Androgenetic alopecia(AGA)is a chronic and progressive form of hair loss characterized by vascular degeneration in the perifollicular microenvironment,leading to cell apoptosis and eventual loss of hair follicles(HFs).Traditional therapeutic formulations,such as Minoxidil(MxD)tincture,have limitations in reshaping the perifollicular microenvironment and exhibit limited ***,we report a multi-synergistic therapeutic platform for high-performance hair regeneration *** platform combines microneedle(MN)patches loaded with MxD-encapsulated nanostructured lipid carriers(MxD-NLc-MNs)and cold atmospheric plasma(cAP).The MNs’mechanical strength enables efficient transdermal delivery of MxD to the targeted dermal papilla cells,promoting cell ***,in collaboration with MxD,the mechanical stimulation exerted by MN application synergistically upregulates the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor,leading to ***,the transient microchannels in the skin created by MNs facilitate the transdermal delivery of cAPgenerated nitric oxide(NO)to the sites of HF lesions,whereby the synergistic interaction between MxD and NO boosts perifollicular ***,the perifollicular microenvironment can be effectively reshaped to accelerate hair regeneration in AGA murine *** multi-synergistic combination therapy strategy would hold great promise for effectively treating AGA and promoting hair regrowth.

As one of the most common structural motifs in natural products,cyclopentenones usually can be fabricated by Nazarov cyclization using divinyl ketones or functionalized tertiary divinyl carbinols(TDcs)as ***,straightforward method for transforming unfunctionalized TDcs to their corresponding cyclopentenones is currently ***,we wish to report the total syntheses of four structurally distinct terpenoids,namely laurane-type marine sesquiterpenoids isolaurene,debromoaplysin and aplysin,and guaiane sesquiterpenoid guaiadienone A,all using a novel synthetic method,named oxidative Nazarov cyclization,as the key *** work demonstrated our robust method is suitable for synthesizing various highly substituted cyclopentenones.

The exploitation of high performance redox-active substances is critically important for the development of non-aqueous redoxﬂow ***,three tetrathiofulvalene(TTF)derivatives with different substitution groups,namely TTF diethyl ester(TTFDE),TTF tetramethyl ester(TTFTM),and TTF tetraethyl ester(TTFTE),are prepared and their energy storage properties are *** has been found that the redox potential and solubility of these TTF derivatives in conventional carbonate electrolytes increases with the number of ester *** battery with a catholyte of 0.2 mol L^(-1) of TTFTE delivers a speciﬁc capacity of more than 10 Ah L^(-1) at the current density of 0.5 c with two discharge voltage platforms locating at as high as 3.85 and 3.60 V ***/Liþ.Its capacity retention can be improved from 2.34 Ah L^(-1) to 3.60 Ah L^(-1) after 100 cycles by the use of an anion exchange membrane to block the crossover of TTF *** excellent cycling stability of the TIF esters is supported by their well-delocalized electrons,as revealed by the density function theory ***,the introduction of more and larger electron-withdrawing groups is a promising strategy to simultaneously increase the redox-potential and solubility of redox-active ma-terials for non-aqueous redoxﬂow batteries.

Almost all living organisms exhibit autonomic oscillatory activities,which are primarily generated by the rhythmic activities of their neural *** nonlinear oscillator models have been proposed to elucidate these neural behaviors and subsequently applied to the domain of robot ***,the oscillation patterns generated by these models are often unpredictable and need to be obtained through parameter *** study introduces a mathematical model that can be used to analyze multiple neurons connected through fast inhibitory *** characteristic of this oscillator is that its stationary point is stable,but the location of the stationary point changes with the system *** through reasonable topology and threshold parameter selection can the oscillation be *** study analyzed the conditions for stable oscillation in two-neuron networks and three-neuron networks,and obtained the basic rules of the phase relationship of the oscillator network established by this *** addition,this study also introduces synchronization mechanisms into the model to enable it to be synchronized with the sensing ***,this study used these theories to establish a robot single leg joint angle generation *** experimental results showed that the simulated robot could achieve synchronization with human motion,and had better control effects compared to traditional oscillators.

Single-Ni-atoms on nitrogenated humic acid based porous carbon for cO_(2) electroreduction

tWe proposed a facile synthesis of single-Ni-atom catalysts on low-cost porous carbon using a calcina-tion method at the temperatures of 850-1000°c,which were used for cO_(2) electrochemical reduction to *** porous carbon was prepared by carbonizing cheap and abundant humic *** structural characterizations of the as-synthesized catalysts and their electrocatalytic performances were *** results showed that the single-Ni-atom catalyst activated at 950°c showed an optimum catalytic performance,and it reached a cO Faradaic efficiency of 91.9% with a cO partial current density of 6.9 mAcm^(-2)at-0.9 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE).Additionally,the cO Faradaic efficiency and current density of the optimum catalyst changed slightly after 8 h of continuous operation,suggesting that it possessed an excellent *** structure-activity relations indicate that the variation in the cO_(2) electroche-mical reduction performance for the as-synthesized catalysts is ascribed to the combined effects of the increase in the content of pyrrolic N,the evaporation of Ni and N,the decrease in pore volume,and the change in graphitization degree.

chain Dynamics Heterogeneity in Plasticized Poly(vinyl butyral)(PVB) as Elucidated by Solid-State NMR

The chain dynamics heterogeneity of the poly(vinyl butyral)(PVB) plasticized by triethylene glycol bis(2-ethylhexa noate)(TEG-EH) was investigated by various solid-state NMR *** plasticized PVB shows two domains in distinct molecular dynamics differences,namely,rigid and soft domains,where the latter is the plasticizer-rich *** time domain low field NMR was first used to investigate the dynamics heterogeneity of the plasticized PVB,and the results show the decreasing activated energy of components in the soft domain of plasticized PVB(E_a=20.2 kJ/mol) as compared with that of the pristine one(E_a=24.3 kJ/mol).Detailed dynamics heterogeneity was obtained by high-field NMR with site-specific *** quadrupole-echo ~2H-NMR was adopted to elucidate the dynamics heterogeneity of the vinyl alcohol(VA) units,where only the hydroxyl group of VA is *** ~1H-^(13)c WISE NMR spectra show that there is not much difference in the mobility of the VB unit in PVB with and without plasticizer,whereas the glass transition temperature differed by approximately 53℃.This is further supported by Torchia's T_1 relaxation *** origin of such an unusual phenomenon is attributed to the critical role of the remaining VA(~22%) in the soft domain,where the VA units locally aggregate through hydrogen ***,the existence of a mobility gradient in the VB unit has been ***,the mobility difference for VB with different stereo-geometry(meso or racemic conformation) is observed for the first *** indicates the importance of modulating the ratio of meso over racemic VB for controlling the macroscopic perfo rmance of PVB.

A signaling cascade mediating fruit trait development via phosphorylation-modulated nuclear accumulation of JAZ repressor

It is generally accepted that jasmonate-ZIM domain(JAZ)repressors act to mediate jasmonate(JA)signaling via cORONATINE-INSENSITIVE1(cOI1)-mediated ***,we report a cryptic signaling cascade where a JAZ repressor,FvJAZ12,mediates multiple signaling inputs via phosphorylation-modulated subcellular translocation rather than the cOI1-mediated degradation mechanism in strawberry(Fragaria vesca).FvJAZ12 acts to regulate flavor metabolism and defense response,and was found to be the target of Fv MPK6,a mitogen-activated protein kinase that is capable of responding to multiple signal ***6 phosphorylates FvJAZ12 at the amino acid residues S179 and T183 adjacent to the PY residues,thereby attenuating its nuclear accumulation and relieving its repression for FvMYc2,which acts to control the expression of lipoxygenase 3(FvLOx3),an important gene involved in JA biosynthesis and a diverse array of cellular *** data reveal a previously unreported mechanism for JA signaling and decipher a signaling cascade that links multiple signaling inputs with fruit trait development.

Thermally chargeable supercapacitors can collect low-grade heat generated by the human body and convert it into electricity as a power supply unit for wearable ***,the low Seebeck coefficient and heat-to-electricity conversion efficiency hinder further *** this paper,we designed a high-performance thermally chargeable supercapacitor device composed of ZnMn_(2)O_(4)@Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(x)Mxene composites(ZMO@Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(x)Mxene)electrode and UIO-66 metal–organic framework doped multichannel polyvinylidene fluoridehexafluoro-propylene ionogel electrolyte,which realized the thermoelectric conversion and electrical energy storage at the same *** thermally chargeable supercapacitor device exhibited a high Seebeck coefficient of 55.4 mV K^(−1),thermal voltage of 243 mV,and outstanding heat-to-electricity conversion efficiency of up to 6.48%at the temperature difference of 4.4 *** addition,this device showed excellent charge–discharge cycling stability at high-temperature differences(3 K)and low-temperature differences(1 K),*** two thermally chargeable supercapacitor units in series,the generated output voltage of 500 mV further confirmed the stability of *** a single device was worn on the arm,a thermal voltage of 208.3 mV was obtained indicating the possibility of application in wearable electronics.

On the half-quantized Hall conductance of massive surface electrons in magnetic topological insulator films

In topological insulators,massive surface states resulting from local symmetry breaking were thought to exhibit a half-quantized Hall conductance,obtained from the low-energy effective model in an infinite Brillouin *** a lattice model,the surface band is composed of a combination of surface states and bulk *** massive surface states alone may not be enough to support an ex.ct one-half quantized surface Hall conductance in a finite Brillouin zone and the whole surface band always gives an integer quantized Hall conductance as enforced by the TKNN *** explore this,we investigate the band structures of a lattice model describing the magnetic topological insulator film that supports the axion insulator,chern insulator,and semi-magnetic topological insulator *** reveal that the gapped and gapless surface bands in the three phases are characterized by an integer-quantized Hall conductance and a half-quantized Hall conductance,*** propose an effective model to describe the three phases and show that the low-energy dispersion of the surface bands inherits from the surface Dirac *** gapped surface band manifests a nearly half-quantized Hall conductance at low energy near the center of Brillouin zone,but is compensated by another nearly half-quantized Hall conductance at high energy near the boundary of Brillouin zone because a single band can only have an integer-quantized Hall *** gapless band hosts a zero Hall conductance at low energy but is compensated by another half-quantized Hall conductance at high energy,and thus the half-quantized Hall conductance can only originate from the gapless ***,we calculate the layer-resolved Hall conductance of the *** conclusion suggests that the individual gapped surface band alone does not support the half-quantized surface Hall effect in a lattice model.
