The thermal stresses relaxation of Ni/NiFe2O4 system functionally graded cermet inert anode for aluminum electrolysis was optimally designed. The transient thermal stresses of the inert anode under complex boundary condition during high-temp （955℃） electrolysis were calculated using the finite-element software ANSYS, the influence of different parameters on the distribution of the thermal stresses were analyzed. The results showed that, during the process of thermal shock, the thermal hoop tensile stress on the surface of the anode is very large, which is possibly the major cause of anode crack; when the radius of the anode is between 0.05-0.15m, a range that can be realized by recent manufacturing technology, the optimum composition distribution exponent p is 0.25; The hoop tensile stresses reduce with the decrease of anode scale and also decrease with the decrease of the convection coefficient between the electrolyte and the anode.

Radiation from laser-produced plasmas was examined as a potential wavelength calibration source for spectrographs in the extreme ultraviolet(EUV) ***, the EUV emission of chromium(Cr) plasmas was acquired via spatiotemporally resolved emission *** the aid of Cowan and flexible atomic code(FAC) structure calculations,and a comparative analysis with the simulated spectra, emission peaks in the 6.5–15.0 nm range were identified as 3 p–4 d, 5 d and 3 p–4 s transition lines from Cr5+–Cr10+ions.A normalized Boltzmann distribution among the excited states and a steady-state collisional-radiative model were assumed for the spectral simulations, and used to estimate the electron temperature and density in the *** results indicate that several relatively isolated emission lines of highly charged ions would be useful for EUV wavelength calibration.

Using high-resolution transmission Kikuchi diffraction(TKD)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM),we examined the hierarchical clusters that form in situ in the heat-affected zone(HAZ),which are com-monly referred to as“ghost”structures,of bimodal titanium alloy Ti-5Al-2Sn-2Zr-4Mo-4Cr(wt%,TC17).The ghost structures are enriched with Al elements but poor in Mo and Cr compared to the surroundingβ*** results show that the ghost structure in middle-HAZ mainly consists ofα_(l)laths with a high-angle grain boundary,which exhibits the classic Burgers orientation relationship(BOR)with the host matrix,while it encircles theα_(P)grains in *** the ghost structure is evidenced to form via in-complete martensitic *** results further confirm that the ghost structure is composed ofαl and tinyβ_(l)laths with BOR,with the former being enriched with Al and poor with Cr and Mo,while the latter is the ***,twoα_(l)variant clusters with a check-mark morphology are fre-quently observed viewed along[0001]_(αl)//[110]_(βl)directions,which are dominated by the crystallographic and geometrical relationships betweenαandβ*** on the microstructural characterization,it is hypothesized that the ghost structure is transformed from the initialα_(P)phase,due to the coupling ef-fect of high thermal stress(which induces the formation of a large number of dislocations)and element diffusion caused by sudden temperature increase and plunge cooling in the HAZ during the welding pro-cess.

Micro-sized（1030.3±178.4 nm） and nano-sized（50.4±8.0 nm） Fe3O4 particles have been fabricated through hydrogen thermal reduction of α-Fe2O3 particles synthesized by means of a hydrothermal *** morphology and microstructure of the micro-sized and the nano-sized Fe3O4 particles were characterized by x-ray diffraction,field-emission gun scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and highresolution electron *** micro-sized Fe3O4 particles exhibit porous structure,while the nano-sized Fe3O4 particles are solid *** electrochemical performance was also *** nano-sized solid Fe3O4 particles exhibit gradual capacity fading with initial discharge capacity of 1083.1 mAhg-1 and reversible capacity retention of 32.6% over 50 ***,the micro-sized porous Fe3O4 particles display very stable capacity-cycling behavior,with initial discharge capacity of 887.5 mAhg-1 and charge capacity of 684.4 mAhg-1 at the 50th ***,77.1% of the reversible capacity can be maintained over 50 *** micro-sized porous Fe3O4 particles with facile synthesis,good cycling performance and high capacity retention are promising candidate as anode materials for high energy-density lithium-ion batteries.

In this study,the microstructure and tensile properties of selective laser melted AlSilOMg at elevated temperature were investigated with focus on the interfacial ***-situ SEM and in-situ EBSD analysis were proposed to characterize the microstructural evolution with *** as-fabricated AlSilOMg sample presents high tensile strength with the ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of~450 MPa and yield strength(YS)of~300 MPa,which results from the mixed strengthening mechanism among grain boundary,solid solution,dislocation and Orowan looping *** holding at the temperature below 200℃for 30 min,the micro structure presents little change,and only a slight decrement of yield strength appears due to the relief of the residual ***,when the holding temperature further increases to 300℃and 400℃,the coarsening and precipitation of Si particles inα-Al matrix occur obviously,which leads to an obvious decrease of solid solution *** the same time,matrix softening and the weakness of dislocation strengthening also play important *** the holding temperature reaches to 400℃,the yield strength decreases significantly to about 25 MPa which is very similar to the as-cast Al *** might be concluded that the YS is dominated by the matrix *** the softening mechanism counteracts work hardening,the extremely high elongation occurs.

To suppress the inner charge recombination and inject vast electrons,CdTe nanocrystals are embedded into ultrathin ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheets to construct ZnIn_(2)S_(4)/CdTe heterostructures,where the nanocrystals are generated by a laser irradiation *** optimal ZnIn_(2)S_(4)/CdTe heterojunction exhibits an excellent catalytic activity of 24.3 mmol/h/g,which is relatively high among the ZnIn_(2)S_(4)-based photocatalysts with-out noble *** enhancement is ascribed to a win-win mechanism of nanoscale heterojunctions and sulfur *** strong electron coupling effect,which is verified by density functional the-ory(DFT)calculations,impels the photo-generated electrons transfer from CdTe to ZnIn_(2)S_(4),boosting the charge ***,the sulfur vacancies existing in ZnIn_(2)S_(4) can capture photoelectrons and act as active sites,facilitating the H_(2) generation *** addition,the ZnIn_(2)S_(4) base and the ZnIn_(2)S_(4)/CdTe heterojunction also possess an evident photothermal effect and renewable cycle phenomena,enhancing the photocatalytic *** research provides new insights into the regulation of charge transfer through embedding nanocrystals.

Resistant starch(RS)encompasses those forms of starch which are not accessible to human digestive enzymes and are fermented in the colons producing short chain fatty *** plant materials containing RS are few in the *** this contribution,the culture ability of callus from anthers of F1 plants from,landraces,‘Zhaxima’(Oryza sativa ***,high-RS rice line with 7.705±0.142,g/100 g)×‘Nanjing 46’(Oryza sativa ***,rice variety with RS content(g/100 g)of 0.200±0.001 crosses were studied for obtaining high RS rice *** results showed that when M8 basic induction medium was added with 1.5 mg/l 2,4-D、2 mg/lNAA and 0.3 mg/l KT,the inductivity of callus was high as 32.14%for 21 d after pretreatment at 4°C for 3 d;When MS differentiation basic medium was added with 2 mg/lKT and 3 mg/l ABA,the frequency of regeneration for callus was 50.3%with only a regeneration frequency of 4.55%grown into green *** RS content in the seeds was between those of the two parents and was partially normally distributed,the highest RS contents of the regenerated plants was as high as 7.66±1.197%.This produced an efficient technology for regenerating stable rice lines with high RS and good eating quality using anthers culture.

The fracture behavior for welded joint of new generation fine grained steel SS400 was investigated and assessed on the basis of fitness for purpose philosophy. The actual critical defect sizes for the SS400 base metal and its weld HAZ (heat affected zone) defined by the gross yielding criterium have been determined directly by means of wide plate tests. It has been shown that although the HAZ grain growth occurs due to the welding heat, the resistance to fracture is not deteriorated. The deformation behavior of wide plate specimen was also studied by finite, element (FE) analysis. The deformation of weld HAZ is protected by the high strength weld metal, so it is easier to get the general yielding for the welded joint specimen.
