320 times higher than that seen for pristine SnO_(2)CQDs(R_(a)/R_(g)=4.4)at 280℃.Moreover,the sensor material exhibited excellent selectivity,a superior linear working range(R^(2)=0.991,1-150 ppm),a fast response time(31 s to 2 ppm),and ppb-level H_(2)S detection(R_(a)/R_(g)=1.26 to 50 ppb)at 120℃.In addition,the sensor maintained a high performance even at extremely high humidity(90%)and showed outstanding long-term *** superb H_(2)S sensing properties were attributed to catalytic sensitization by the Cu dopant and a synergistic effect of the Cu-SnO_(2)and rGO,which offered abundant active sites for O_(2)and H_(2)S absorption and accelerated the transfer of electrons/holes.

Amorphous carbon materials hold great potential for practical use in potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)due to their abundant resources,low cost and high structural ***,given the challenge of sluggish potassiation kinetics,the rate performance of amorphous carbon is severely ***,amorphous carbon compounded with graphitic domains(HG-CNTs)was proposed as an advanced anode for *** directly verified by in situ transmission electron microscopy(TEM),the graphitic domains guarantee fast K-ions transport in the carbon composite at a high current density,while the amorphous carbon shells ensure the structural integrity during potassiation,thus boosting its fast and durable K^(+)*** a PlB anode,the HG-CNTs electrode exhibits not only a super-stable long-term cyclability(191.6 mAh g^(-1)at 1 A g^(-1)with almost no capacity decay over 3000 cycles),but also an outstanding rate performance(184.5 mAh g^(-1)at 2 A g^(-1)).Ex situ Raman and TEM results further suggest that the highly reversible structure of HG-CNTs is responsible for its superior electrochemical *** work provides helpful insights into the development of carbonaceous electrodes with both high rate capability and long cycle life for PIBs.

Silicon(Si)-based solid-state batteries(Si-SSBs)are attracting tremendous attention because of their high energy density and unprecedented safety,making them become promising candidates for next-generation energy storage ***,the commercialization of Si-SSBs is significantly impeded by enormous challenges including large volume variation,severe interfacial problems,elusive fundamental mechanisms,and unsatisfied electrochemical ***,some unknown electrochemical processes in Si-based anode,solid-state electrolytes(SSEs),and Si-based anode/SSE interfaces are still needed to be explored,while an in-depth understanding of solid–solid interfacial chemistry is insufficient in *** review aims to summarize the current scientific and technological advances and insights into tackling challenges to promote the deployment of ***,the differences between various conventional liquid electrolyte-dominated Si-based lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)with Si-SSBs are ***,the interfacial mechanical contact model,chemical reaction properties,and charge transfer kinetics(mechanical–chemical kinetics)between Si-based anode and three different SSEs(inorganic(oxides)SSEs,organic–inorganic composite SSEs,and inorganic(sulfides)SSEs)are systemically reviewed,***,the progress for promising inorganic(sulfides)SSE-based Si-SSBs on the aspects of electrode constitution,three-dimensional structured electrodes,and external stack pressure is highlighted,***,future research directions and prospects in the development of Si-SSBs are proposed.

This paper discusses the performance of a proposed panelized brick veneer over steel stud backup wall system and seismic isolation connections under lateral loads. The panelized wall system was developed to address some shortcomings of the conventional brick veneer wall type. The details of the system are briefly introduced. The study evaluated the performance of the system under out-of-plane simulated wind loads and in-plane cyclic loads using full-scale laboratory experiments. The test setup, test specimen, test procedure, and test results are presented and the performance of the system is evaluated accordingly.

Objective：Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization （TACE） is a standard treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） and/or some unresectable liver metastasis *** liver metastatic lesions such as metastasis from gastrointestinal stromal tumor （GIST） are an indication for transcatheter arterial embolization （TAE）.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Embosphere（㊣）-TAE （Embo-TAE） in comparison with conventional TACE （cTACE） for the treatment of liver metastasis from ***：A total of 45 patients who underwent TACE between Aug 2008 and Feb 2013 were *** with GIST who underwent TAE with Embosphere（㊣）（n=19） were compared with controls who received cTACE （n=26）.The primary end points were treatment response and treatment-related adverse *** secondary end points were progression-free survival （PFS） and overall survival （OS）.Results：The treatment response of Embo-TAE group was significandy higher than that of the cTACE group （P＜0.001）.The PFS was significandy better in the Embosphere（㊣）-group than in the cTACE group （56.6 and 42.1 weeks,respectively; P=0.003）.However,there was no statistically significant difference in liver toxicity between the two groups （P＞0.05）.The median OS in the Embo-TAE group was longer than that in the cTACE group （74.0 weeks,95％ CI：68.2-79.8 vs.61.7 weeks,95％ CI：56.2-67.2 weeks）（unadjusted P=0.045）.The use of Embo-TAE significantly reduced the risk of death in patients with GIST with liver metastases according to the Cox proportonal hazards regression model [hazard ratio （HR）：0.149; 95％ CI：0.064-0.475].Conclusions：TAE with Embosphcre（㊣） showed better treatment response and delayed tumor progression compared with *** was no significant difference in treatment-related hepatic *** thus appears to be a feasible and promising approach in the treatment of liver metastasis from GIST.

In present study,a 10-month feeding trial was carried out to investigate effects of dietary Lactobacillus plantarum and Bacillus subtilis supplementation singly on growth performance,innate immune response,antioxidant capacity and digestive enzyme activity of olive flounder under a commercial production *** experimental groups fed basal diet with supplementation of ***(5.0×107 CFU/g diet)and ***(1.0×108 CFU/g diet)respectively,and control group fed with basal diet without probiotics *** harvest,serum immune parameters,liver antioxidant indices and digestive enzyme activities in liver,stomach and intestines were *** fed with *** supplemented diet showed the highest growth rate which was significantly higher than *** supplemented group(P<0.05)which was also significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).Survival rate were significantly elevated by feeding diet with *** supplementation(P<0.05),while the improvement was not significant for *** supplemented diet compared to control *** the studied immune parameters in serum were substantially enhanced in both experimental *** results were observed for the antioxidant capacity in ***,the activities of digestive enzymes increased substantially in both experimental groups compared to control group and the detected improvement in dietary *** supplemented group were all higher than in *** supplemented group,though not all the improvements were *** summary,the separate supplementation of *** and *** in diet is more beneficial for growth performance and healthy status ***,in olive flounder aquaculture,favorable effects of compounded supplementation of *** and *** are expected.

Metastasis and resistance are main causes to affect the outcome of the current anticancer *** shock protein 90(Hsp90)as an ATP-dependent molecular chaperone takes important role in the tumor metastasis and *** Hsp90 and downregulating its expression show promising in inhibiting tumor metastasis and *** this study,a redox-responsive dual-drug nanocarrier was constructed for the effective delivery of a commonly used chemotherapeutic drug PTX,and a COAmodified 4-arm PEG polymer(4PSC)was ***,an active component in oleanolic acid that exerts strong antitumor activity by downregulating Hsp90 expression,was used as a structural and functional element to endow 4PSC with redox responsiveness and Hsp90 inhibitory *** results showed that 4PSC/PTX nanomicelles efficiently delivered PTX and COA to tumor locations without inducing systemic *** blocking the Hsp90 signaling pathway,4PSC significantly enhanced the antitumor effect of PTX,inhibiting tumor proliferation and invasiveness as well as chemotherapy-induced resistance in *** results were further confirmed in vivo with two preclinical tumor *** findings demonstrate that the COA-modified 4PSC drug delivery nanosystem provides a potential platform for enhancing the efficacy of chemotherapies.
