Precise design and synthesis of sub-nano scale catalysts with controllable electronic and geometric structures are pivotal for enhancing the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)performance of molybdenum sulfide(Mos_(2))and unraveling its structure−activity *** leveraging transition molybdenum polysulfide clusters as functional units for multi-level ordering,we successfully designed and synthesized Mos_(x)nanowire networks derived from[Mo_(3)s_(13)]^(2−) clusters via evaporationinduced self-assembly,which exhibit enhanced HER activity attributed to a high density of active sites and dynamic evolution behavior under cathodic ***_(x) nanowire networks electrode yields a current density of 100 mA·cm^(−2) at 142 mV in 0.5 M H_(2)sO_(4).This work provides an attractive prospect for optimizing catalysts at the sub-nano scale and offers insights into a strategy for designing catalysts in various gas evolution reactions.

Hollow semiconductor nanostructures with direct Z-scheme heterojunction have significant advantages for photocatalytic reactions,and optimizing the interfacial charge transmission of Z-scheme heterojunction is the hinge to achieve excellent solar conversion *** this work,tubular Ni_(1−x)Co_(x.s.(2)-Cds heterostructures with reinforced Z-scheme charge transmission were constructed through an In-metal-organic framework(MOF)templated *** Z-scheme charge transfer mechanism was sufficiently confirmed by combining density functional theory(DFT)calculation,x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(x.s.,surface photovoltage spectroscopy(sPV),and radical testing ***,the use of sodium citrate complexant contributes to the formation of intimate heterointerface,and the Fermi level gap between Cds and Nis_(2)is enlarged through Co doping into Nis_(2),which enhances the built-in electric field and photo-carriers transmission driving force for Ni_(1−x)Co_(x.s.(2)-Cds heterojunction,resulting in an evidently promoted activity toward H2 evolution reaction(HER).Under visible-light(λ>400 nm)irradiation,the Ni_(1−x)Co_(x.s.(2)-Cds composite with 10 mol%Co doping and 80 wt.%Cds(NC_(0.10)s-80%Cds)achieved an outstanding HER rate up to 35.94 mmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1)(corresponding to the apparent quantum efficiency of 34.7%at 420 nm),approximately 76.4 times that of 3 wt.%Pt-loaded Cds and it is much superior to that of most Cds-based photocatalysts ever ***,the good photocatalytic durability of Ni_(1−x)Co_(x.s.(2)-Cds heterostructures was validated by cycling and long-term HER *** work could inspire the development of high-performance Z-scheme heterojunction via optimizing the morphology and interfacial charge transmission.

Lung cancer produces a high incidence of malignant *** have been many studies on lung cancer using mass spectrometry(Ms)***,most studies have focused on humoral *** this work,26 pairs of tissue samples(tumor ***-tumor)from patients with lung cancer were analyzed using liquid chromatography-tandem Ms(LC-Ms/Ms)with data-independent acquisition *** total,3152 proteins were quantified from tissue samples with high confidence,including 189 up-regulated and 522 down-regulated proteins(tumor ***-tumor).In addition,79 and 690 proteins were identified only in para-cancerous samples and cancerous samples,*** results from bio-informatics tools indicated that altered proteins like PEBP1,HRG and LYZ could be ideal reservoirs for screening the potential biomarkers for lung *** is believed these tissue-specific proteomics results will assist in the studies of lung cancer.

Ferroptosis,a unique modality of cell death with mechanistic and morphological differences from other cell death modes,plays a pivotal role in regulating tumorigenesis and offers a new opportunity for modulating anticancer drug *** epigenetic modifications and posttranslational modifications(PTMs)promote anticancer drug resistance,cancer progression,and *** studies indicate that epigenetic modifications can transcriptionally and translationally determine cancer cell vulnerability to ferroptosis and that ferroptosis functions as a driver in nervous system diseases(NsDs),cardiovascular diseases(CVDs),liver diseases,lung diseases,and kidney *** this review,we first summarize the core molecular mechanisms of ***,the roles of epigenetic processes,including histone PTMs,DNA methylation,and noncoding RNA regulation and PTMs,such as phosphorylation,ubiquitination,sUMOylation,acetylation,methylation,and ADP-ribosylation,are concisely *** roles of epigenetic modifications and PTMs in ferroptosis regulation in the genesis of diseases,including cancers,NsD,CVDs,liver diseases,lung diseases,and kidney diseases,as well as the application of epigenetic and PTM modulators in the therapy of these diseases,are then discussed in *** the mechanisms of ferroptosis regulation mediated by epigenetic modifications and PTMs in cancer and other diseases will facilitate the development of promising combination therapeutic regimens containing epigenetic or PTM-targeting agents and ferroptosis inducers that can be used to overcome chemotherapeutic resistance in cancer and could be used to prevent other *** addition,these mechanisms highlight potential therapeutic approaches to overcome chemoresistance in cancer or halt the genesis of other diseases.

An obvious trend shift in the annual mean and winter mixed layer depth(MLD)in the Antarctic Circumpolar Current(ACC)region was detected during the 1960–2021 *** trends stopped in mid-1980s,followed by a period of weak *** MLD deepening trend difference between the two periods were mainly distributed in the western areas in the Drake Passage,the areas north to Victoria Land and Wilkes Land,and the central parts of the south Indian *** newly formed ocean current shear due to the meridional shift of the ACC flow ax.s.between the two periods is the dominant driver for the MLD trends shift distributed in the western areas in the Drake Passage and the central parts of the south Indian *** saltier trends in the regions north to Victoria Land and Wilkes Land could be responsible for the strengthening mixing processes in this region.

Heterojunction construction,especially s-scheme heterojunction,represents an efficient universal strategy to achieve high-performance photocatalytic *** further performance stimulation of these well-designed heterojunctions,modulating the interfacial internal electric field(IEF)to steer dynamic charge transfer represents a promising ***,we realized the precise regulation of Fermi level(E_(F))of the oxidation semiconductor(mesoporous WO_(3-x))by tailoring the concentration of oxygen vacancies(V_(O)),maximizing the IEF intensity in Cs_(2)CuBr_(4)@WO_(3-x)(CCB@WO_(3-x))s-scheme *** augmented IEF affords a robust driving force for directional electron delivery,leading to boosted charge ***,the developed CCB@WO_(3-x.s.scheme heterojunction demonstrated outstanding photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction performance,with the electron consumption rate(Relectron)up to 390.34μmol g^(-1)h^(-1),which is 3.28 folds higher than that of pure *** in-depth analysis of the s-scheme electron transfer mode was presented via theoretical investigations,electron spin resonance(EsR),photo-irradiated Kelvin probe force microscopy(KPFM),and in-situ x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(x.s..Finally,the CO_(2)photoconversion route was explored in detail using in-situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTs)and DFT theoretical calculations.

Inflammatory responses,manifested in excessive oxidative stress and microglia overactivation,together with metal ion-triggered amyloid-beta(Aβ)deposition,are critical hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).The intricate pathogenesis causes severe impairment of neurons,which,in turn,exacerbates Aβaggregation and facilitates AD ***,multifunctional melanin-like metal ion chelators and neuroinflammation regulators(named PDA@K)were constructed for targeted treatment of *** this platform,intrinsically bioactive material polydopamine nanoparticles(PDA)with potent metal ion chelating and ROs scavenging effects were decorated with the KLVFF peptide,endowing the system with the capacity of enhanced pathological blood–brain barrier(BBB)crossing and lesion site accumulation via Aβ*** vitro and in vivo experiment revealed that PDA@K had high affinity toward Aβand were able to hitch a ride on Aβto achieve increased pathological BBB *** engineered PDA@K effectively mitigated Aβaggregate and alleviated neuroinflammation.

Fes_(2) shows significant potential as cathode material for all-solid-state lithium batteries(AssLBs)due to its high theoretical specific capacity,low cost,and environmental ***,the poor ion/electron conductivity and large volume variation effect of Fes_(2) inhibit its practical ***,the influence of particle size of Fes_(2) on the corresponding sulfide-based solid-state batteries is carefully investigated by tuning Fes_(2) ***,low operating temperature is chosen to mitigate the large volume changes during cycling in the battery.s-Fes_(2) with smaller particle sizes delivers superior electrochemical performances than that of the larger L-Fes_(2) in Li_(5.5)Ps_(4.5)Cl_(1.5)-based AssLBs under different operating temperatures.s-Fes_(2) shows stable discharge capacities during 50 cycles with a current density of 0.1 m A/cm^(2)under -20℃.When the current density rises to 1.0 m A/cm^(2),it delivers an initial discharge capacity of 146.9 m Ah/g and maintains 63% of the capacity after 100 *** work contributes to constructing AssLBs enables excellent electrochemical performances under extreme operating temperatures.

Peer-to-Peer Trading in Distribution systems with the Utility's Operation

To realize a liberalized peer-to-peer (P2P) electricity market in distribution systems with network security, this paper develops a general framework for P2P trading in distribution systems with the utility's operation. The model is formulated as a bi-level programming. The utility's operation is an upper level problem, where a calculation method of network usage charges for P2P trading is also proposed. Peers' P2P trading is a lower level problem. An iterative algorithm based on analytical target cascading (ATC) is proposed to solve the model, where the interactions between utility and peers are presented. Numerical results on the IEEE 33-bus system demonstrate that the proposed method realizes a liberalized P2P market and ensures network security in distribution systems.
