significant progress has been made in magnesium-based composites during recent decades,especially for the appearance of magnesium matrix composite reinforced by *** nanoparticles added not only exhibit a good strengthening effect,but also maintain the initial toughness of the matrix,effectively balancing the contradiction between the strength and plasticity in the traditional magnesium matrix *** magnesium matrix nanocomposites with excellent mechanical properties have pushed the development of magnesium matrix composites to a new ***,it is very difficult to disperse the nanoparticles in metal melt especially in magnesium melt which is different from other metal melts and dangerous during the cast *** means that the preparation of magnesium matrix nanocomposite is extremely ***,the magnesium matrix nanocomposites possess a distinctive characteristic in deformation behavior,strengthening and toughening mechanism due to their special size effect of ***,this review will focus on the new preparation technologies,deformation behavior,mechanical properties and strengthening and toughening *** potential applications,development trends and future research ideas of magnesium matrix nanocomposite are also prospected.©2020 Published by Elsevier *** behalf of Chongqing University.

Carbon nanotubes（CNTs） reinforced Mg matrix composites were fabricated by a novel melt *** novel processing consisted of two courses：CNTs pre-dispersion and ultrasonic melt *** ball-milling was employed to pre-disperse CNTs on Zinc（Zn） *** CNT entanglements were well dispersed to single CNT or tiny clusters on Zn *** ultrasonic melt processing further dispersed CNTs in the Mg melt,especially tiny CNT ***,a uniform dispersion of CNTs was achieved in the as-cast *** extrusion further improved the distribution of *** increased both the strength and elongation of the matrix ***,the elongation of the matrix alloy was enhanced by 40%.Grain refinement and the pulling-out of CNTs resulted in the evident improvement of ductility for the composites.

In the coal mining industry,the gangue separation phase imposes a key challenge due to the high visual similaritybetween coal and ***,separation methods have become more intelligent and efficient,using newtechnologies and applying different features for *** such method exploits the difference in substancedensity,leading to excellent coal/gangue ***,this study uses density differences to distinguishcoal from gangue by performing volume prediction on the *** training samples maintain a record of3-side images as input,volume,and weight as the ground truth for the *** prediction process relieson a Convolutional neural network(CGVP-CNN)model that receives an input of a 3-side image and then extractsthe needed features to estimate an approximation for the *** classification was comparatively performedvia ten different classifiers,namely,K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN),Linear support Vector Machines(Linear sVM),Radial Basis Function(RBF)sVM,Gaussian Process,Decision Tree,Random Forest,Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP),Adaptive Boosting(AdaBosst),Naive Bayes,and Quadratic Discriminant Analysis(QDA).After severalexperiments on testing and training data,results yield a classification accuracy of 100%,92%,95%,96%,100%,100%,100%,96%,81%,and 92%,*** test reveals the best timing with KNN,which maintained anaccuracy level of 100%.Assessing themodel generalization capability to newdata is essential to ensure the efficiencyof the model,so by applying a cross-validation experiment,the model generalization was *** useddataset was isolated based on the volume values to ensure the model generalization not only on new images of thesame volume but with a volume outside the trained ***,the predicted volume values were passed to theclassifiers group,where classification reported accuracy was found to be(100%,100%,100%,98%,88%,87%,100%,87%,97%,100%),*** obtaining a classification with hi

In this paper,a distributed cooperative control protocol is presented to deal with actuator failures of multi-agent systems in the presence of connectivity *** the developed strategy,each agent can track the reference trajectory of the leader in the presence of actuator failures,disturbances and *** connectivity of the multi-agent system can always be ensured during the control *** achieve the aforementioned control objectives,a potential function is introduced to the distributed adaptive fault-tolerant control algorithm to preserve the initial connected network among the *** uncertainty of the multi-agent system,which is allowed to be described by discontinuous functions,is approximated and compensated using the fuzzy logic *** asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system is demonstrated through the use of Cellina’s approximate selection theorem of nonsmooth *** to the developed adaptive laws,the upper bound of the disturbance is allowed to be uncertain,which facilitates the implementation of the control ***,simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

H7N9 subtype avian influenza virus poses a great challenge for poultry *** disease virus(NDV)-vectored H7N9 avian influenza vaccines(NDV_(vec)H7N9)are effective in disease control because they are protective and allow mass *** note,these vaccines elicit undetectable H7N9-specific hemagglutination-inhibition(HI)but high IgG antibodies in ***,the molecular basis and protective mechanism underlying this particular antibody immunity remain ***,immunization with an NDV_(vec)H7N9 induced low anti-H7N9 HI and virus neutralization titers but high levels of hemagglutinin(HA)-binding IgG antibodies in *** residues(s150,G151 and s152)in HA of H7N9 virus were identified as the dominant epitopes recognized by the NDV_(vec)H7N9 immune *** transferred NDV_(vec)H7N9 immune serum conferred complete protection against H7N9 virus infection in *** NDV_(vec)H7N9 immune serum can mediate a potent lysis of HA-expressing and H7N9 virus-infected cells and significantly suppress H7N9 virus *** activities of the serum were significantly impaired after heat-inactivation or treatment with complement inhibitor,suggesting the engagement of the complement ***,mutations in the 150-sGs-152 sites in HA resulted in significant reductions in cell lysis and virus neutralization mediated by the NDV_(vec)H7N9 immune serum,indicating the requirement of antibody-antigen binding for complement ***,antibodies induced by the NDV_(vec)H7N9 can activate antibody-dependent complement-mediated lysis of H7N9 virus-infected cells and complement-mediated neutralization of H7N9 *** findings unveiled a novel role of the complement in protection conferred by the NDV_(vec)H7N9,highlighting a potential benefit of engaging the complement system in H7N9 vaccine design.

The leakage of liquid electrolyte and the formation of lithium dendrites pose challenges to safety and stability of lithium metal batteries(LMBs).The appearance of gel polymer electrolyte(GPE)has obviously improved the safety of traditional ***,the limited inhibition of GPE on lithium dendrites is detrimental to the safety of ***,a kind of poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene)(PVDF-HFP)/gelatin(GN)GPE with high ionic conductivity,high-temperature resistance,and flame-retardancy,was prepared by electrospinning and soaking *** the electrospinning network of PVDF-HFP,its affinity to liquid electrolytes,makes this GPE more beneficial to ions transport and the formation of ***,the GN with sol–gel properties,enhances the mechanical property(13.5 MPa)of HFP-GN ***,x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(xPs)and density functional theory(DFT)suggest that the attraction of polar groups of GN to Li+can regulate the distribution of Li+and protect Li ***,the application of HFP-GN GPEs to LMBs with cathodes of LiFePO_(4) and LiCoO_(2) deliver excellent electrochemical performances:after 300 cycles,the LiFePO_(4)/HFP-GN GPE/Li battery keeps a low capacity decay rate of 0.09%at 5 C;after 400 cycles at 2 C,the LiCoO_(2)/HFP-GN GPE/Li cell retains a high capacity retention of 74%.This GPE is demonstrated for the application prospect of safe LMBs.

In this study,a series of CuCl_(2)-modified MnO_(x)-CeO_(x)nanorods were synthesized for the oxidation of Hg^(0).The addition of CuCl_(2)resulted in an enhancement in the catalyst’s Hg^(0)oxidation ability,and Hg^(0)oxidation efficiency reached>97%from 150 to 250°*** the MnO_(x)-CeO_(x)catalysts,Mn^(4+)played the role of the active species for Hg^(0)oxidization,but in the CuCl_(2)-doped catalysts Cl−also contributed to Hg^(0)oxidation,conferring the superior performance of these *** introduction of sO_(2) led to a decrease in the availability of Mn^(4+),and the Hg^(0)oxidation efficiency of MnO_(x)-CeO_(x)decreased from about 100%to about 78%.By contrast,CuCl_(2)-promoted samples maintained a Hg^(0)oxidation efficiency of about 100%during the sO_(2) deactivation cycle due to the high reactivity of Cl−.

Clubroot disease is a severe threat to Brassica crops globally,particularly in western *** resistance,achieved through pyramiding clubroot resistance(CR)genes with different modes of action,is the most important strategy for managing the ***,studies on the CR gene functions are quite *** this study,we have conducted investigations into the temporal,structural,and interacting features of a newly cloned CR gene,Rcr1,using CRIsPR/Cas9 *** temporal functionality,we developed a novel CRIsPR/Cas9-based binary vector,pHHIGR-Hsp18.2,to deliver Rcr1 into a susceptible canola line(DH12075)and observed that early expression of Rcr1 is critical for conferring *** structural functionality,several independent mutations in specific domains of Rcr1 resulted in loss-offunction,highlighting their importance for CR *** the study of the interacting features of Rcr1,a cysteine protease gene and its homologous allele in canola were successfully disrupted via CRIsPR/Cas9 as an interacting component with Rcr1 protein,resulting in the conversion from clubroot resistant to susceptible in plants carrying intact *** results indicated an indispensable role of these two cysteine proteases in Rcr1-mediated resistance *** study,the first of its kind,provides valuable insights into the functionality of ***,the new vector p HHIGR-Hsp18.2 demonstrated an inducible feature on the removal of add-on traits,which should be useful for functional genomics and other similar research in brassica crops.

Insufficient observations near the origin of the Kuroshio have led to incomplete understanding of the intraseasonal variability(IsV)of the *** measurements of the Kuroshio velocity were performed with an array of three profiler moorings(122.7°E,123°E,and 123.3°E)along 18°N from January 2018 to February *** IsV of the Kuroshio at 18°N was investigated based on a combination of mooring observations and global high-resolution HYbrid Coordinate Ocean Model reanalysis *** estimated time-averaged transport in the upper 350 m across the observation transect was 6.5±2.6 sv(1.0 sv=10^(6)m^(3)/s).Two significant IsV peaks at 50-60 and~100 d were recognized in the power spectra of the meridional velocity and *** analysis indicated that the IsV at 50-60 d was caused by westward-propagating eddies at average propagation speed of~13 cm/s and wavelength of~635 *** IsV peak at~100 d was mainly caused by northward-propagating eddies generated in the North Equatorial Current *** investigation indicated that the IsV of the Kuroshio at 18°N is dominated by meridional transport,rather than by the zonal migration of the Kuroshio main *** findings provide a better understanding of the IsV of the Kuroshio east of Luzon Island.
